Glad you recorded this it was more intricate than I thought it would be
These dryers are getting more complicated but well worth fixing them.
Great vlog...I always learn something new in your vlogs! Thank you for sharing the process. đđœ
Great job Oviđđđđ

Gracias.
I know You can do it, You have the confidence & patience. Good luck
Thank you! The dryer has been working like a champ since I completed the repairs a few days ago and should last for many years. This is something that every household has and I hope it is useful to all.
Hello đ Ovi you can fix everything and everything đșđ»nice work đȘđ©đđđ
Thanks đThese dryers (front loaders) are more complicated and will take a while to replace a belt. That's why it's best to replace all the rollers and pulley while you're at it. Now, most newer dryers are like mine and this video should be able to help someone out there. Maybe you... LOL
I still use the old type of dryer. It only takes a few minutes to change the belt. Less than ten screws to take off and very simple to install nstall the belt.
Oh yes. I had one of those at my previous home and had to replace the belt there too. These new dryers are more involved and can take a long time to do.
Good job Senior chief, youâre a man of many talents. Thankfully you didnât finish putting everything back together without the beltâŠđ
I need to clean my dryer vent duct. Were you happy with that cleaning kit you bought on Amazon?
Take care!
Is this Chris U? Thanks, and yes I am happy with the parts from Amazon. First I did a search for my specific model and then I looked for the highest rated parts. Only 31 bucks. And since I was already there I decided to get the kit with the rollers, pulley and spring. Might as well because I was going to have the dryer apart. This job can last me many years. Have a great week.
@@oviduranyes itâs Chris U. Keep up the good work SC Duran!
@@cu1389 I got a call from CTF today. Turns out they have a farewell poster with signatures from people that worked on the program. They are sending it over to my home soon.
Awesome job ovi. You are the new ovi vila of the north
Thanks. I hope this can help someone since many of us have similar dryers.

@@epagan22 my culantro is slowly growing outside. Update on them next week.
@@oviduranIâm looking forward to see them
Good job. After watching you replace that belt. In my opinion, that is a bad design. The belt does not look robust enough for heavy loads. Both sides of the belt on the same side of the tensioner pully, Wouldn't the belt rub against itself? The motor should have been placed at the rear of the machine with a simple belt and pulley system and an access panel at the rear for simple replacement. That is my opinion, I could be wrong.
Thanks. Most belts in front loader dryers are now made like this with materials manufacturers call PTFE and are supposed to last 10 to 20 years. I remember in the old days belts were about three times wider and thicker than this, but I have a good feeling about this PTFE material. Yes, both sides of the belt are on the same side of the pulley, but once you put the drum in, the part of the belt that is directly touching the pulley, will pull the pulley up about four to five inches away from the bottom side of the belt and they never touch, at least until the belt brakes. It a pretty ingenious design. It's been a week since I installed the new belt and am looking forward to many years of use. Greetings from the Adirondack Mountains.
@@oviduran I hope you get many many years of service. Best wishes.
