Very nice job creating the video. Thank you for posting it. It is great to see young people take interest in these incredibly well-built machines. I have been collecting, restoring, buying, selling Wheel Horse machines since the early '80s. My first one was a `1971 Raider 10, which I spent an entire winter stripping down to the frame rails and did a full restore. I was very proud of how good it looked that I became hooked. That's a great machine and set up nice. A little advice, spend more time when you do a paint job. Preparation is everything. Pick up a cheap LVP spray gun and start with some single-step enamel paint (pre-mixed). Use sandable filler primer and use several coats, pausing 15 minutes between coats. Then sand it as smooth as you can get it with some 600 grit on a DA sander. Let it dry for a couple of days and then put on the topcoat in multiple very light coats with about a 15-minute break between coats. I put on four coats, maybe five, then wait for an hour or so and clear coat it. Have lots of fun! Also, purchase as many attachments that are in decent shape as you can afford as they are becoming extremely valuable
Gorgeous restoration. You can get the under seat decal that the seat springs sit on. It will save the paint on the pan so the springs don’t scrape up the paint. Redo Your Horse has them. It’s like a thick plastic decal. I need to paint my air cleaner cover, yours looks great!
@@SingleBottomBoys hi man I have a wheel horse 520 , I want to change the oil , do you have any videos on how to change the oil ? also what model oil filter I need ??
Very clean machine
