Actually in Mexico City, when we are taking about “primer” we literally say “primer” in the Ingles mode because in Spanish there’s not and exact translation. We could use some tames “pre-base” pre=before base=foundation; I like your video! And the makeup is stunning

I love how everyone has a different translation depending on where they are from. Academic Spanish is pretty limiting in the US - there is an abundance of regional phrases and styles of labeling things that you'll just never hear except from a native speaker. 😊

Kathleen’s Spanish is like mine. When you don’t know the word in Spanish you say it in English but the rest of the sentence is in Spanish. It is my second language and my biological family only speaks English.
Lol. I studied in Mexico twice and I would always add a " no se como se dice " in my spanglish sentences 😂 that was close to 20 years ago, and I still talk to my kids in spanglish

But if you were, you wouldn't get offended anyway, because you would understand how we speak Spanglish all the time, no problem with it.
