I did ayahuasca deep in the Amazon jungle. They tell you to ask mother ayahuasca for something before you drink it. I asked for greater patience and understanding. During the experience I crossed over to a place where there was nothing physical. I was terrified because I couldn’t find my body. I thought I was dead. Then a voice came to me and said “don’t worry you are visiting me in my home”. The voice was so comforting that it immediately calmed me down. We then revisited my life and how I could have responded differently to people and situations. When the shaman woke me up after 3 hours I felt my consciousness renter my body. It felt like a whooosh. It was the most amazing experience and has changed me forever

You can find locals that will bring you deep into the jungle to stay at their villages. Commonly people go for 8 days and do ayahuasca 4 times. One day on one day off. For me it was $50/day. This includes everything, food accommodationand ayahuasca ceremonies. Be careful as there are many charlatans. The town of iquitos is dedicated to ayahuasca with many restaurants serving the recommended diet. I just got back from a ayahuasca retreat in Iquitos Peru. For the 4th ceremony I drank a big cup (6oz) another dimension opened up and my soul was loaded onto a vessel. I was being overloaded with information and emotions during the come up but at the peak the vessel brought me to heaven ans I saw my fathers soul and was filled with so much love and happiness it's is impossible to explain. I was in the afterlife and knew could see this is where we come from and this is where we will return when our human life is over. It was so beautiful there I would have traded everything I have to stay there for just another moment. I could hear the birds mating calls in the jungle 100 of yards away but in the pitch black I could see their calls echoing through the forest like vivid ripples in the water. Ayahuasca forces you to see things that are to difficult for you to deal with you locked it away, it resurfaces all the negative emotions and energy and makes you solve it. In that higher state of consciousness you basically pick the outcome you want and instantly your brain is rewired to think that way and believe a totally different outlook that you would have ever thought possible. I also puked 4 or 5 times per ceremony but afterwards you feel cleansed of whatever was brought up. I went to the retreat somewhat skeptical and left knowing 100% that it is the real deal.

It made me realize that everyone on earth is a reflection of all the sadness and hurt that was done to them. That all people deserve compassion and love. The memories that caused my anger that were once at the forefront of my mind were now distant and impossible to retrieve. I watched my organic material melt from my bones and sink into the earth. I smoked it so I took the first hit but the lady shaman told me to take another hit. At that point she told me to close my eyes and slowly lay back. First thing that I experienced was the most colorful patterns. I then asked myself why am I so ungrateful. Then I heard a voice say "Your Blessed" over and over and over idk how many times but each time I heard it. It made more and more sense!!! I felt tears running down my face. At first i started to feel bad for not being a better son, brother, relative, friend. But as I kept hearing your blessed I started to smile. I just remember saying to myself You are blessed. Which at that point it gave me a beautiful feeling of love and I felt comfort within my consciousness. Then I took control of my experience and thought of the one thing I've always wanted to ask God. I asked "when we die are we gonna fly and see the universe?" I've always hoped God would give us the chance to after death. Which at that point I literally left my body and was with the stars!!! I said thank you for allowing me to see that we don't have to die to be with the stars because obviously I'm not dead. Most beautiful experience I've ever had. I can't wait to go back. I did just one ceremony and it was the most profound experience I’ve had in my life. Painful, very, I purged a little bit, I cried a lot. Feeling of endless sadness, I never felt something like that. In the end I realised I didn’t came actually just for me, I came for my mom and the whole female ancestors in my bloodline. To heal them means to heal myself. And that was the most beautiful spiritual revelation I could get.
On top of that, I was heavily biting my nails since childhood, so over 25 years, but since that ceremony I never felt 0,0001% need or wish to put a finger near my mouth. I always knew it has something to do with my nervous system, because I was doing it while not even noticing I’m doing it. That was my drug.

Yeah, I had a NDE when I was 16 and I now know that we are always dying and being born. I was so traumatized and changed after experiencing death and I still am 13 years later. I think about it all the time and sometimes the experience surfaces again and I’ve always felt connected to “the
Other side.” I’ve never been able to replicate that experience because there were circumstances you can’t really replicate except by being close to death, but I do believe that there are ways to induce the state. I remember feeling like who I was was completely deteriorated. It was like I was literally born again just into a body that was already in the process of growing. I can’t say it was fun.

I don’t smoke cigarettes anymore and I’m no longer smoking copious amounts of wax and weed and it has lead me to face my problems and because of this I developed coping mechanisms that are healthier. I've always really wanted to try Ayahuasca. I've had a similar experience to Mr. Brennan's story, without the use of hallucinogens. I was closing my eyes pretending to be asleep when a roommate walked in, because I didn't want to have to deal with them, as we were fighting. After a few minutes of breathing deep and closing my eyes, I entered into a state of awareness that was highly unusual for me. I felt this intense love coming from somewhere, I couldn't pinpoint it. It was so strong, and it loved me so much no matter what, that I just broke down and wept. It felt like just coming home after being away forever. Certainly this feeling couldn't be coming from me, I've never been one to love myself, and have never been back to that state of being no matter how often, or how hard I try. That experience changed who I was. I knew for a fact that god lives within us all, and we are all just a greater expression of god experiencing this reality.

Now wether he was using something or naturally did it who knows. But I believe he did it naturally. When. The brain is utterly silent at some point you will connect to the source. @@MadCatMattYT I did progressive increments over the span of like 2 years .. once every 6 months I’d do alil more & that was the plan I had after my first experience.
My first experience I couldn’t tell you how much it was, about a quarter palm full maybe like 3-4 grams given to me by someone I didn’t particularly trust but they were free and I had just seen research talking about how safe they actually was. So I did them and had an experience where I seen what looked like “aura” or just a slight bit of light surrounding everything that was sentient .. then I could hear the trees making a noise the more I focused on them the more I could kind of hear through the static and it sounded like they were crying out for help and asking me why we don’t care that much.. but after that I went in the house to collect my thoughts and realized no matter what I did I couldn’t hold onto any thoughts and I was just going through a highway of new information .. eventually it calmed down and I talked to my friend for hours and couldn’t sleep..
Started doing extensive research and listening to other peoples experience with more of an open mind.. found a shrooms dealer and would buy in bulk because they was hard to find .. so I’d buy like 12 grams and do 4-5 grams .. wait 6 months while I process and relearn more things then the rest of bag .. then after 2 years ( 4 trips later ) I was getting comfortable with lower dosages and the experience remained beautiful and so i never had a worry about a bad trip ..
One day I bought another bag of 12 grams .. and I was really getting to the point I wanted to see something I never seen before and that was the intention of the trip.. I started with 8 grams but it felt like I was already at that level before so it was really dull .. kind of like watching a movie over again after just watching it.. so I decided to drink the remaining 4grams and next thing I know I was filled with anxiety and my body starting vibrating .. I did positive affirmation to get rid of the anxiety then I was extremely silent .. so silent that the noise from being so silent started to pick up.. like a buzzing noise , and with my mind I amplified that silent ringing noise until it got so loud it went silent again then I left my body .

I think it's your higher self. Usually we're possessed by desires, hungers lusts etc all the primal lower self "spirits". Psychedelics can take those away, unless you get distracted. That's why it doesn't happen if you don't lay down, because you're fighting it. That's what tripping actually is, if you don't feel that possession I think you're not really tripping, just high. Or maybe it's the other way around. Still, when I think "psychedelic experience" I automatically assume possession type experience with entities. Anything less than that is kind of like having one beer being like "I'm soo drunk man whoa"

But, I started crying.

Weeping over people gathering is a very familiar experience to me, the very first time I took mushrooms at 15 in my mother's house while everyone else was asleep, having only smoked and drank alcohol prior to it I was expecting something simar to weed but more intense, or at least recognizably and viscerally inebriated in some capacity. Instead, the first thing I noticed as the effects took hold (without even being aware of it) while watching television in anxious but doubtful curiosity, was that I felt as if I genuinely and absolutely "knew" every single person on the show playing, and not just the main actors but everyone in the background too, every human being that passed across that screen (it was Trigger Happy TV, if anyone remembers that show lol). It was totally confounding, and then commercials began to play and this overwhelmingly intense feeling and conscious awareness deepened further, to where I felt I knew all of these people intimately, that they were all part of my family and in my thoughts it extended to include every living, future and dead person throughout all time as visions of ancestors rolling back millennia to hundreds of thousands of centuries back into the animal and plant kingdoms flooded my mind. As quickly as this feeling came it suddenly left and immediately after the basic physiological and visual effects took hold and I swam through the kitchen past indoor plants moving to a nonexistent breeze up the stairs to collapse in my bedroom where I was bombarded with a violent, ceaseless cascade of life-changing visions and realizations. It wasn't until several years later as I gained some maturity and many more psychedelic experiences that I understood that initial sensation and what it's implications were. I was practically a child then and had no points of reference whereby to correlate it with any other concepts, to me at that time it was just bizarre and spiritually unsettling.

I had this same, for a lack of a better term, "come to Jesus" moment. Was born in the church, and scared into being baptized, then ridiculed for asking questions about inconsistencies in the Bible. At 12 I became suspicious of all religions and ultimately decided to be atheist as an adult. Then, Ayahuasca, and I all of a sudden understood that what I had been taught in church was nowhere near the all encompassing prescience I felt that night.

It makes it super hard to breathe so they encourage saying something forcefully several times to help you breathe. It also didn't help that I was still recovering from a cold; I don't know what exactly happened but the day after the ceremony I woke up and instantly felt the world spinning, I stayed like that for several days before my body eventually returned back to normal.
I felt the ceremony was kind of meh, doesn't work for everyone (also probably didn't help that it was led by a white dude who charged too much money and demanded offerings beforehand, ruining the sacred vibe)
