I mean everyone is a little biased in their beliefs and opinions but the fact of the matter is freedom of speech and expression is important in democratic societies. Right to self-determination and talking about sovereignty is not wrong whether you are biased or not. India's territorial Integrity must be secured.
      Secondly , the Indian Agents who murdered a Canadian Citizen iyn Canadian Should must be strongly condemned. India has no right to murder Canadian Citizens.

    • @rajpreetdandiwal
      @rajpreetdandiwal Před 29 dny

      @@db_0707 First of all I haven't said they are or were real or fake fighters, instead I have not mentioned anything to do with fighting at all. However, coming back to your original question regarding why are Sikhs (mostly people of panjabi ethnicity) aren't asking for land in Pakistan is a clear-cut case of diaspora presence and indigenous rights. Sikhs have the biggest presence in India because at the time of transfer of power from britian to sub-continent's prominent leaders the sub-continent got divided into two nations (biggest blunder in history in my opinion) and the sikh kingdoms and sikh leaders decided to go with India instead of Pakistan and technically Panjab got divided, otherwise if they would have decided to go with Pakistan the panjabi would not have divided and India would not have himachal, haryana, all of that land would have gone to Pakistan with them. Hence they have indigenous right over the land. Moreover even if you forget about all history and internal laws or UN conventions after WW2, in a democratic society if the citizens are treated as second class because of their ethnicity or religion and they are persecuted by the state and them live under constant pressure then it is their right to protest and talk about their sovereignty and self-determination.

    When JT address Khalistanis he pretends as if he is addressing whole Sikh community. This movement is a violent movement not about Sikh freedom as Sikh are free in free India. Khalistanis bombed Air India flight 182 killing 329 innocent travelers plus 2 at Narita Japan in June 1985 and to date only one Khalistani Inderjit Singh Reyat got convicted in Canada. Canadian police and court system failed 331 victims. This lady Rupinder knows nothing beyond that she supports Khalistanis. She suggest that Canada should listen to Khalistanis (Sikhs) to form policy. This is the very reason of conflict with India. There is no understanding in the Sikh community about Khalistan, it is being forced on the community by Khalistanis with the help of JT government.

    The Khalistan Guerilla War started in 1954. The armed part of it was ignited by the Indian Security's Forces Operation Blue Star. The Delhi Ghalughara was a massacre. The body count in this War is estimated at 50,000. Canada is only involved because they inadvertently immigrated some of this into Canada with its liberal immigration policies. Canadians expect people who immigrate to Canada to leave these squabbles behind in their home countries when they come to Canada. Khalistan is an Indian issue, not a Canadian issue. Not at all. Nice try India.
