If your mom had a turntable back in those 60s, 70s, and 80s you were scratching up her records... We were scratching up our parents records trying to be djs before we ever heard of djs from NY.. There's no 1 originator.. I use to Dj in the early 80s and back spin and I never heard of Flash or saw him DJ... He didn't teach me how to back spin I saw my big brother doing that in the 70s..
