Also, you can have a high IQ. It’s about how good your reasoning and problem solving skills are. I have a math learning disability, ADHD, and a lot of things that give me brain fog etc, but my IQ is in the gifted range.
I'm so glad that you mentioned that you know amazing people that are devout believers. I'm a scientist and l believe in my core that there is so much more than we can imagine. I researched and asked questions and finally I believed in a Higher Power. Everyone's journey is different but just know I admire your honesty and grace. I just wanna say a really huge thank you for your perspective on minimalism.. I'm not a minimalist by any means, but I wish I were... However, I came from a lower class family (and am still by no means well-off) and I really struggle with throwing things away because 1. I invested the money in them, and 2. What if I need it and can't afford to replace it sometime down the road. That being said, I try to be mindful of the new things I bring into my home, but overall it's super difficult to remove things. I've never really heard it explained from that perspective before and it definitely makes a lot of sense
