I don't usually comment on videos, but I felt it was necessary to chime in. For anyone who is in need of neuromuscular re-education (virtually the whole population) you just came to the right place. It is apparent to me that Dr. Fields is highly knowledgable and uses a Scientific Approach for prescribing these corrective exercises. You simply don't get that level of expertise with all doctors, so thank you for uploading these videos Dr. Fields.

I have been doing these exercises for about "10" weeks. It actually took about three weeks to help. Which maked sense, given that it is muscle training. But once it did began to work, the difference was amazing--I now sleep uninterrupted! I now do the exercises twice daily. I am a firm believer, in this preventative method! Thank you, for this help--it works!

Going to the ENT tomorrow. I have been dealing with snoring , pitch breaks, onset delays, my throat always feels swollen and it appears that every time I had a baby the throat issues got worse to the point I could barely swallow water. I'm in pain right now and happened to be on CZcams to see if anyone was dealing with the same. I came upon this video and said "what the heck!" and completed the exercises. WOW... Thank you doc! Hi doc - thanks SO MUCH for these videos. I've been struggling with sleep apnea for three years now, eventually leading to a CPAP machine. As I'm 35, I preferred to fix the problem instead of being hooked to a machine for the rest of my life, so I decided to try everything. Once I started doing your V1/V2 videos once a day I'm happy to report I have been sleeping perfectly, only sometimes wearing a positioning device (which is perfectly fine) to help me sleep on my side. My partner does not even hear my snore anymore. So again: hats off to you!

This led to being tired and always needing a powernap throughout the day. After about a week of doing these stretches daily before sleep I am already noticing a difference. I do not wake up as frequently and am more energised throughout the day without requiring a nap. Will continue doing them for sure! Thank you sir!

Hey Adam, thank you so much for these videos. My name is Ethan. I am 20 years old and struggle with sleep apnea. I am not overweight, and I am healthy. I decided to look into a sleep study to see what kind/and how bad I have it. I want to heal the root problems naturally, instead of relying on a CPAP that only treats the problem. When I find out the results of the study I will post them. This is day 1 of trying the exercises from all 3 of your videos. Along with that, I plan on exercising my lungs/ diaphragm with an O2 Trainer, blowing up modeling ballon’s, hiking, and practicing proper tongue placement by MEWing everyday with proper form. My goal is to completely cure my sleep apnea. 4-6 months from now after consistently doing these exercises along with the other training I mentioned I plan on getting another sleep study, so I can see the results on paper and shock my doctors. I will report back when the results of the first study come in, and I will check in once a month to update everyone on my progress. Here’s to better sleeping!🎉

Excellent presentation - addresses not only what to do, but why. These are exercises traditional to the yogic sciences/Ayurveda, which have a comprehensive understanding of what the body/mind really is and how it is integrated and regulated. So pleased to this this coming from a western-trained physician - of course an open-minded DC instead of a Pharma Puppet MD. Be aware that sleep apnea can be caused by many of the hypertension meds. It is fundamentally a dysregulation in vagal tone.

It has now been more than “9” months, since I began the exercises. I have yet to miss a day. I do them in the AM and PM everyday and quite often at midday. I am now enjoying the best sleep of which I have had in decades! These exercises work! At least they have worked for me. Obviously, all persons are a different case. As a trained musician and music teacher, I understand the merits of discipline and consistency. In order to improve, methodology and consistency are required. Please, give these exercises the time required each day. Be patient and consistent. I am not attempting to be preachy or, shaming to anyone. I am just reiterating my experience with these exercises. Thank you, Doctor Fields, this has literally changed my life! Now-if you could only provide advice on helping my (Pit bull mix rescue) Lanny, to behave on his morning walks! Just kidding!

My obstructive sleep apnea was due to a vitamin D3 deficiency. My D3 level was 8. My ND had me take 30,000 IU of Vitamin D3 and 300 mcg of K2 per day. After six weeks, I noticed a difference. After 4 months, my D3 level is at 82 and I continue to take 10,000 IU of Vitamin and 100 mcg per day. I can sleep with no mouth device. I get no headaches when I wake up, and my energy level is increased so I required no coffee. My blood pressure went from 180/130 to 120/75, a nd I lost 50 pounds since I started this protocol. I get my D level checked every 4 month to ensure there is no Vitamin D toxicity level.

It has "15" months since I began the exercises. I do at least "1" of them "2-3" times daily. Some days I employ all of the exercises. I used to have apnea attacks every night. I now sleep through the night, every night. I have yet to miss a day of the exercises. At first I was skeptical. I did not see immediate results but, I stayed with it and results happened. These exercises have worked wonders for my sleep. I understand that results may be different from person to person; albeit, discipline has worked for me. If one is not disciplined, these exercises probably will not work. Do not give up, if you do not see immediate results--the exercises worked wonders for me. It is muscle training! And this is not an overstatement. This is my "3rd" post to report my progress over the last "15" months. To all of the skeptics be patient and do the work!
