Heck yes. I didn't sleep well and did not feel like tackling any of my existing works that needed more thought and detail. How easy to pick my favorite colors and shapes and just calmly fill up a page.

Ty so much for this! I have chronic pain and often can’t think or do much. I will definitely try this out! As for blowing smoke up someones butt: they literally used to believe that if someone drowned they could revive them by literally blowing smoke up their ass. I wish I was making that up lol

I have spent my entire summer painting…
Painting the house…😩
I started with the rumpus room downstairs, all the walls, trim and doors…
Then went on to chalk paint a bench and four chairs to my kitchen table set…
Why stop there…I just finished chalk painting my entire staircase!
I love the results but with having Fibro and arthritic spine problems, I have wrecked my body!
I have watched all your videos and have bought your pallet and brushes…
Can’t wait for all the home reno painting to be done so I can just get back into sitting in comfy chair painting!
Any kind of painting feeds the soul I say!

I picked up some 140 lb cold press and punched holes in it to add to my homemade sketchbook...crazy holes I punched and snipped till the world looked level, got 15 pages packed in. Now I will paint with you cause I'm a booky kinda girl...so excited 🙃😋😎

A while ago I took my pack of loose paper (and the cardboard that came with it to keep it straight during shipping) to Office Depot to have it punched and spiralized. It turned it into a pretty journal with a sturdy cover and end page 😁

I do something similar. I usually paint with oils, and to get started I often just mix some paint into a nice colour and smear it over a cheap canvas from the dollarstore. It's just something about playing around with the paint, to feel the texture and the scent of it, the feeling of smearing it around on a surface, that triggers a childish joy to create. 😅 In best case i make a nice painting, but worst case scenario is that I have a bit of fun for whatever time I've decided to set aside to do this. 😊
