Me too. I have a compressed spine and will usually just lay in bed trying to find a comfortable position and fall asleep ... which usually takes a few hours. Since I have found these relaxing stories I am able to doze off within 20 to 30 minutes.

I’m a long time meditation practitioner and as a singer songwriter I’ve done a lot of meditation directed toward creative development over the past couple of years, focusing on chakras and sefirot etc. Suddenly I found my energy centers wanted to stop being told what to do and I found myself self-helped-out and craving a light, fun foray into my imagination. I have found that the fairy tales and other stories have been a great answer. There is nothing that builds imagination and creativity than using imagination and creativity. And using these as the basis for meditation is just plain fun! Thank you for doing this work!
I love this, and wanted to add that especially in the sleep story genre, I think there are opportunities to add those little moments of meditative thought in. Climbing the icy mountain one step at a time...walking through the woods...listening to the rain...even making a cup of tea. I think sleep stories are so good at just focusing on the moment and helping us settle into it.

I have been listening to your stories at night for several weeks now but now I am actually listening to them on my tv throughout the day as it helps get me out of my own head. I much prefer listening to you than podcasts with uninteresting chit chat or conversation. So thanks 💚
This was my 3rd night in a row, I only remember like a few min from previous night before falling asleep so I make max 5 min progress every night BUT I will finish this one day!!
My therapist sent me guided meditations and all kinds of stuff to help me fall asleep, but lo and behold…. these stories work better for me. 💖

I'm Polish and I've never heard that story - interesting 🤗
As the writer, I'll just chime in and tell you that I believe the original was called Szklanna Góra, but I did have to reimagine a number of things to make it more appealing for peaceful bedtime! My understanding is that it was Polish first, then translated into German and eventually published in English.

Great apart from the ad that woke me up
i havent even watched the video yet, but automatic respect for the only 5 minutes of sleep music. other sleep story videos have like 25 whole minutes of sleep music, and only like 10 minutes of actual story, and like 15 minutes of introduction and relaxation. but this ones sleep music part again, is very short. and i love that SO MUCH !!

Well, well... I couldnt help but imagine the splendor of the mountain, so I listen and saw the story through. Was tired enough to sleep after the ending. The phoenix was seriously a weird part though. And they almost drowned in that castle of ice. The ending with the rainbow colored bouqe of flowers... seriously, my brain keept drawing every detail to life. 😂
You have a dreamy voice. I mean dream-state type voice. I am sure that's on purpose.

I figured it out!! You are a hypnotist! That tonal drone and repitition always goes along with hypnosis.
