  • British Airways Boeing 767-300ER Flight Report + Edinburgh BA Lounge - Edinburgh to Heathrow.
    Join me on board as I fly in a British Airways Boeing 767-300ER from Edinburgh (EDI) to London (LHR) for an international connection to Doha (I will be uploading a flight report for that flight shortly).
    The flight begins in the Edinburgh British Airways Lounge (which I'm fortunate enough to have access to even though I was flying on economy because I have One World Emerald status (Qantas Platinum).
    Over all, it was a pleasant flight. It left a little behind schedule but we made the time up during the flight and landed at Terminal 5 where I connected with an international flight.

      Agreed. I purposely got a 767 for this reason. Qantas have retired all of their 767s so there no passenger ones flying in Australia any more (other than possibly Air NZ flying across the ditch).

      Thanks mate. The best thing about long-haul aircraft operating short flights is that they don't have to carry much fuel so the acceleration is more noticeable. I've just flown on BA125 and there's a short 30min leg between Bahrain and Doha (B777-200) and the takeoff was very short and fast.

    I have done that flight in reverse, from Heathrow to Edinburgh. I had expected Edinburgh's airport to be far bigger, but apparently most of the bigger flights go via Glasgow.
    Thank you for the film.

      Paul Stewart I did consider it, but I prefer the A380 for long haul flights. The 787 is beautiful though, but too small for me personally on long hauls.

    • @PaulStewartAviation
      @PaulStewartAviation  Před 7 lety +1

      Fair enough. I love the 787 but there's no doubt that the A380 is a comfortable aircraft to fly in. They're so smooth and quiet! Let us know how your flights are! :)
