I think it's more simple. You have manufactured music that groups are given and told to sing. and then there is Big Hit who have their members write their songs about their thoughts, life and emotions at that time . This has made for interesting content, a wide genre inclusion, and thought provoking, relatable lyrics instead of girls dressed like sex workers, singing songs about guys, sex, and bubblegum pop. or guy groups dancing and singing about same. BTS is real, so they appeal to a global market simply by being themselves. When RM say's speak yourself, he won the lottery.

Hard to believe that Korean netizens were (and perhaps still are) so supportive of Min Hee-Jin. It was obvious at her first press conference. Narcissism is sometimes difficult to spot, but her behavior and her control over New Jeans members was very clear.

Something very sneaky did happen with both the trucks and the funeral wreath thing at Hybe. They had too many things in place too quickly for it to have actually been fan initiated. Whomever did it tried to make it look like it was ARMY which really tics me off to no end. Eventually most ARMY caught on to how odd it was but it created chaos and confusion at a critical time. From the start I have questioned if MHJ was covertly positioned to infiltrate Hybe. It makes a lot of sense for SM to position people within Hybe to get insider information. I wouldn't have thought they could get someone so highly positioned... but I think it is possible. Her actions are just so weird. Who attacks an employer that is paying your more than any other executive... and gives you a chance and even helps you finance your own label??? Maybe she IS just weird. Supposedly she was just as hard to work with at SM... and people wanted her gone. But maybe that was just the story to give her cover to get into Hybe. Who knows. Again it's just speculation.... but the puzzle pieces are NOT fitting together for her to only be just a bad executive. There's something more.
MHJ's actions are so bizarre and destructive they are almost unbelievable. The only good thing about giving MHJ her own sublabel is that it focused her efforts on her own insatiable greed instead of manipulating and delaying groups for who knows how many other Hybe sublabels. According to the leaked messages, she literally kicked trainees from groups because her shaman thought they looked possessed. Anyone who supports her at this point is either 13 years old or getting paid.
@@likwid_magma But did it entirely focus her. Do not forget that V's album Layover came out in 2023. So he had been working on it back when she should have been focused on New Jeans. Instead she somehow wormed her way into a collaboration with V as his Creative Producer.... Since she had already by this time decided that she had to "do something" about BTS.... were the problems with the production and rollout of his album any of her doing I have to wonder. The songs are really good.... but you know he writes A LOT of songs.... were these the best mix for his first solo album? Luckily we ARMY really pushed it... ( I'm sure she hated that ).... but could it have been even better with the general public without her input and influence over things like it's promotion?
Tbh i actually believe this. It logically doesn't make sense to bite the hand that feeds you. In this case, the hand that gave you everything you have. We can even assume that MHJ probably told the parents and the NewJeans members a lie about Source Music and Hybe not giving a shit about them to make them unknowingly stay loyal to her, making it easier for this plan to work. It sounds like something out of a movie but considering everything else that has come to light, idk what to expect with this lady.

When the news came out that Min Hee Jin was coming to HYBE and she was from SM, I was already doubtful. That company is so toxic, I will not be not be surprise that she has a deal with someone there to destroy HYBE.
I think it is more the thinking style of SM that is a problem than being active working her into HYBE.
SM treats their artists as products they own.
There is a reason why so many artists and employees have left this year and why that Exo-unit is sueing.
SM has now so many problems of their own that I doubt they care much of what HYBE is doing now - except if they try again to buy stock - but I doubt they will. They have recently sold stocks after all.

@@lexybaginsky I think HYBE higher ups wanted to change the work ethics in KPOP industry by being an example and trying to incorporate people instead of the hate agenda’s of other companies. Unfortunately it didn’t work. I was so worried when they were planning to buy SM. The culture in that company is so toxic.

If ge sucess of BTS were due to hybe or marketing strategies or money, many other groups would have the same level os sucess by now. People can deny all they want, but our young men are special, charismatic, captivating and have a gift. It can't be replicated.

@@ruthfischer7615 Hybe has been trying to grow the market for kpop. I suspect that would be easier if the industry wasn't based on exploitation of minors and slave-like contracts. This is what gives many people a foul taste in their mouth when they look at kpop. Many people simply do not want to support those practices. Hybe is not completely innocent either. Although Hybe is well-known for treating trainees and idols fairly, some of the groups they debut contain members as young as 14.
The dysfunctional behavior and emotional abuse arguably apparent in the MHJ situation shows how much destruction a mentally unbalanced person in a position of power can inflict on an the minors under her control and the corporation she operates within. MHJ believes a shaman's claims to be channeling her dead sister's ghost and has given the shaman hundreds of thousands of dollars. To me, that's a clear indication of some form of mental illness. People like MHJ should be banned from the industry and contact with minors for their own good and everyone else's.

I make up my mind based on experience, I trust BTS and no matter what media might say, I will look at the matter from their standpoint. They left us by asking ARMY to trust them. I don’t understand the parents’ complaints about dirt and cockroaches. Shouldn't those who live in the hostel themselves take care of the cleanliness? or do the ND girls want the managers to clean for them or the BSH himself to come and clean? Cockroaches appear when there is no cleanliness, wet cleaning is not done on time, the garbage is not taken out, and so on. five girls live in a dorm and why don't they take care of themselves? Do they litter themselves and not clean up? This means their parents did not teach them to be neat and organized. I lived in a hostel and I know how this happens. I think that Hybe created conditions for them, yes, at first Hybe put them in cheaper housing, this is the practice, first this group must earn money, then the conditions become better and better. but cleanliness in the housing that was allocated to them is the responsibility of the residents themselves. @@4545-q8c I actually thought of this as well. If you won't air rooms and clean them, this is what usually happens. Noone who keeps the higiene and cleaning standards up suffers these conditions. Conclusion is easy to make. This is one side of the story. Another is that parents didn't react and neglected their children because they love money more then their kids.

Except that was under Source Music before BH/HYBE bought it. Source M was small. There is a reason they came under BH/HYBE.
I think the dorm condition has something to do with weather and climate and I'm under the impression that HYBE - now that they are big - has better conditions.
But even members of Twice and BP - under big labels - have reported coackroches in their dorm.
Seoul is incredible expensive. Labels do have little money and debuting an Idol group is far from cheap. A big label invests over 1 million USD in the debut of a 5 member group including housing and training, promo etc. . HYBE pays more now.
But I have heard from simlar problems in (cheap) apartments in New York, USA. And even a more recent post that you can not prevent something from living in your walls in the USA.
And many people just automatically side with the parents just because NJ is young.
They should clean the living space they occupy.
If that is true why they didn't report the cockroaches to the apartment landlord and Min Hee Jin.

Is Black propaganda illegal? If not, it should be. The same principle of not trusting everything you read applies to world events. My grandson was convinced of something just because he heard it over and over on TikTok. People are being manipulated through propaganda more that I remember seeing in my lifetime.

For some countries like the US they can get away with it no problem it seems. In S.Korea defamation against companies are taken more seriously and having a money trail to trace to a smear campaign is a bigger deal as it's evidence of defamation having said that it still can be difficult to convince a judge if you don't have lots of detailed evidence or the judge favors certain companies (this includes corruption). It's my personal belief that SM & YG has been doing and getting away with this black propaganda for a very long time now possibly decades. Whether they cover up the money trail very well or they have powerful connections which they do in the media & Korean television, they are run by powerful families known as Chaebol that have deep ties even political in Korea.

I'm so very sorry this happened with your grandson. This is exactly why I have a t-shirt that says...... "1984 was supposed to be a warning and not a blueprint." Of course I've known about how the media manipulates people through things like advertisements since I was in high school and we studied corporate and political propaganda. However the internet has allowed it to become so much easier to manipulate people. It is very much the same thing as brainwashing. However now it's not just advertisements, music, etc. It is in the news and places where people converse... such as social media. People end up hearing the same messaging over and over. After you hear the same thing several different times (especially for several different sources) the brain's natural inclination to at least believer "where there is smoke there is fire". But that is not always true. Sometimes it is just fake smoke bombs and smoke machines. My childhood was from the late 60s to when I graduated college in the mid 80s. In the 60s and 70s we were actively telling people NOT TO TRUST what they hear and see. But people are now so trusting of everything that comes over their computers. And these people are so good at making a post or website appear professional or reliable when it is just bunk. We try to still teach critical thinking like this in English, Social Studies, and Science... but I think it is time to have a dedicated course on it that is required to graduate high school.

Even that Nwjns Parents interview, I am sure that interview was from Min HeeJin's mouth. I am only going to believe it if the Parents will release a video of themselves expressly supporting her using those same words. The parents may have shared personal stories or sympathize with her but the way it was written on paper was definitely made by Mhj.. I mean will parents use the words "reverse virality" in calling out Hybe during interview? dont think so. only she can use and know the meaning of that term as she is a branding expert.
HYBE is a business. They operate like a business not an emotional free for all based on who they like that day. It’s all done with contracts, they do no more no less. Seems like people struggle with that.
Seems that people do not understand that HYBE isn't a label at all.
The labels under HYBE choose their trainees/artists, their music and their branding/promo.
HYBE works towards them to make them more effective, to do taxes, to hire cleaners, dorms, legal, managers, etc. .
The briefings on the HYBE channel and e.g. the T&D (Training & Development) vids are a good insight in how stuff works and so is their website.

Almost everything that Hybe supporters were suspecting with the SM and Min Heejin has turned out to be true. It was said that people were acting like it was their job to hate on Hybe and now we know it was true. I think SM also had them attack the new girl groups from other companies and Min Heejin paid the same company to attack for her to hide behind SM's actions. The parents are purposely ruining the business relationship with Hybe along with Heejin. Things are so bad at this point between everyone so now I would understand if Hybe kept the NJ brand up to eventually sell Adore after they get Min's stock back for the full sale profits. Let that whole side be truly distant from Hybe like they want. It's more profitable to sell and frees them from the headache. I think the Adore side also thinks this could happen so thay are suing to stack as much money as possible before the Hybe money train stops.
Jay Park is desperate for attention I refuse to give him. Many of his idols have been leaving his label and he's using Hybe for a cash grab. He even used Only Fans 🙄

I've been considering her 'Sharman' now it's disappeared I'm wondering how long was it a 'Sharman/Conwomaon' now it has loads of her money and had made a right mess who else is paying the 'Sharman'? It's so strange to me. Online, no matter what the context if you bring up HYBE people immediately say it's bad but never give a reason. Like, what have they done exactly? We know the Big 3 have done a multitude of crimes but what are HYBE's sins?
Mold in Korean homes is the norm. I have heard comments from Italians who live in Korea and who have changed several homes. When you call the landlord about mold, he simply repaints the walls. No one does anti-mold treatments. They use the air conditioning like crazy, without airing the rooms, which is why mold proliferates. Another detail from Italians in Korea: it is not easy to find detergents to wash the floors in Seoul, because Koreans usually do not wash the floors. They only vacuum.
HYBE should get rid of NJ and MHJ keeping them will further tarnish his company. NEW JEANS parent is part of this problem too if those girls was coming from a home of cleanliness they would know how to clean up after themselves or since MNJ so much for those girls ,why she didn’t clean up after them?
I don't know what the reach is on those paid misdirection comments, but I wonder if it's reach extends to Instagram. There are so many weird posts I stumble across that are from people that have way more knowledge that a random general public person should have but it also doesn't seem like something coming from a fan because of how deeply they misunderstand other things. Or are trying to get others to misunderstand. And because Instagram isn't a great place for proper discussions, it's just a cesspool of misinformation and people spewing hate towards HYBE for things they aren't even in charge of or arent doing.
Even things like spreading the idea that HYBE is bad for all artists because if they can't fire MHJ yet, then they can't manage their groups and they're the ones bringing hate on NJ for not firing MHJ yet and letting the public hate the girls. Like so many ridiculous outlandish takes that just seemed ignorant at first. Now I'm wondering if it's just to spread misinformation to get more public hate on the company.
Just yesterday a saw a comment talking about how it seems like BTS will only have one more album and one tour when they return and then they'll disband because of how HYBE treats artists and how they seem like they're tired and overworked or some nonsense. A bunch of comments have been floating around with wild takes and I'm seeing how Instagram ARMY are being confused, distracted and misinformed. Especially since most of them don't seem to be on Twitter so Insta is where they get their news and so many of them are deeply behind on everything. It's almost like watching Baby ARMYs even though they claim to have been around for years. It's odd how out of touch with things they are even about the guys. Something as simple as Jin being in the Olympic celebrations as a torchbearer was stuff that some of them had no clue about even after it happened. We really need to get them up to speed better and keep them away from whatever propoganda machines they're engaging in.
Even if it's not a formal body working on Instagram to spread these ideas, clearly independent persons have taken it upon themselves to normalize ridiculous talking points.

The fact that MHJ is claiming that NJ is successful because of her, may show her frustration. MHJ wants to be above Bang Pd and BTS, maybe that was the reason, that she pointed out what she realised with NJ in 2 years, boy groups realised in 5 or 7 years. Guess who MHJ pointed out that time?
What it is really interesting and awkward in the same time is that Korean netizens don't seem to be supportive with MHJ as they were 3 months ago. Still, nowadays are trucks in front of HYBE with messages pro MHJ. She has her own fandom. People are assuming that are NJ fans, but why their fans will send trucks with messages against Bang Pd, HYBE, former CEO, regarding to MHJ?
Even if isn't SM, because we don't know for sure, it might be some other forces, haters, competitors, or whatever that wants to damage HYBE.
This is the time when Army and BTS fans from Korea and around the world should show their love for BTS, supporting Bang Pd and HYBE. Because they are another face of the BTS brand.
I think one thing that I often think back to in April/May was just how freaked out/scared/angry K-ARMY was that lead them to their wreathes/trucks that most of us I-ARMY disagreed with, and most of us were much more neutral/patient in waiting and as time goes on, I really feel it's b/c while they were not persuaded by this negative campaign, they FELT it and basically panicked. I think most of us were just so emotionally removed that we didn't feel any part of that panic that they did - panic for HYBE to give them updates, panic to release info on BTS protection, etc.
So even to those in SK that didn't fall for it (to change their opinion), fell for it in believing the panic that it created.

As much as I don't like hybe, I can't condone the way this woman is trying to destroy the work of what the first members of Bighit did, and those members are not BTS(look them up), BTS also found those people there in 2011- bh started in 2005. I agree that SB19 did pave the way for PPop to be recognized globally. They started from the bottom and worked really hard which is why they give it their all in their performances because they realize the value of hard work, reminiscent of BTS’ journey. Now for Bini, while clearly very talented, I just wish that their songs are more original, i.e. Cherry On Top, is such a Kpoppy song that another Kpop GG could easily take this song and run with it. Even the concept and aesthetics are not original. Their songs in Tagalog are at the very least a step away from the cookie cutter Kpop song - Filipinos are so good at mimicking or copying other artists . . .I just hope that if a PPop group does copy, they use it as an inspiration and put their own spin on it, rather than just being mere copycats.

Im not talking about market cap nor their balance sheet. Im just pointing out the stock price. 230,500 KRW (Apr 19 2024 before the MHJ conflict) and 171,700 KRW (July 26 2024) thats 58,800 KRW diff in 3 months and just way below their IPO stock price 198,140 KRW (Oct 16 2020).
