For everyone playing, don’t forget to play lament of the storm in front of taka’s grave to achieve a trophy
I did without knowing there would be a trophy, I just wanted to pay respect. Taka died bravely, I mean he swung the sword at Khan, thats some courage.
panasony23 same thing happened to me
@@panasony23 same lol
I did not know that
Oh... where is his grave again?
You have to agree you wanted to kill every Mongol and straw hat in a 3 mile radius after taka died
Gotta slaughter them all !
Agree. I felt the urge. I usually challenge Mongols and Straw Hats to a stand off first, to give them a warrior death. After this scene, no more warrior's death for them. Ghost Mode.
They deserve to suffer.
Will do
You should've seen me when the Foxes where killed, Massacred every mongol in the way 😂😂
Yup
To me , shimura is a stubborn old dude , jin is a ninja that do everything for his home , ryuzo a man chose family over a homeland , taka .....a true samurai
I’d choose my family over my homeland any day. Now I wouldn’t go as far as ryuzo, but I’m just saying I can understand why he did it
Thank you handsome Jack
Lol, Yuna talking about how she can finally live on the mainland with her brother. Then Taka shows up on this mission "wanting to help". Was so obvious his fate was sealed at that point, but still didn't make seeing this any easier.
I knew he was gonna die from how much she was trying to defend him in everything and how she always talked abt him but damn bro I still didn’t want it to come
It's so painful knowing that they were literally ONE day away from freedom and he dies in the last hours.
I like how Jin ends up avenging Taka with the same fatality but cleaner.
Ye. Khotun Khan literally ripped the head off
That is true justice
i think it was a way to show that the ghost brutality was not the same as mongol brutality, the ghost wanted to terrorise enemies, killing everyone who wanted to kill him, mongols terrorised tsushima killing innocent people
also, showing that jin was not the same as his enemies,he killed the ones who harmed the innocent
Wish there was more dialogue with the Khan, it piqued my interest when he mentioned living in his family's shadow. Grandson to Genghis Khan...I wonder the pressure he must have felt to live up to such legendary expectations.
He was probably talking about how kublai Kahn was so much more powerful
Fun Fact: It was actually Kublai Khan that invaded Japan in 1274, Khotun Khan never existed.
He's still an interesting character and villain plus the game is more like historical mythology
He was such a loser…
@@Foogi9000 which is funny because Khotun says he will be remembered, ans Jin says he won't.
Just remember, folks: Khotun didn't cut Taka's head off cleanly. He had to rip it from his body afterwards. Poor Taka might've still witnessed all that agony.
I think he died immediately after Khotun hit him with the sword
When someone is decapitated there still briefly conscious for a few seconds so taka might have felt some discomfort when getting decapitated
@@JoeRoganTheBald ah yes *discomfort*
@@JoeRoganTheBald *discomfort* Yea maybe
*Taka dies*
Me: I hate it
*Yuna arrives*

Taka shoulda just impaled Jin cause we can use 2 Resolve to revive
And in Lethal and Hard mode 3 Resolve
Majestic comment, you should get more likes. Btw it's 3
@@everardives2745 I think that is in Lethal mode
@@reduxg3889 nope in hard mode too
@@nightmarston2156 ok
Taka didn’t know that
I think this is the point jin snaps and says fuck it im the ghost now
Yep, sad to think that when Lord Shimura meets his nephew again, it ain't the same Jin he knows
Its kinda symbolical you know. When he took his sword from the mongols and went to the bridge to fight with Khotun Khan, the Khan throwed him off the bridge. This is the second time that Jin "dies". I cant explain it properly because im not so fluent in English but if you think about it there is a meaning
This may be the moment Jin snapped. But as the player, my point was when my horse died.
@@kristiyangrigorov5232 hey that’s almost perfect english and i also understand what you meant. btw just one thing it’s threw and not throw. just if you want help 😁
When Taka was brutally killed and when my horse Kage died...why you do me like this, why?
Also when you have to fight shimura
As someone who has always been told to hide or run his entire life, I think Taka's last words were going to be, "Tell Yuna I didn't run." In his last moments, all he wanted to do was make his sister proud.
Because of this scene, I was so pumped to kill Ryuzo that I ended up taking no damage whatsoever.
Me too, the guy fucked me up in the first encounter tho, I was playing in hard mode and that was the hardest duel I had to face at that point, I lost count how many times he killed me. But then I was fucking flawless when I killed him the hatered I had for Ryuzo surely helped in that fight.
@@ashwinc3789 you damn right, I felt the same thing
He broke the rules of homies
I took it to another level and killed kotun khan with no damage too
@@mahmoudhelal4191 S A M E
Jin Sakai: The Batman of Tsushima
Batman doesn't kill but Jin kills them all.
Ratchapong Na Songkla well that’s a different era from now, fists only work on criminals, not military invaders.
Jin is Japanese John Wick
Seems similar with the "batarangs" and fear-multi takedowns.
Arkham Series thugs: It's the freakin' Bat!
Mongols: It's the freakin' Ghost! (except they say it in Mongolian)
While Takas’ death itself is sad, what makes this even more heartbreaking was when Yuna starts questioning her brothers location and.... well the rest plays out hauntingly
We all have seen so many decapitations in games since who knows when. The fact that, the only decapitation scene in this game is so shocking, shows how they created something truly emotional, that captivated us.
Definitely isn’t the only decapitation scene in the game
Literally when I killed Khan when Jin impaled him with the sword I said “This is for Tsushima!” then when Jin was about 2 cut his head off “And this is for Taka!”
Was happy and surprised Yuna didn't put blame on you ..especially how your uncle kept demanding more and more from them before he agreed to help them leave
She’s loyal
She realised that Taka died being brave and making his own choice
Reaching this scene made me realize that this should have been the part they introduced the Ghost Stance, it would have been way more badass and emotional IMO.
Omg So true
Would've felt too anime in my opinion
@@hoti257 the whole game is anime
@@fallenIights no, it's not. Not everything japanese is automatically aNiMe
@@daddychill02 why
This definitely left an impact on me as well.
Taka's death and the scene where Yuriko passes away really got me.
Brooo this lowkey broke my heart lmao taka didn’t deserve that man 🙁 went out like a g tho
Me too!!!!
In the face of death Taka, just the humble blacksmith running all his life from danger, refused the Khans request and died for it.
Where as Ryuzo, a tarnished Ronin who was once a Samurai, buckled easily to the same request saying it was for his men. Yet when Death came knocking on his door, his men meant little more than an excuse he could use to beg for his life.
Taka was more braver than most of the characters in this game, like a true Samurai.
In reality, Ryuzo wanted to take revenge against Jin for beating him in a duel years ago.
"Was Taka brave in the end?" He was always brave." That had me in tears.
At least he didn't die by a gold clubs
Joel in one am i right?
No matter how prepared you think you are for the death of a loved one, it still comes as a shock, and it still hurts very deeply 😣😣😣 Watashitachi no hotondo wa, umarekawatta toki to onaji kurai nesshin ni henka shi, onajiyona shokku jotai de henka o keiken shimasu 😯😯😯

I applaude Taka for being that brave, attempting to strike the Khan. If it was me, i would have ran to Jin immediately and cut him loose so we'll be free together.
But anyway r.i.p. Taka
Nice pfp bro
Man this was a SUCKER PUNCH to the gut.
Srsly though,
Man I miss Taka, I would trade the cool gear for his safe return
I almost thought it was my fault for naming my horse Kage for shadow, maybe if I named him Sora the game wouldn’t have been so dark
And your horse get to meet donald duck, mickey mouse and goofy
Yeah but then you’d have to look for the key blade and fight a bunch of guys called zoltan or something... trust me it’s better this way
CantDestroyHer I see why they added that name in, a part of the game almost Is about friendship and discovering yourself
I felt like taka was a part of my family and wanted instant revenge. SP did a masterful job of making you feel this story. ✊🏾💯
I like the fact that you have the option to have the mask on or off during cutscenes

But do you guys seriously think the Khan would let him
R.i.p Taka.
A hero.
If this game was made by Naughty Dog, you'd kill all the Mongols, only to let Khan go free at the end.
ND's reasoning would be "because this isn't what Taka would have wanted for you."
Such an original comment, you made the whole planet laugh
@@GiorgosAigio96 if only it could take away peoples' sorrow....
Khan is Abby
Khan at least attempted to reason abby just killed Joel with her overdose of steroids
@JamesHLanier fair point and did I just get murdered by words at the end
If i was Taka , i would cut the ropes , and let Jin fight Khan
@Akshat Wahi dont blame taka blame the writers
SKRTz Teeto I would’ve went behind Jin, acting like I was gonna slit his throat, and then cut the ropes and give him the sword

It's so awful to see that the one who died was the guy who deserved it the least.

This happened and then nobu died and that was it for me man I couldn’t take it.
Warp Studio same I screamed
I was so emotional I never even bothered to take the subtle approach in my escape.
I just butchered all the Straw Hats face-to-face.
I've seen that khan in a movie 'Night at the Museum'..
I wish ND wrote this, make the khan do the thing he did and then at the end of the game, you spare the khan and the khan learn the error of his way and started the intergalactic space Disney corporation and become hokage, of the soul society

Poor taka he was a loyal black Smith who served Jin with no desires of fame why some times innocent people deserve bad fate like taka
I guess thats war is
I like how Jin can handle getting struck by a metal sword while him can't even stand a wooden sword
This transition from dark to darker was quicker than what nge did with episode 15 to 16
CMIIW, when he decapitated Taka, the blood spread around Taka's nose and mouth. But when he show Taka's head, the face looks clean as new. There's a mud too, around them while doing all this.
I used the Ghost stance after this scene. It felt great and hit hard.
Playing the song at Taka's grave made me feel sad af
When i see that red armor, it suddenly reminded of samanosuke akechi's armor from onimusha 1.
And Tom Cruise samurai armor in The Last Samurai
I’m tellin you! Oni would be FIRE if made correctly
I was heated when he killed taka. Really put me in jins shoes and made me wanna kill them Kahn
I was so mad that i didn't use the ghost stance against the straw hats i used it against ryuzo
Am I the only one that thinks taka would be an excellent samurai?
Yuna screaming and blaming Jin was the saddest part
Great scene, however when Khotun handed the sword to Taka I knew what would happen.
THEY DESERVE
NO
MERCY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
the most shocking scene here is Jin not noticing Ryuzo's nodding in time to dodge the guy behind him.
I knew it was coming but-man 🤯
6:46 Badass.
Didn't beat the game and can't look at everyone's comments due to possible spoilers. But I gotten past this part and finding out Ryuzo turned on Tsushima and killing citizens has to be the most shocking scene
I don’ know why but it kinda pissed me off when he sneaked around instead of standing off. I really don’t know why but it did
Man was so pissed he just wanted to kill people right away, I would have done the same thing.
yes, it's lame
I kill them brutally with anything I had,
bomb, kunai, exolosive arrow, then ghost stance
Ryuzo seriously looks like the guy who played as the Axe Gang leader from Kung Fu Hustle.
Anyone else noticed Jin trying to help Taka by kicking his sword to him?
It was so stupid , he had the sword in his hand , Jin was almost free , he could ve cut Jin's rope and give him the sword. The Game would've been Finished then and there.
Taka wouldn't die
Uncle Shimura and Shogun wouldn't had banned Jin.
Khotun khan would have stopped him before he did tho
Cool theory tho
@@Tessaaaaaaaaa Naaa ... See he was told to kill Jin.
He should ve acted like he is going to betray and kill him , then slowly move towards the back of Jin , while acting like He wants to kill Jin as he is a coward , thwn within a second , slices the katana through the ropes and throw it to Jin , and we get an Epic 1 on 1 Duel b/w Sakai & Khan.
IKR!!!
Swaran Singh How can he walk to Jin’a back and cut the rope? Hello? There’s literally a pole there!!! Any sane man would now Taka’s up to something and in Khotun Khan cause is very unlikely
@@huannguyenthieu8989 @@huannguyenthieu8989 You dumb son of B....
There's obviously a pole but Jin's hands are not Welded to it. Jin already made the knot loose before khotun khan came up to them.
And these people know their way around swords . Thats their way of lifestyle not like you jobless man living in his parent's basement.
They know their way around the swords.
Khotun ordered him to kill Jin , while he was standing way behind.
Taka needed to go closer to *(acting like he is apologising for letting him down)* Jin to kill him and then , it would take hardly 2-3 seconds to cut the ( already loose ) rope with a Sharp Katana.
Just bcz you're dumb his incapable of such theory doesn't means its not possible.
Straw Hat: "Time for revenge!"
*Dies a second later*
Aren't we gonna talk about the fact that Khotun khan and the mongols ate a horse?
Why is that surprising lmao
People still eat horses today.
Reminds me of the Dothraki
Mund 465 The Dothraki from Game of Thrones are based off of the mongols, so that’s probably why.
It is not irregular in Mongolia or any nomadic settlement at this point to eat things like horses. In fact, it is common place. Also, you could say the exact same thing about all the beef chicken and pork you and me eat that could be considered irregular from a certain point of view.
Sucker punch aint called sucker punch for nun
I feel like that mission where jin earns the ghost stance should have happened after taka’s death
Introducing Ghost stance after Takas death would have been way cooler and more impactful than at the siege of Yarikawa. (Imo)
This was sooooo sad, I felt it.
When Taka died, Vergil motivated me and told me There will be blood shed. After that, I just stood there and realize, I made the mother of all omelettes here.
Idk if anyone will see this but man, sadly this scene or at least the scene after Taka's death was ultra funny to me because I became a floating sword as I saw my player model playing the flute in the background to change the weather to rain
When I got to this scene, I seriously thought its going to be a bad end. But I quickly searched at google, and it calmed me down. I must've been traumatized by odyssey's bad ending.
*NOOOOOOOOOO* I FORGOT ABOUT THAT
I screamed when Taka didn't just cut his ropes !
RIP Taka very tragic death
A Shirrako video without the spoiler in the title? 2020 really got us fucked up huh
This moment made me really angry. I don’t think I’ve ever played a game that made me feel as many emotions as this game. Also, the music during this part also really does it.
Taka's having a hard time walking around with such huge balls.
Bruh idk why but when the khan is getting stressed out after his last attempt to convince Jin to join him is just funny to me lol
The Kahn was an amazing and fucking intimidating villain
Somehow after this scene I feel I no longer want to play tactical sword play when we fight with a bunch of mongol and ronin, also when fighting Ryuzo, I just want to eliminate all them very quickly. They created emotion in us
Hmm wonder if Taka had just cut Jin’s rope that had him stuck to the pole and gives him the sword, what would the khan have done then lol
That was a very strong and powerful scene to endure…no one expected that to happen but it further solidifies khotun khan as a truly ruthless killer.
it'll be cool if we get yuna as bossfight BUT just for half of her health we're done fighting
Ikr
Ryuzo should accept the peace terms offered by Khotun Khan to avoid more bloodsheds
This was sad, but I thought it was worse when my Kage died😫
meanwhile in tlou2...
We're still waiting for death stranding 😁
She really checked my mans pulse 💀
Ryuzo just wanted to be a leader due to insecurities. His poor upbringing made him like that.
Top 10 anime tragedy
This is better than fukking Hollywood movies.
After this scene, I have to make it painful and brutal for Ryuzo and Khan.
ONOREEEEE RYUZOOOO!!!
Beast Mode Activated
999999 Emotional damage
Wrong - saddest moment was when they killed my horse!!! 😫
You mean the samourai killed your horse
The most shoking moment for me, is when the Jun's horse die...:(
Does anyone else think Khotun Kahn looks a little like DSP or is it just me?
Stop. I see it now and that’s all I can see
Why didnt taka use the sword to cut jin free? 🤦♂️
This scene reminds me of walking dead negan scene
he taka his head off
