  • Last weekend's video, we changed the oil and filter. This weekend, we get the tractor and deck ready for serious mowing by greasing everything and using my favorite Lock N Lube, tips and how to install the 48" SD deck.

    Awesome! Thanks for the video! I'm looking at getting one real soon and have been soaking up all I can on the attaching system and maintenance points. This video was great for showing the grease points!

    Nice! Just slapped my 60" on a week ago and ran the front grass down. Getting lots of rain this year.

      We are too, pretty wet here. The 60” has to be awesome, great deck. Hope you’re doing well!

    Wish I could muscle my 60" deck around like that! Read that you are supposed to be able to drive over the 60" and then attach but that has never worked for me. Good mowing this season!

      I've always wanted to picked up a 60" deck, but after heard they are close to 300 pounds, not sure if that's true, but the 48" is enough for me. Thanks for watching!

    I didnt know there is a grease zirk at the steering assembley, this might make my life easier while maneuvering!

      They hid that one, definitely makes a difference steering.

    Craig, thank you for all your Wheel Horse videos! Can you do the opposite, please? When it comes time for you to take your deck off and put on your plow, can you show how to do that, please? I bought a 416-8 with the plow attached in the spring. I took off the plow and put on the deck, but now I don’t remember how to put the plow back on

      Yes I can, sounds good. I probably have some tips to help you speed it up. Great idea.

    Great video Craig! Do you know the part number of the center spindle for a 48” deck for my 520H? Also the idler pulley and spring. I need the side drive belt pulley as well.. any help is welcome!

      I don’t, but I would check out Red Square Wheel Horse forum. They have all the parts manuals free in their sticky threads.

      I agree, really good solid attachments. Made from thick steel and high quality bearings.

    Wondering if you know where to get a hood for a 268H? I've scoured the internet with no luck, and it seems to me that if anyone knows how to find discontinued parts, it would be you

    • @CraigArndt
      @CraigArndt  Před 11 měsíci

      I would join a Facebook wheel horse group and check there. A lot of people hoard their wheel horse parts and they never see the marketplace, Craigslist or eBay. I’d also join Red Square which is a wheel horse forum. They’re on FB too, but the website captures all those people that aren’t on FB. Hope that helps.
