Hi Friends, I am Anshul Tiwari, and welcome to our youtube channel ITkFunde.
    More about this video -
In this video, we will understand the most basic yet the most important fundamental entity of networking i.e. IP address. An ip address helps uniquely identify a device over the network. So in this video, we will cover,
1- Binary basics - To understand how ip is shown to us in decimal but the network interprets it in 0 or1.
    2- IPv4 Structure
    3- Types IPv4 classes - Class A, B, C, D, E
    4- Public vs Private IP
    5- IPv4 vs IPv6
I am sure after watching this tutorial you will better understand IP addresses, how it's derived, and classified into various classes. We will dig deep into the IPv4 structure and how it differs from IPv6.

This channel has such great teaching style! I feel this way of teaching should be a model everywhere, especially for teaching the "basics" or foundations of things. This teaching style explains simply, does not skip things to ensure a thorough understanding, and uses great analogies. Thanks to this, I learned how to convert binary numbers into decimal numbers and basics of IPs!
Question ... If an octet has eight digits and the "to the power of" starts with zero, shouldn't the eighth digit be two to the power of seven (0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 -- eight digits)?
