'Much Murkle' model railway:a guest at Pendon Museum

'Much Murkle' is a finescale model railway built by Nick Wood. In 2019 it was a guest layout at Pendon and Nick talked to Friends of Pendon about it.
Pendon Museum in Oxfordshire preserves the idyllic rural scene and transport of the 1920s and 30s in a miniature form. We provide an enjoyable and informative experience for family groups; for those interested in all disciplines of modelling; and for those interested in 20th Century rural England, its buildings and its railways.

Many thanks for your guess, this is the Dapol model. It has extra detail on the roof and a fully detailed interior. It was also weathered under the late Mick Bonwick’s critical eye.
