  • I ride from Debre Marqos to Dejen, and then, across the gigantic Blue Nile gorge, to Gohatsion. In Dejen, I have a not so appetizing meal, then I find a lovely hotel, before going to see the view over the gorge of the Blue Nile. On the next day, I have a great breakfast in Dejen, and then I finally head to the great adventure of crossing the gorge of the Blue Nile.
The descent is very hard, and the climb is much much harder than what I ever imagined, and unexpectedly, no because of the cycling...

@bubblysnowflake7348 I heard him saying wants to travel to SA doing this type of thing. First thing in some places they will rob him at knife or gunpoint of his camera, money etc. If he refuses they could harm him. Some people will cheer him on but not everyone. Violent crime is real in South Africa.

Salut Yves, quelle aventure! Respect! J'aurais voulu faire partie du voyage, même avec les dangers que tu as côtoyé/ que tu côtoies. Just make sure you return in one piece, but I see you are careful. Keep the spirit, don't be too hard on those children. I think it's a lot of curiosity. You don't want your stuff robbed and that's also understandable.
