I've always found that I personally prefer comics who just talk and tell stories as opposed to the standard: setup, delivery, punchline. With the exception of Mitch hedberg.

Saw him live once. This dude should not need to work at Trader Joe's. I'm not saying he should be rolling in the million dollar deals, but he should definitely be able to support himself and a family being a comic of this level. Sucks for comedians (seems to be all or none, huge or barely known). Like Rick Ingraham and a bunch of dudes i've seen live that are super talented, and yet probably struggling financially.
