'Transpo 50' cavalcade, Museum of Transport Greater Manchester, October 2019

The start of the Museum of Transport Greater Manchester 'Transpo 50' cavalcade, 19 October 2019. I was piloting Rochdale 235.
Yes I know some of the buses are smoky - we'd only just set off and the engines were cold. With these old design of engines, smoke is inevitable until they warm up - even idling doesn't really do the trick, they have to be used under load for a few minutes and then the smoke clears, as it did shortly after this video was taken.

Mancunian bodied buses , they were good to drive in service , especially on the 53 route .
