    Brah, the formula in drugstore make up is becoming as good as expensive makeup. Wet and Wild has been one of the best options and they are so cheap!

      My favorite drugstore brands are Maybelline, E.L.F., and NYX.
      Although, I will say there is a noticeable difference in quality between high end and drugstore, especially eyeshadow.
      I use a mix of products.
      Bare Minerals for my face, (a few drugstore highlighters and contours) Urban Decay(And primer)and Nyx eyeshadow, Benefit brow products, elf eyeliner, etc. I like them pretty equally, when I can afford high end products, I’ll try them out, but drugstore is getting so much better. The is no reason to risk my health, and although could be considered vain, my appearance, for some “savings” on a product with unknown ingredients and a name printed onto it. You can even keep an eye out for legit sales(Sefora, Ulta, company websites,etc.) it makes me worried that people do this to themselves

    I had an allergic reaction to one of the Kylie cosmetic knock offs as well. I got hives and burned my lips. Just awful. It was a gift on Christmas from my father. He doesn’t know what happened to me and he’ll never know what they sold to him is a fake. He got scammed and the seller obviously took advantage of him for his money. So that makes me even more upset! I’m a huge makeup junkie and all he wanted to do was surprise me with a bunch of makeup. My father got taken advantage of because he doesn’t know any better. And on top of that I got a horrible allergic reaction. They need to take this off the streets ASAP! SMH

    Interesting how they brushed off so easily the fact that even legitimate brands have harmful chemicals and heavy metals. Of course the urgency is to alert about fakes. I also wanted to add that many companies label and package almost the same product differently to appeal to two types of consumers: those who are more budget conscious and those who only will buy from department stores. Notice how Loreal is similar to Lancome? It's because Loreal is the parent company of Lancome. Also, Estee Lauder owns MAC, Bobby Brown, Clinique,Bumble and bumble, Lamar, and so on.

    I’ve purchased 6 different makeup products (for face) from Wish and Ali. When buying, i check customer reviews as well as valid review photos, and I also contact the seller and demand a photo of them holding the product to make sure it’s the real thing. So far, nothing has made me break out or made me excessively oily or done anything whatsoever to my skin. Either I’m lucky or don’t react a lot to these products like I’m supposed to (in fact, I think one product even improved my skin with time).
    I’m actually wondering though if your body can react negatively without showing any signs of negativity??? Great video btw :)

    You would think the US Customs agents would find more counterfeit products if they went to the same place as consumers go. It's almost like a link in a chain that's broken. The link between the ports where the stuff comes into the country and between the vendors and consumers. The vendors need to be held accountable for buying counterfeit products in the first place.

    • @Cookiemonster456
      @Cookiemonster456 Před 6 lety +2

      Yelena 15 I believe their real. Tjmaxx could get sued if they sold fake makeup.

    • @Catscratch241
      @Catscratch241 Před 6 lety +4

      Yelena 15 tjmaxx sells 100% authentic items. Retailers sell their stuff/TJMaxx buys items that are not selling well and TJMaxx will mark it down so others can afford it and be able to use the product. I have seen expensive brands like Anastasia Beverly Hills and I've seen real Jordan Sneakers at Marshalls.

    • @Cookiemonster456
      @Cookiemonster456 Před 6 lety +2

      The reason why stores like Tjmaxx Nordstrom rack Marshall’s etc. exist is because bigger department stores have too many, have had the item for too long on their shelf, or there is a newer version released.

    • @missymani
      @missymani Před 6 lety +6

      Easlinlove You are showing your IGNORANCE. CHINE MAKEUP DOES NOT EQUATE TO PIRACY. Chinese legitimate brand have the highest quality and sanitary standards. Since 2014 they are allowed to avoid the animal testing if they are distributing directly to other countries. So they might be earn the cruelty free seal. Many American brands produce in china. Even Anastasia Beverly Hills at times has products made in China. The factories will produce EXACTLY what you ask them to, so if the formula is shit it is because you are the one approving it. NOT BECAUSE IT IS MADE IN CHINA MEANS IS LOW QUALITY.
