As far as I know, French back packs were made calfskin. I paint mine Vallejo flat brown with white highlights for the calf skin effect. I have seen other painters do the calfskin pack MUCH better that I do, but my method works for me. Have fun and be well.
Howzat ! I just did 2 units of these last week . I used Tan Earth and Field Blue for the Greatcoats . I also added a bit of Green stuff to make them have 4 figures with plumes each for Grenadiers and Voltiguers. Agree with you on adding a dropper of Medium Acrylic (i have decanted some for ease of use)
One of the things I love about this period is the uniforms, but mostly the chance to start an argument ... shouldn't those Grenadiers be on the left or are you doing pre-1808? 🙃 Nice painting BTW.
Haha, i think you are correct but its just the way the minis come. Possibly because the black powder range has multiple bases per regiment rather than the 1 base i use. But good pick up haha
Agreed. My old camera was not HD , I was just using what I had, but I have now gotten a better camera that does HD so those videos will be coming through over the next few weeks. Thanks for watching and your support.
@@clarkcommando1983 Hi clark, I dont at the moment but would be very happy to do one, just so I am clear- Are you asking about how to attach pre made flags? How to paint your own? or something else?
What a good looking art right there, It’s actually hard to paint the eyes in my opinion.
Thanks very much for watching. Eyes are always a paint.lol
You make it look so easy.Looks great, i have just started to paint my figures. i might be finished in a year😱
Haha, thanks. I still have so many of the acw minis to paint from 2 years ago lol and my pile of shame just keeps building haha.

Ah interesting, thanks for the pickup I will need to go back over them.

I like your idea of adding a 4th plumed figure. Thanks again.
Perfect epic set on the way
Awesome news, which one did you go for?

Result looks good but 360p is really low resolution for painting vid

Why do you prefer Tamayia flesh?
Just because I have it, no reason otherwise lol
Curious if you have done Prussians yet ?
I have them lined up and ready to go, just be a few weeks to get my next couple of videos finished first. Call of Cthulu minis and ECW Royalists.
