@@jackjohnson5714 I was wondering how many people would notice me randomly letting that slip 😁 I haven’t ran into too much overlap between substance abuse and the MTG scene but would love to be a resource for anyone struggling with that.
I don't have a resource, but I used to have quite a few friends who replaced substance abuse with making it a habit to come out to fnm, play legacy and play commander and just join the community. I've known about 6 people or so who have done this.

I definitely prefer live gameplay over replay even if it results in occasional misplay, but replays are better than getting no content at all.

Loving the gameplay and walkthroughs on the thought process for certain plays. Built this deck in paper recently and been having a blast. Was wondering, is there any possibility to build a similar deck in modern? Or would you have to take a completely different approach to deck construction
I’m also wondering this as I already own all the cards for it. Modern is odd though, the card draw goes from bstorm ponder to I think preordain expressive? It’s hard to find good 1 for 1 cards and replacements. The main issue I’m having is with no force of Will I tend to just fall behind in my matches. Trying to trade cards but finally end up running out of answer while not presenting any real threat.
Haha funnily I did the same today and built the deck in paper. I was also wondering about modern and also made a first draft but because the Card Selection Spells in Modern are just so much worse then Ponder and Brainstorm, I think a fair Control Deck (without the One Ring) just can‘t keep up. At the same time though I hope I‘m wrong and someone can still build a viable Version, that gives a similar feeling to Teddy‘s legacy control deck. Thank‘s for the gameplay btw Teddy! Love your Content!

God I love the frog, what a sick card
It's been pretty good to me so far! I'm just not entirely convinced of its place in the deck but I'm close to believing
@@JamesKisau I've been playing it in bug which is quite a different beast, but the tamiyo/bowman/frog/murktide setup has been really impressing me. I had one game I won with a tamiyo ult into a 20/21 frog and after that I was HOOKED.
I know I'm definitely in a different setup than grixis though, I definitely have noticed the lack of kcomm recursion and bolt to close games out, but I've been trying the beans and them + frog are really good at keeping my hand refilled as the game goes long.
