    Karera MV, Dance Practice and Wishbus Performance next plss!
    -The girl u keep noticing is Sheena, the group's main dancer :))
    -The ones doing the background vocals are usually Maloi, Colet (Main Vocalists) and Jhoanna (Lead Vocalist). Theyre the ones always battling at the end of the chorus xD kinda reminds me of twice's 3mix
    -For the positions, they do have them, but its just for formality. basically every member can sing, dance and rap so it doesn't really matter.
    -Its not much different from kpop aside from the language and culture. They even had Korean trainers come once in a while to train and assess them during their training in Starhunt. They started training in 2019 and trained for 2 years before debuting in 2021.
    I got some recos for your next reactions :))
    PERFORMANCES:
    -Karera MV, Dance Practice and Wishbus Performance
    -Strings MV and Wishbus Performance *(Dark Concept)
    -Lagi MV and Dance&Vocal Practice *(Cute concept,insane vocals)
    -NaNaNa MV and Acapella
    -Biniverse concert solo performances
    -I Feel Good MV and Wishbus Perf.
    - Show it all China (EXO Lay's show) - Karera, Pantropiko, I Feel Good Live performances
    -Cherry on Top live at KCON LA + BINI Tiktok collab with Enhypen & Katseye
    GET TO KNOW THEM MORE:
    -"BINI interview with Karen davila w/ eng sub" (bring tissues, this shi enough to make grown men cry)
    -"Stan Bini-The Series*" by yawns on tiktok (5-part bini core)(chaotic)
    -BINI moments that'll make you think "what's going on inside their minds??" (eng sub) (Funny moments)
    -"Bini Showing Off Amazing Vocals!"
    -"Bini Moments that Crack me Up w/engsub part 1 and 2 on yt (Funny moments)

    Eyyyy! 🤙🤙🤙Thank you for your reaction!
    11:00 That's COLET and paired with her at the center is MALOI. They are the 2 main vocalists of BINI.
    Colet is the base/foundation of the group's vocals. Their queen of harmonization on both low and high registers, does fantastic adlibs. Good rapper too.
    Maloi is the high note belter. Often highlights verses with high note belt. Excellent high note adlibs. She provided that long high note near the end of COT.
    All of them are actually excellent singers.

    One thing I noticed with Filo groups like Bini that sets them apart from kpop is that even though the genre is bubblegum pop they still somehow sound soulful when they sing, and the live vocals are good. I mean they’re filipinos so the vocals’ already given.

Intense dance and vocal training, the final 12 went to another round of training this time with SK instructors, the music academy that trained Purple Kiss, wild right? 😂

There are other BINI Guides as well introducing the members but I like the Chronicles as it dives into who they are and their motivations of why they're doing this. for the next song, I'd recommend 'Pantropiko' it's the song before Salamin Salamin and is the song that slingshot them to fame overnight. And the song 'Karera' which is my fav song from them. They also have Wish Bus performances of their songs which showcase their vocals as well.

For starters, you may check "BINI Chronicles Part 1 and 2" to see official member positions and a little bit about their personalities. But for extensive deep-dive of the group's origin and how it came about, there is a 9-episode (roughly hour-long each) documentary "One Dream: the BINI x BGYO Journey" you can check out.

    Omygod I can't believe I'm 3 days late for this reaction. Hey RJ! I was the one who commented on how to pronounce their name BINI, like the hat "beanie", so glad you got it! 😍 I saw someone already answered your questions, so just want to add that... P-POP training is actually patterned from the K-POP system, P-POP trainees are being trained by Korean instructors/mentors, all BINI members came from audition and they also lived in one house during their trainee days. Also, you're correct,
    the language in the Philippines is called "Tagalog" and yes, "Salamin" is "Mirror" in english. 💕

    • @ma.dolldoll9003
      @ma.dolldoll9003 Před 27 dny

      But they only trained under Koreans for 3 months. They had 6 months training from Filipinos prior to that. And it included vocal techniques from a renowned Filipina vocal coach (which I think is why their vocals are superior). The girls were vocal about the Korean diet not working for them (if anything, they only learned to be more creative in finding ways to secretly eat but I guess it helped with their bonding). They seem to thrive better in a more relaxed collaborative setting with less restrictions like the one they have now. The dance and vocal coaches who travel with them to their concerts are also Filipinos (not Koreans).

    • @claire.tv19
      @claire.tv19 Před 26 dny

      @@ma.dolldoll9003 um okay? I didn't say they weren't trained by filipino trainers, I'm just saying no matter how long it was, they were still trained by korean trainers which is also a factor why they're good, especially the synchronization of their dancing. The strict diet is part of the kpop training, and a lot of kpop trainees did the same thing where they also secretly ate, not just them. Though it was hard, it's part of the discpline and it all paid off.

    • @ma.dolldoll9003
      @ma.dolldoll9003 Před 26 dny

      @@claire.tv19 you used the present continuous tense "being trained" that implies it's ongoing which is not true. They are now being trained and coached by an all-Filipino team. I just felt that it needs to be corrected. As much as they may have tried a KPop training system on the girls, it was just a short phase in their training. They are now under a PPop training system.
      I think that it's also important to note that more than just BINI and their music, the artists need to be credited properly for their work. The global recognition of BINI will also put a spotlight on their training and hopefully if the recognition extends to the Philippines becoming known as an exceptional producer of talents (which is true), it will also give other Filipino artists job opportunities. And by artists, I mean in all different fields like dance, choreography, fashion, make up, music production, etc. So I think it is important to give proper credit. (Hey, even BTS Jungkook hyped his Filipino choreographer when he promoted Seven).
      (I'm not in the industry, but I can imagine that it's cheaper for foreign artists to hire English speaking Filipinos as their backup dancers for their Asian tours instead of traveling with an all-American/European entourage.)
      But that is not to deny that BINI's music and MV may have had inspirations from KPop. (Though if you check the producer credits of COT, they're actually non-Koreans and KPop is also sometimes produced by foreigners.)

    • @claire.tv19
      @claire.tv19 Před 26 dny

      @@ma.dolldoll9003 I said "P-pop trainees are being trained by Korean trainers", I was talking about P-Pop in general not just BINI. Stating my opinion about their korean training doesn't mean I'm discrediting the work of our own. I know for a fact they are now under the P-pop system, I know almost everything about these girl because I've been a fan since their debut days, literally way back 2020. I'm just saying the kpop system has also contributed a lot to their training, whether it was just a short period of time, there's nothing wrong with recognizing that, it was all part of their journey. I'm sorry if you're not getting my point. End of discussion pls and thank you.

    • @ma.dolldoll9003
      @ma.dolldoll9003 Před 26 dny

      @@claire.tv19 Got it. I know SB19 was under Korean management at some point but I know the members were vocal about training each other. They were "self-taught" from the story I heard from their earlier days. Since they were created to entertain Koreans, they likely got language and culture training from them but not sure if skills training was part of it (likely for dancing nga rin). Not familiar with other PPop groups to know if they got training from Koreans and if there are still any PPop groups still currently *being* trained by Koreans. But it's possible nga.
      You're right, there is nothing wrong with recognizing their training from Koreans. After an introduction into the "idol" system, they would likely have a better appreciation for the training and culture they are experiencing here.
      What's important is we're on the same team and supporting our own. PPop rise!
