Here's a generic tip for anyone who might not be consciously aware of it. You should be relentlessly tracking the enemy with your eyes. Don't look at your red dot or iron sight. Track them with your eyes consciously as they move, and your thumbs will do the rest.
When I get lazy and start shooting poorly, often it is because I've become lazy with my eye tracking during long sessions since it takes quite a bit of concentration to do it 100% in every single gunfight

So I took off my -5/ precision curve on my edge controller and completely switched to these settings based off this video.
Fov down to 110 from 115
Fov aim scaling off (was on)
Black ops aim assist (was default)
Aim after zoom (was instant)
Aim curve dynamic (was dynamic)
Slope down to .24 (was 1.0)
It’s legitimately like I’m playing a completely different game. For the first time my guy is aiming where I want him too. I even have a clip of me shredding someone from 5 meters with a taq eradicator and while downing him his team mate ran across his body and my aim assist completely moved onto his team mates chest for me. It actually looked like soft aim lock.
I’ve spent weeks toying with setting for literal weeks. So I’m not just talking out of my ass for anyone who sees this comment

Thank you for your videos. I was wondering if you are aware of the issue some people are having (including myself) where the sticks feel slow and unresponsive in game, especially the right stick. For example when I’m in the firing range or with bots my aim will be nice and snappy. But then in game it’s like the sticks are completely slow. It’s very frustrating. I’ve tried high sensitivity but the initial response to input on the right stick still feels delayed. I play with low deadzones and on a respectable pc (3080, 12700k, 32gb ram) and fast, wired internet. It’s such an annoying issue.

Hi D. Nice contents, in the last part have you mentioned about low ping and 0 packet lost. It is happen most of the times with ping at 8 at no packet lost, it loosing most of gunfight. I play from a good spec pc and ps5. Have you got any help for this 😅😅😅
Hi! There are multiple reasons it happens and one of them is your ISP or your Router settings, I'd cover them in a video fully based on this as it needs step by step tutorial!
I learned using a controller two months ago with a precision ring since I felt without tension the rs feels shaky. I can't play without it and I play at 20-20 and play better than my team mates who have been using controller for years.

@@DanielZH ..=( coult you give me any tipp for how to fix it? the only 2 thing that i could find that help is soft reseting the Console but its kind of an hustle for i would say 2 - 3 hours of gameplay that works smoothly, and the other thing is to reconnect the console to the router + restart the game, but thats helping only for 2-3 games at max! then out off nowhere back to square one laggy stutter game.. Im on Xbox One X btw.

Hi Daniel, thanks for your content! so for me playing with fov 110 is it better to keep fov scaling active to have better aim assist? and then, I reversed the L keys with the R keys, to aim and shoot, with the classic PS5 pad does it create input lag?
Hi, having it off will cause less AA from the last test I made, about the keys if you change in PS5 settings it's the same delay.

Hi, if you changed to L1/R1 with swap in game, it's better to not do that and instead change it in console accessibility settings. for faster response.
I use 15-15 as well on dynamic with default aa and instant 1.00 ads. But sometimes my tracking feels sluggish so I boost my ads to 1.05. Should I just lower my dynamic slope instead or ads transition? My aim feels sluggish first few games on only after that it feels smooth.
@@Imcrimsoncuh lower your slope scale. The lower the faster your aim gets. I play on dynamic and 0.60 is great for me anything way to low, I over aim and anything higher I come up under. But I also use the advanced setting for horizontal and vertical.
Hi, 15-15 sounds much without precision rings though, however, yes, I'd suggest lowering the Slope Scale that helps a lot.
@@DanielZH thanks will give slope scale a try. Used to play 20-20 1.80 ads I’m used to fast sense. I think that’s why 1.00 ads feels sluggish sometimes .

What does weapon fov do like and can I use the rings with kontrolers freaks?
If independent is selected for that part, weapon FOV is locked at 80 and the other option will make that a bit closer or further, independent from the main FOV.
I couldn't use them with Thumbcaps, they weren't smooth that way.
@@DanielZH I meant the size of the gun it's in the fov settings I understood that it makes the right stick aim assist bubble bigger like the bigger the gun the more rs aim assist you get just like the difference between default and black ops

Just wanted to add my two cents,
One of the main things when it comes to aiming in cod, is "centering", simply put, it's the ability to keep your crosshair pointed to where you think the enemy will be, and it should on average be always on the centre of your screen. This is the reason why pro players mostly play between 4-7 sens with an fov of about 90-103. Both high sense and high fov, make centering much harder to do consistently. Once your centering and movement is on point, you could literally slide cancel and chall people on headglitches easily and win gunfights.

For the dynamic response curve slope scale is 31 like linear ?
like the way linear becomes faster overall, dynamic does too, that boost of reversed S curve is still there.
I think there is an error with ur field of view + aim assist measuring
You say, that with lower FOV, your aim assist becomes stronger because with higher FOV, you get faster out of the aim assist bubble
But the thing is, the higher your FOV is, the faster becomes the sens.
If you play 6-6 on 120 FOV, you need something like 8-8 on 100 FOV to make a same full 360 degree in time. So yeah, of course with the same sens, the aim assist will be „longer“ on a lower FOV because the same sens is actually way lower on 100 than on 120. Jgod made one time in WZ1 a calculation of different FOV, how u need to adjust that. We always looked how the pros can play on 6-6, while we were on ps4 in verdanks time where we were locked at 80 FOV and 6-6 was way too slow for that. On 80 FOV, even 10-10 was slower than a 6-6 on 120.
Do a test again, but with adjusted sens. For that, just push your stick to a fixed value of 20-50% and count the time how low you need for 5x 360 degree rotations with 120 FOV. And after that, try again with 100 FOV. there will be a big difference in time, but u will have numbers and you can calculate the adjusted sens for lower/higher FOV.
Yes, thanks for sharing the tips, that's why I'm about putting it in test in a way that both match in a 360 degree so we can find how much change we need based on FOV change.
If u wanna do some crazy testings. You should try and test how steam controller deadzones affect aiming/AA in CoD. Apex legends pros like Dezignful claims it's good and uses it. Would be interesting to see if there's a benefit in CoD

Hi, depends, the last time (last year) we tested that using a headphones with Controller didn't increase input delay, but decreased it in some cases.

Although it's personal preference, almost all pros use a sensitivity from 6-8. It increases your mid-to-long-range accuracy enormously compared to a high sens like 16-16 in the video
I use a sensitivity of 7, the one that's shown on this video was based on using Aim Assistant Rings (which makes it harder to move)

i think screen size does matter like if someone is playing on 27 inch monitor will be okay with 7-7 or 6-6 whereas on a 65 inch tv 7-7 would be slow i play 16-16 on 65 inch tv

Hi brother... Great video as always... What settings do you think will give you the most aim assist between the 2 following options? A) sens 15-15 with ads multiplier value of 0.65... or B) sens 10-10 with ads multiplier value of 0.95? I play on Xbox X, elite controller 2, 120 fov, 120 FPS, 1080p resolution,resp curb linear, 0 min deadzone on left and right stick, max deadzone 99 on right stick, and 55 on left stick. I have never found a clear answer on this...
While it is also preference, 95% the competetive players (that play in tournaments) play between 6-8 sens.
The problem with higher sens is that your centering will never be as accurate as a lower sens player. This doesn't matter as much as long as your opponent isn't that good, but once you verse better players they will simply have an advantage because of lower sens.

Hi, I personally use linear with 7-7 and 0.55-0.65 ADS. slope scale 0.31. the settings on this video are for after using Rings.

I have an elite controller with sticks set to max tension...so I had to go up on sens...I am curious to understand what triggers the most the aim assist between high ads multipl or low

@@pobastreamtwitch6714 As far as I know, sens is the same regardless of platform. If you measure the time for a 360 degree turn it will come out the same.
Fps is independent of game speed, so has no effect on sens.
I just tested on PC, and can tell no difference between 60 to 120 fps. Sure, it's smoother, but the speed stays exactly the same.

I tested it back to back, I use a oled 360hz 1440p but I can select 4k 120hz cuz it has hdmi 2.1, and with that I get lower input lag than selecting 1440p 120hz output in ps5
Hi, the picture input delay is various based on the monitor model, however the controller input lag was measured lower when the resolution was set to 4K 120Hz regardless of the monitor model or connected screen.
So what would it be for me if I play on 9-9 120 fov
a bit lower sens on higher FOV will make it feel as strong as lower FOV, for example try 8-8.

Hi, I found lowering the sensitivity a little bit may help if you use very high FOV, for example if I have 8-8 for FOV 80, I'd use 7-7 for FOV 120 (just example) however I need to further investigate this with a new kind of test and will share the results in a new video.
Do you recommend precision rings or not?
So far I like them, the soft ones though, but need to play more and more to see how it goes, my aim is better now overall.

Ads multiple doesn’t work properly i play 10 10 1.0 ads and my ads is still lower then my hip so it's not correct
1 isn't 1:1, that's why, you should go higher to make it a 1:1 ads.

you really should NOT use precision rings. yeah they’re great at first, but once they start wearing down, you lose the most important thing … muscle memory. your aim will start always feeling different

Hi, as per other settings I have, it works the same as 0-1 right now, I just kept it that way to notice changes if COD updates that in a way or another so I'll be aware to warn others, currently it works the same if Deadzone is 0 and trigger effects off.
