My dad used to read this to me when I was a child. I loved this story. So nice to have it revisited, but I always fall asleep before the story begins!
When I want to sleep, I often have struggles with thinking too much because throughout the day I am able to distract myself but at night I'm completely isolated and tend to overthink wich makes it veeery hard to sleep. These stories for sleeping make it easier to fall asleep while listening to someone talking I feel very comforted and less lonely, thank you so much❤❤❤

Can I suggest to get some white chestnut from the Bachs Flower tinctures. Amazon or a pharmacy should have it. A few drops in a small glass of water, get into bed, drink it, lie down. This tincture stops unwanted thoughts. I have found it to work amazingly well. If you try it, perhaps let us know, and continue to spread the word about it. Peaceful sleeps ….
I am pleasantly listening to my son slightly snoring by my side after a full day surgery. The best part of this is you are calming me down with your familiar voice. Thank you 🤴

Amazingly, when I say, shh -sleepy time to my puppy. She will settle down as I turn on Thomas's stories. Sometimes she will wince, as if it's a cue for me to forward to the rain and soothing sounds.

This story ,the 12 dancing princesses and The lion, the witch and the wardrobe were my favorite stories as a child… I loved cuddling up and my momma reading them to me… I miss her so much. I also used to love watching these fairy tales on the old show hosted by Shelley duvalle “Fairytale Theater”

I even listen to the sleepy bookshelf with Elizabeth too, I've never looked forward to sleep so much. I almost fell asleep, but began to notice the little bumps and ridges beneath the pillowcase under my head.
The sheet beneath me was wrinkled in places. I wanted it to be flat and smooth.
A minute or two later, it seemed my nightshirt was sligtly pulling on one side.
Eventually, everything felt it had settled into place. My eyelids felt heavy, my breathing slowed and became deeper.
Just as I was in that place where thoughts float by without touching, the little toe n my left foot began to itch..🌷
I love this story and it’s always over looked. So nice to have it!

45:44 Oh no! *The background sleep music, after the story ends, woke me up!* 😆 I think it’s the high pitched flute, that is newly introduced, that woke me up.
At least it didn’t wake me up with a startle! I’ve fallen asleep to CZcams videos before that have _loud_ music at the end, and I’ll wake up with my heart pounding! LOL!!
Now whenever I fall asleep to CZcams videos, I _always_ check to make sure there isn’t music at the end. Even if not loud, there’s a chance it will wake me up.
I actually would prefer no music after the story ends so it doesn’t wake me up and also because I feel like I probably sleep best with no sound, but it’s nice to have something to fall asleep to.
I usually am out within 10 minutes or so when I start a video, and I don’t wake until morning, so if it’s a long video, often I’ll start it when it’s about 30 minutes from the end-that way, I get to sleep in silence soon after falling asleep.
Sorry, I don’t mean to complain. I think what y’all are doing is fantastic, and I know it helps a lot of people! 😊

I read this a long time back maybe when i was in class 5th or 6th ...this was probably the first little story that had a good impact on me ..i learned what a good person does and that there is virtue in being a nice person which the princess was ...❤loved it and grateful that i got to read it as my earliest read books .
