You’re offering up free hard drugs for people at rock bottom.. if a person is doing drugs and is employed no they are not out on the streets, but they’re one step away. The reason you ban HARD drug use in public is the dangers and crime that fallow. I do municipal work and we have brand new parks built for neighborhood residents and families that became homeless camps with open drug use. They made it legal to camp in these areas and made to leave in the morning, and we had to metal detect and search the area for needles and crack pipes. They trashed and vandalized the park, and residents around the park would get robbed and threatened. We had to start putting Naloxone packets on the fences because there was so many overdoses. We had to stop because it just enabled them to stay in the park after OD’ing.. All those free drugs, open use and naloxone made it 10x worse then what it was. Before giving out free drugs they have to agree to instant rehab and mental health evaluations.

Guys, Canada is big, u will never find jobs (or) be able to afford to live in Canada if u guys prefer just to live in Toronto, Vancouver or Montreal. My suggestion is explore northern Canada, jobs are plenty in those area with no one to work. New immigrants just dont explore outside the box in opinion. I am living example, came as a student, studied & worked median jobs fr 3yrs. Secured a professional job in the 4year and I travelled all across Canada fr opportunities (East,West,North & South). The minute u step outside u will see a bigger unexplored Canada that many new immigrants r missing out.

I never thought a city in Ontario could be considered grosser than Hamilton. Now I have a new defensive statement when someone hates on us “at least we aren’t overrun with rats!” ... just like… mostly overrun with drugs and homelessness and stuff. We have a really great art scene though!

We need 250,000 new workers now! We have to put trades back in school, we have to get fair pay and benefits, we have to kick WCB and the unions to the curb and start new trustworthy agencies! We are treated like crap, we have way more stressful and dangerous jobs than police officers and they get paid twice as much plus benefits and sweet pensions! It's a disgrace! Too many scumbags out there, we need to have stiff penalties for people who abuse the system and the workers. I have been studying this very closely for years and I have written many letters to the government, not 1 single person is talking about the real solutions! This guy actually touched on some great points.

My family moved to Montréal from the largest Greek island Crete in 1965 when I was 9 got a great education worked in mechanical/ engineering design 44 years and simultaneously 33 years as media/wedding and sports photographer as I work with top major sports team’s photographer. I’m now retired and thinking after visiting my hometown in Chania Crete the last 6-7 years I have met people that are offering me teaching jobs in AutoCAD tutoring or even night school teaching sports photography as I have a portfolio in many different sports of 40 years .. I’m proud born Greek and never gave up of my goals as I was the only Greek of 2,000 employees for a tool designer and pattern designer for a Pulp and Paper manufacturing company for 10 years in the 80s. Planning to visit again in October 2024 when schools open and kind of give back to my hometown Chania Crete.. life there is very peaceful with 100 meters to 3 beaches where all neighbours are from different parts of the world bought a house or hotel… 🇬🇷❤️🇨🇦
