Runner on second, batter hits a line drive 3ft off the ground to me. I dive and catch it. Runner takes off for third and I tag the bag making a double play. Best play I've ever made. So that orb is up there playing around.
To be completely captivated and bewildered by the experience, to accept it as real, and to accept yourself as a part of the total experience is the medicine. I witnessed one time on about 3 grams of mushrooms in a vivid fashion, beings (they could have been called orbs) carrying a sarcophagus into a great swirling light. I had tears running down my eyes during the vision and I came to the conclusion that this was me and that the beings were taking an old version of myself away because it no longer had a purpose in my present.
That's really awesome. I would definitely agree with that assessment and it sounds like you genuinely let go of some deeply entrenched things that were in your life that you wanted gone. I'm really happy for you that you were able to let this manifestation take the old You away. I've definitely learned that it is so terribly difficult to let go of certain things in life and when you finally do it is an amazing experience.

My “pure” moment was being dispatched to a single car car crash very late night around 2-3 AM. It was a notoriously dangerous intersection with very little info on the 911 call and PD on scene already. I had my crew turnout for and extrication just in case, pulled up to a T-bone double extrication. Perfect onscene report, upgraded the assignment, took command and put my crew to work. As my 2 firefighters rolled the dash off PT1 I had just enough hose to move the power plant so my engineer could get to work on extricating PT2. As each engine crew and ambulance arrived on scene the extrications were completed and my crew handed off 2 trauma patients. All I did was talk on the radio and move the power plant. I was in awe of my crew and their skills. Absolutely perfect execution, professionalism at its highest level. Never been prouder as a professional Fire Captain, I’ve never seen a better performance on a high stress incident with lives on the line in my 19 year career.
I totally get this and it’s not bragging, it’s recognizing the perfect storm of performance and humanity that we seek daily but rarely occurs in unison

Wow, I can't believe he said St Peters Basilica. I went there about 20 years ago, and I walked around looking at these statues that looked almost alive, and I teared up. I could not believe the beauty of them. To imagine that someone spent their whole life building these 12 foot tall statues that looked alive with their flowing robes ( the robes really stunned me..they looked like they were actually moving). I just stared at these statues for hours even though it felt like 5 mins. Sometimes I'd go back to this particular female statue and I swore her robe was moving. She was looking down and pointing at me. I was literally hypnotized by her. I walked out, thinking, WTF just happened? Yea man, that shit was deep and I'm not even into religion. I didn't and sort of still don't, believe in god. However, while you are in St. Peters Basillica, you feel the presence of something. When I went I felt physically sick there was all this money up on that walls and in the statues and it could be used to help the desperate (not that I'd know how that money could be distributed) but when I went to Venice myself and the now wife went behind an altar for a kiss (which is a no no in church according to the signs) and we got a static shock off our lips lol.

Psychedelics are the reason why i didn’t take my life when i was at my end. I was stripped of my ego and saw the beauty of life and interconnectivity and even though i still battle anxiety and depression, I’m doing better everyday and will never think in such a self destructive way again.
LSD and mushrooms completely changed my whole outlook on life. I became a better version of myself This experience gave me a lot of confidence about my self and my body. A bunch of bad thought / behavior patterns were broken. One of these was pretty bad OCD that made me wash my hands a lot. It gave me a lot of hope that things will be fine, this is the one thing that I heard throughout the trip: Everything is alright. The main reason for the trip was my severe depression and it definitely helped me (although it's not gone). Before all I could do was lay in bed. Now I am trying to rebuild my life one step at a time which wasn't possible before."

I did ayahuasca and it didn't taste bad at all. Throwing up is not because of its taste. It comes after about 10-15 minutes and it feels good to throw up. The visions are amazing. For me it was a very positive experience. I saw pink and violet orbs in space in what felt like some womb for human spirits, where we come from. Also left my body and saw myself from above. Really cool experience which showed me this physical reality is not what it seems. We don't have to be afraid of what happens here on earth. Its a huge relief.
I once saw an interview where Angelina Jolie said that we are all basically looking to hear and feel, “The artist in me sees the artist in you.” This guest really nailed his description of purified moments of ..created moments.

To me the profound realization was that human beings share so much in common that we can’t conceive of it. Our commonalities are to us like water is to fish. Long story short, I think the entities he encountered were actually his idealized self-concept-as perceived by an introspective waking dreamer unable to realize he’s dreaming of meeting himself because our limited perspective can only fragment so far before it has to invent coping mechanisms like “other entities” to ease the psychological strain of the moment.

His idea of “pure” is how I feel when playing in the pocket, rhythmically with other musicians. I always likened it to hitting a baseball on the sweet spot of the bat, but that feeling lasting as long as you’re in the pocket.

Harmony, and syncopation is what I strive for, and have been fortunate enough to have been playing in a Reggae group, with the same rhythm section for the past 30+ years. Really though, Reggae, Soul, Jazz, Bossa, all of them are fun to play in the pocket.
As an artist I understand what this means... its an energy and moment in time that God is cherishing what his children has made for him and that creative energy is then sent off to the heavens for all of eternity.. Ari had great moments of greatness that connected... This is not happening was an amazing series its too bad it had to end but all good things have a beginning and end

I have met Ari a few times, and while his wit is a quite sarcastic, he's actually a really friendly open sort of person. I very much enjoyed his company.

Hahahah, so true. But there's more to it than that I feel as well. While there was definitely some measure of ego involved, I think that there was also this realization within himself to acknowledge that artists (like himself) do desire some measure of recognition for their works. It was an honest assessment of himself. And you could tell he was ambivalent about sharing that too. While I generally have not a high opinion of him, it made me respect him a little more. Not to mention, I'm sure that, over the course of his long 7 hour trip, there were other self-realizations he hasn't spoken about.
For me, this brings to mind the "hidden core of knowledge" all around us that Tesla and many (credible) others have claimed to tune into. Like the universe saves all the best things for collective knowledge. Also, when he talks about someone seeing it (or sharing it with you), it would seem that it's being shared with others even if you're all alone when the magic happens.

The absolute most real dream I ever had in my life, I still remember it almost 20 years later, I dreamt I was at some place with a really rugged coastline, with this beach in a small cove where people were surfing. I realise now that it was the coast of California, somewhere near San Francisco. I was standing there looking out to sea, all I could think about was how terrifying it is that life is just temporary, when Kurt Cobain of all people appears and tells me that I shouldn't be afraid of death, because it's what makes each moment in life so important. He said that if we were going to live forever it would be as if we were already dead, so I should just be thankful that life actually matters.

Its amazing that he is talking about orbs. When I was younger and doing a lot of hallucinogenics a few friends and I were having a weekend trip fest. When 1 of my buddies thought It was raining out. So he went to explore. I told him it wasn't raining but he went out anyway . He came back in a while later. Saying he had lost his mind. Lol and as he was closing the door and stepped inside the room. A glowing static orb the size of a softball followed him inside the house. I watched it come in and float around the room checking everyone out. I said wow wtf is that!? Another buddy who was the oldest in the group. He said that it was like a spirit guide and being that we were halfway in the spirit realm it was just coming to check us out. So I went w that. The orb continued around the room and this kinda peaked my interest because our cat lazy cow cat would always chill on the top of the couch. The Egyptians thought that cats were secrete animals in tune w the spirit realm. Well when it floated over by the cat cow kitty stood up in full attention to the fact that the orb was infront of her. So not only did we all have a group hallucination the cat even observed the orb too. It was awesome! Pured it!

I ate 20 grams of psilocybin once... I also saw fractals and light shows on a black ceiling for hours before I was able to walk or talk. It was probably the most spiritual 12 hours of my life. Its so weird that we see fractals... only the hard core have seen them.
I ate 20 as well one time. Really floors you. I imagine it’s the same intensity of what a good dose of ayahuasca feels like but just a cousin of it. You can definitely get to the same dimension with shrooms as dmt it’s that most people don’t understand the dosages.

Ari, I kind of understand what you were saying here, not sure I like the word "pured" it but that's trivial and I get the concept. You said something really important though that I want to point out, you said "I want someone to notice it". For many people, I might argue for most people life is not fulfilling or worthwhile if you have no one to share it with. You can be rich and travel the world, do amazing things, eat the finest foods, etc but if there is no one to share the experiences with, well everything can really suck. I used to participate in a extreme sport and the things that I was able to do were fun as anything I have ever experienced on this planet but the best part of my memories from then was the car rides to the events and back talking and laughing with my friends about our days, the sitting in the pits talking about how we bested each other and stupid things we did, that was the truly great part. I feel that you are truly lucky to have come from where you started to where you are today and to have had these amazing experiences that not everyone has had the chance to do - like going to an ayahuasca retreat, (damn I would frik'n love to do that) - and I love that you seem to know that you are super fortunate now and you appreciate that. I feel super fortunate to have done what I have done and I get the emotional part you talked about as well. I feel absolute awe so often when I see how awesome and beautiful nature is or how good mankind can be and that feeling is so powerful. Cheers
I did a heroic doze on shrooms and experienced ego death and was one with the cosmos and it opened my eyes to a new way of looking at life forever ...it had nothing to do with my career or achievements.

My “pure” moment was being dispatched to a single car car crash very late night around 2-3 AM. It was a notoriously dangerous intersection with very little info on the 911 call and PD on scene already. I had my crew turnout for and extrication just in case, pulled up to a T-bone double extrication. Perfect onscene report, upgraded the assignment, took command and put my crew to work. As my 2 firefighters rolled the dash off PT1 I had just enough hose to move the power plant so my engineer could get to work on extricating PT2. As each engine crew and ambulance arrived on scene the extrications were completed and my crew handed off 2 trauma patients. All I did was talk on the radio and move the power plant. I was in awe of my crew and their skills. Absolutely perfect execution, professionalism at its highest level. Never been prouder as a professional Fire Captain, I’ve never seen a better performance on a high stress incident with lives on the line in my 19 year career.

Wow, I can't believe he said St Peters Basilica. I went there about 20 years ago, and I walked around looking at these statues that looked almost alive, and I teared up. I could not believe the beauty of them. To imagine that someone spent their whole life building these 12 foot tall statues that looked alive with their flowing robes ( the robes really stunned me..they looked like they were actually moving). I just stared at these statues for hours even though it felt like 5 mins. Sometimes I'd go back to this particular female statue and I swore her robe was moving. She was looking down and pointing at me. I was literally hypnotized by her. I walked out, thinking, WTF just happened?

The main reason for the trip was my severe depression and it definitely helped me (although it's not gone). Before all I could do was lay in bed. I did ayahuasca and it didn't taste bad at all. Throwing up is not because of its taste. It comes after about 10-15 minutes and it feels good to throw up. The visions are amazing. For me it was a very positive experience. I saw pink and violet orbs in space in what felt like some womb for human spirits, where we come from. Also left my body and saw myself from above. Really cool experience which showed me this physical reality is not what it seems. We don't have to be afraid of what happens here on earth. Its a huge relief.

Harmony, and syncopation is what I strive for, and have been fortunate enough to have been playing in a Reggae group, with the same rhythm section for the past 30+ years. Really though, Reggae, Soul, Jazz, Bossa, all of them are fun to play in the pocket.
As an artist I understand what this means... its an energy and moment in time that God is cherishing what his children has made for him and that creative energy is then sent off to the heavens for all of eternity.. But there's more to it than that I feel as well. While there was definitely some measure of ego involved, I think that there was also this realization within himself to acknowledge that artists (like himself) do desire some measure of recognition for their works. It was an honest assessment of himself. And you could tell he was ambivalent about sharing that too. While I generally have not a high opinion of him, it made me respect him a little more. Not to mention, I'm sure that, over the course of his long 7 hour trip, there were other self-realizations he hasn't spoken about.
Don't blame the drugs. Just say No to Ari.
For me, this brings to mind the "hidden core of knowledge" all around us that Tesla and many (credible) others have claimed to tune into. Like the universe saves all the best things for collective knowledge. Also, when he talks about someone seeing it (or sharing it with you), it would seem that it's being shared with others even if you're all alone when the magic happens.
Yet again more proof we have more of a connection to each other than what we allow ourselves to experience everyday.

The absolute most real dream I ever had in my life, I still remember it almost 20 years later, I dreamt I was at some place with a really rugged coastline, with this beach in a small cove where people were surfing. I realise now that it was the coast of California, somewhere near San Francisco. I was standing there looking out to sea, all I could think about was how terrifying it is that life is just temporary, when Kurt Cobain of all people appears and tells me that I shouldn't be afraid of death, because it's what makes each moment in life so important. I asked him how he knew that's what I'm worried about, and he answered saying it's because unlike me his time is already passed. Its amazing that he is talking about orbs. When I was younger and doing a lot of hallucinogenics a few friends and I were having a weekend trip fest. When 1 of my buddies thought It was raining out. So he went to explore. I told him it wasn't raining but he went out anyway . He came back in a while later. Saying he had lost his mind. Lol and as he was closing the door and stepped inside the room. A glowing static orb the size of a softball followed him inside the house. Well he definitely did not have a full-blown ego death because what hes talking about comes from ego. I get what he's saying that when you nail something perfect. It's a good feeling but it doesn't compare to the mystical experience of ego death and Oneness with God

I ate 20 grams of psilocybin once... I also saw fractals and light shows on a black ceiling for hours before I was able to walk or talk. It was probably the most spiritual 12 hours of my life. Its so weird that we see fractals... only the hard core have seen them.
I ate 20 as well one time. Really floors you. I imagine it’s the same intensity of what a good dose of ayahuasca feels like but just a cousin of it. You can definitely get to the same dimension with shrooms as dmt it’s that most people don’t understand the dosages.

Ari, I kind of understand what you were saying here, not sure I like the word "pured" it but that's trivial and I get the concept. You said something really important though that I want to point out, you said "I want someone to notice it". For many people, I might argue for most people life is not fulfilling or worthwhile if you have no one to share it with. You can be rich and travel the world, do amazing things, eat the finest foods, etc but if there is no one to share the experiences with, well everything can really suck.
I used to participate in a extreme sport and the things that I was able to do were fun as anything I have ever experienced on this planet but the best part of my memories from then was the car rides to the events and back talking and laughing with my friends about our days, the sitting in the pits talking about how we bested each other and stupid things we did, that was the truly great part.
I feel that you are truly lucky to have come from where you started to where you are today and to have had these amazing experiences that not everyone has had the chance to do - like going to an ayahuasca retreat, (damn I would frik'n love to do that) - and I love that you seem to know that you are super fortunate now and you appreciate that.
I feel super fortunate to have done what I have done and I get the emotional part you talked about as well. I feel absolute awe so often when I see how awesome and beautiful nature is or how good mankind can be and that feeling is so powerful. Cheers
I did a heroic doze on shrooms and experienced ego death and was one with the cosmos and it opened my eyes to a new way of looking at life forever ...it had nothing to do with my career or achievements.
