    I'm a musician and a dj. Nice breakdown. I agree with this. They are both like drum and bass, uk garage kind of genre but totally different. People who comment that is plagiarism. They don't know anything! They don't know art! They comment not just from their music but also their MVS. They just say their opinion based on what they feel but they don't really know how to differentiate the technical side of it to be qualified or considered as a 'copy'

    thanks for your commentary on this. Another reactor said the same thing about COT being like SuperShy, based on the intro. But she emphatically later said that COT was definitely different as the song progressed, and was raving about the vocals, dance and the visuals.
    COT was aimed at the international market to pique interest in BINI. It is the bait that will lead reactors/KPop fans down the BINI rabbithole, where they will be ambushed by the core BINI hits like Karera, Salamin, Pantropiko and Lagi - all Tagalog songs that always hit their mark, no matter the audience. And then if they want to talk vocal and dance skills, the rabbithole goes deeper.

    It's literally the same genre, but not the same song, obviously. As much as you would pick different songs in the same genre, they would definitely sound the same vibes. Now everyone is going to say that it sounds like NJ super shy but only because it is only the popular song that idol fans know that is garage. Lol. Let me know if anyone knows another garage song. If I compare it since I know another one who uses the same genre, it also sounds like PinkPantheress. Also, the genre is not even entirely consistent throughout, there is a rap+r&b break in the middle and how they sang it with sass and power just completely changes the feel of the song. For me, only the instrumental intro at first makes me think it is a copy but once you heard the full song, it did not make me feel the super shy vibes.

    @JKent. Good job on the commentary! If ADOR (a division of Hybe Corp) decides to continue its case against Bini and the ABS-CBN network, it would most likely not win. The first reason is that the Philippines has its own Supreme Court or Sandiganbayan that handles legal issues. Hybe Corporation will try to move heaven and earth to make the Korean court win in their favor. The second reason is that the producers of the song Cherry on Top are multinationals: GG Ramirez, Skylar Mones, Shintaro Yasuda and Boy Matthews. They are also protected by the laws of their own countries. So go ahead Hybe do your best. Eyyy 🤙!

    • @partyeslife8157
      @partyeslife8157 Před měsícem

      wait what? just because you're not from the country doesn't mean you're immune to laws. also depends if there's extradition between the nations. but the way you're saying it is like if you were a criminal, you could get away with it lol. anyways, what you're probably trying to say is that there needs to be some legal basis in order for hybe to pursue it and there needs to be justification and proof. with that said, Bini will be fine

    • @Alfred1974wolf
      @Alfred1974wolf Před měsícem

      @@partyeslife8157 Which is what? Extradition or Extradite? And who is the criminal? Who is specifically immune? Are you sure there is no such thing as "immunity?" What I said is "what if" opinion. Okays? Eeyy 🤙🤙!

    • @partyeslife8157
      @partyeslife8157 Před měsícem

      @@Alfred1974wolf
      Who is the criminal? The accused of course. When it comes to pursuing this, the country they are in needs to see it as a crime. So They can be pursued if visiting said country. Or visiting a country like the US (if they're willing to help out for some reason) and want to pursue some actions against it.
      "Extradition" and "extradite" are related terms but refer to different aspects of the process of handing over a person from one jurisdiction to another for legal reasons.
      Extradition: This is the noun that refers to the formal process or legal procedure where one country (or state) asks another to surrender a person who is accused or convicted of a crime. Extradition involves agreements or treaties between jurisdictions that outline the conditions under which one can request the return of an individual. For example, if someone commits a crime in Country A and flees to Country B, Country A might request Country B to hand over the person through extradition.
      Extradite: This is the verb that describes the action of handing over or delivering a person to another jurisdiction. It’s the actual process of transferring the individual as per the extradition agreement. For instance, if Country B agrees to Country A’s request, it will extradite the person, meaning it will carry out the action of sending the person to Country A.
      So, "extradition" is the process or concept, while "extradite" is the action of carrying out that process.
      In the context of committing a crime in another country, "immunity" refers to legal protections that can prevent a person from being prosecuted or subjected to legal actions under certain conditions. There are a few types of immunity but we can focus on what applies to this situation: Sovereign Immunity: This principle protects state entities and their representatives from being sued or prosecuted in foreign courts. It's based on the idea that one sovereign state cannot prosecute or interfere with the actions of another sovereign state.
      In any case, immunity generally does not protect individuals from all types of legal responsibility, especially in cases of serious or egregious crimes. There are often international agreements and legal frameworks in place that outline how immunity can be waived or managed.
