Ohhhhhhhh you made the camaflogue joke as I was typing something out 🤣
1 HOUR VIDEO! LETS GO!
1 hour. Bring it
Longer vids? Let me think about........uhh,Yessss! 😆💯💯
Thats a fun way to add style to a bike! Love how you do things so different than others.
That crusty zone by the seat tube / seat stay / top tube junction looks fantastic! Keep crustifying it! Bake it over a campfire! Lay fresh decals over the killer patina!
Adding decals then setting on fire.... you got me 🤔 Thats why I'm subscribed 😂
Love the burns :-)
Love what you did to the frame! 🔥 Sick looking sticker bomb on the fork, as well! Not easy to make it look cohesive and natural, but you did a great job! 😎🤘
I like it dude this how old bikes should be I'm a professional cycle tech
work of art!
blowtorching it was a brilliant idea. im inspired to do it myself in fact. 😄
No mock ups for me. I like to envision the outcome and slap it together. Make my modes on the fly!
It isn't rust causing stuck seatpost it's galvanic corrosion. Aluminum oxide forms on the seatpost and expands. It's an extremely hard substance a 9 out of 10 right below the hardness of a diamond.
Maybe do a controlled patina then spray over with matte varnish as a protective to prevent it going too far and rusting through in time? A bit like rust with love 😊
Lovely frame reminds me of my pink 456 we had to burn the seat post out and the frame broke in the back so we did the same little brace as you did
Didn't fancy getting the chainstays dimpled at the same time as the disc conversion to allow bigger rubber? On the subject of mockups, I never have but as my builds get a bit more out there I'm increasingly finding it takes me longer to get used to the finished article. Next build I'm defo going to try it out.
All my mockups are done in my head, I have a wonderful imagination and because of my autism type I have calibrated eyes that just know what fits and where. That bike looks bloody awesome👌
Pleeease give us some more builds vids..... Also great video as usual for sure!
Will you be building the Raleigh Massif frame you have? :)
