- Due to youtube's new restrictions on content made for children. Here's a clarification, as youtube keep turning off comments on this video.
This video was created to give people who grew up in the 90's (like myself) a nostalgia rush. Anyone who grew up during the 90's would be currently, at least 21 years old (1999 being the last birth year).
If you're under 16 please enjoy watching the video, but please don't comment! Thanks.
Part 2 now up!
Damn!!!!! Thanks for the upload bro, had a lot of fond memories watching this🍻🍻🍻
Mike Mason great! Subscribed
bro i was born in 2004 but i still remember about 70% of this
Yes!! That’s how the fun time in your life goes by!!!! A 9 minute video sums up your happiness!!! Lmao
Ahoyhoy There, Fellow CZcamsrino! You should do Commercials that aired in the 90s but kept on aire in the early 2000s; Like the Sun Maid Raisin Commercial with the song "My Girl "
I think everyone here and reading this has the same feeling, we all wanted nothing more to grow up and drive and be an adult now look at us
@@AnaDiaz-wz4cf well Bcuz you had an awesome old school childhood, and just relieving it😊👍I'm 24 this yr and I rmbr that a lot of the toys me and my siblings had were from mcdonalds😊😅but I scored like only 45 here for this video challenge...😅
@@kjthekunoichi yes definitely.😊 I didn't have all the toys but I pretty much either knew someone who had them or watched commercials about them My mom still keeps some of my McDonalds toys from the little mermaid movie.
@@AnaDiaz-wz4cf wow!! Well most of my siblings and my toys inc those mcdonalds ones have been given away, tho I'm kinda sad but I'm glad we get to share our toys we needy kids☺☺oh yeah, I rmbr we used to had the little mermaid 2 toys like the seashell where ariel's mermaid daughter would jump out when we put the shell in water! But we still have our Sebastian!😊😊👍👍
I never though that I wanted to grow up, I've always been thinking a wanted to stay as a child, couse i could not imagen myself being an adult and it looked weird and boring.
@@anettetre6631 all living things will grow older... just maybe continue to have that young at heart vibe and always cherish those childhood memories😊😊
The 90s had the perfect amount of technology. We didn't need anything more especially not social media.
You're right. Once I started using social media my mental health got worse and worse tbh. The only "social media" site I actively use now is youtube, which I don't really even consider social media because I use it for entertainment, like a replacement for TV.
If we stop advance our technology after cold war, we would be different or never changed
i could legit cry about how much it has changed. the world has turned so evil and shitty due to social platforms. i really want to just go back and get stuck. my best days ever were as a kid in the 90s and i wish i could just get stuck there.
Amen to that brother
I was born on January 10, 1980, and so I grew up in the 90s, and I always thought the 90s sucked. There was no social media in the 90s, internet worked like crap in the 90s, there was no smart phones in the 90s, not many good movies in the 90s, and video games are a lot better today than they were in the 90s.
I think today's world is a lot better than it was in the 1990s. I think the 1990s is very overrated.
Imagine how sad it is to never go back to those times. Like its impossible, life is sad. We can never feel what we felt when we were kids
😞
Take e
@theBEARnecessities oh yeah i can tell. good for you mister 👍 keep it up ☺️
This is why we have youtube
@theBEARnecessities dont matter. You will still never be able To actually go back
Anyone else just get this dark shrouded emotion in them that's pretty much just making you realize how quick life is going by?... it's like I can look at this, remember when, but then my mind is reminding of how it will never happen again. That was childhood. It's over. You can look back but theres no going back... We're only getting older now guys... Why does it have to feel so scary tho...
That moment you realize that *nobody* is happier now is a real wake-up call to life and is the definition of dystopia
The present moment is also about to be over and will never happen again. Don’t waste this moment morning the past!
I feel this comment in my soul
Yes agree. I was born in 81 can't believe I'm 40
@@skahler Keep strong. Dont forget that despite the struggles and madness in this world today, God is full of justice, mercy and love.
Justice said we broke His perfect law - causing the world's previous perfection to be
destroyed - and therefore we deserve Hell (like a punishment in any legal system but this is eternal as His perfect law is eternal too). Don't think you fit in that category? Ever done one of these?: lying, stealing - regardless of how small the object EVER, hating others - which is murder in God's perfect law, lusting (plus God sees our entire thought life). Justice says "the soul that sins shall die" - if we break one in thought/word/deed it's as if we're guilty of all of them. Quite simply, living by the law (which is doing everything perfectly) is impossible for sinful humans
. The law shows us that 1. We will die in Hell if we fail to follow it and 2. We cannot save ourselves BUT, 3. God's perfect, immovable law points us to Christ, who followed and fulfilled the law in thought, word and deed perfectly in our place. He did what we couldn't and did it on our behalf. He was then sentenced to death on a cross, and took our personal punishment for our sin, paying our penalty (like paying our fine) completely FOR us, and has given us freedom.
If we turn from the sins we have committed and repent (pursue the opposite direction of love through Christ) He will, overtime, recreate us back into that previously perfect image through The Holy Spirit which Jesus sends to all who accept Him as their personal Lord and Savior of their life. He will help us through the struggle, the stress, and anything we experience in the world. It's about letting Christ in to guide and teach you and obeying Him through His power (not ourselves, we need Him to help us as it's impossible without depending on His power and instruction).
He is our substitute in His life, death and resurrection. He essentially rewrote history in our place so that, if you believe in Him, it will be as if you had never sinned if you accept Christ's death as our own in our place.
He is in Heaven right now preparing a place for us so that He can take His faithful, believing children home with Him when He returns. He will ressurrect us from death when He returns, giving mercy to those who accept His love, instruction and teachings in their life, and give justice to those who refuse it.
He doesn't want ANY of us to go to Hell and die for continuing in evil and rejecting His way to life, thats why He died FOR us. Hes giving EVERYONE a chance, He wants everyone to take the free gift of salvation from Hell. He wants us to be His and begin to follow His life of love and service through His power and abiding (staying) with Him. So long as we keep our hearts near to Christ through His strength, strive to follow His will of perfect love revealed in the Bible, and let Him lead in the midst of (very certain) pitfalls and struggles, we will, in time, win the ultimate victory over sin, pain and DEATH through Christ. Even if you are willing to be made willing, pray for Jesus to come in and He will do what we can't. Give us The Holy Spirit who will guide us in the right way.
Christ says in John 16:33: I have told you these things, so that in Me you may have [perfect] peace. In the world you have tribulation and distress and suffering, but be courageous [be confident, be undaunted, be filled with joy]; I have overcome the world.” [My conquest is accomplished, My victory abiding.]
- (AMPLIFIED version)
NOTE: You are NEVER too sinful or messed up that God cannot turn your life around through Jesus. EVER. Regardless of what you've done or what you're going through you CAN make it through Jesus. Xxx
So much nostalgia in this, I wish we never grew up.
I grew up in the eighties we still had these toys a lot of them were brought out in the eighties I had quite a few of them my favourite was perfection game they showed it cracked me up so much because you had to push the platform down into the base and set the timer and put the shapes in the holes before the time ran out very hard to master 😂😂😂❤️
Right !! I wish we never grew up :(
I know and soon we will all be dead.
@Mortal kombat hahahahaha!
I really feel sorry for the younger kids these days. They have been robbed of an awesome childhood. I was born in '88, and though these nostalgia inspiring videos make me long for simpler times, I had a blast growing up and I'm fairly happy now. This younger generation, though.. they all seem to be miserable and depressed in their early teens. They're going to have a tough time in their 20s, 30s, 40s, etc. Life seems very long when you're over it at age 12.
Ik I mean i think everyone would probably love the 2010s and 2020 if it wasn't for new technology and covid
We didn't have internet but we were never bored... I miss my childhood 🙁
When I first got the internet _it_ was boring. Almost _every_ website was GeoCities or similar.
The intro killed me. I loved watching Rugrats as a kid. I miss so much about the 90s. I miss my family being together and going on vacations with them. Now we rarely see each other and we are all busy. I miss the Tv shows and movies then. Movies and Tv is crap compared to then. I miss the mostly drama free society. I miss so much. And it kills me. It actually saddens me. That those times are long gone. And each day that passes we get further from it. 2020 is a garbage year too.
Yes didn't expect the intro to be arthur!!
Born October '92, really miss being a kid god damn. Life as an adult is just work and chores
May of '92 here. The big 30 coming soon, where did the time go
July 88 here, i miss being a kid
Jan of ‘88 here. I want to go back to the ‘90s and the ‘00s.
August of '92 here. Same. i just wanna be a kid again. the late 90s were LIFE. 🥲💕
April 1993.
Born in 81. Came here for nostalgia. Left with sadness knowing we can never go back.
Ikr I miss the old times so innocent
I was born in 91 and will be 30 in September. I wish I could go back to being a kid 🤷♀️
Me to 90s kid my best days
i was born in 91 24th Nov, true 90s kids we are.
When the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers theme played, I nearly cried and a surge of nostalgia immediately has flooded my body. Rest in peace, Jason David Frank, the most iconic PR actor.
Bruh the 90s hit so different! Such a simple time. Also, the 90s always remind me of summer. Summer was the best time to be alive when you were a kid! That meant no school, riding your bike, swimming in the pool/beach, hanging with the homies, popsicles, bikes, throwing the ball. Man, I'm big sad now
The fact that you used bruh and hit so different means you were barely alive in the 90’s 😂
We did'n't say stupid shit like "bruh". You just gave yourself away, imposter. Respectfully, we don't consider you part of the 90's community. Now go away.
@@user-hk7hz9cn7v I guess people aren't allowed to change their usage of slang at all, ever. Good to know. Or should I say... RaDiCaL, thanks for hooking me up with the 411!!!
Born in 92 and I remember waking up on the weekends to watch X-men and street sharks. And how could I forget bananas in pajamas lol fuck best time I ever had would want to go back for one day and be a kid again.
Also born in 92 and I agree completely!!
Born in 88 and blessed to have experienced this amazing decade. Id give anything to relive these days. How badly I wanted to grow up and now how much I wish time wouldve just stood still. Its kinda depressing actually.....
I was born in 98 so I basically missed the 90s, but I have two older sisters who had most of this stuff which got passed down to me as I grew up in the early 2000s. I miss so much about being a tiny kid who only had to worry about not eating my favourite snacks and going to bed earlier than I wanted 😔
I was born in 86 I remembered when I got my first game system the great and mighty NES been gaming ever since but recently gave my system's to my kid's they need them mor then me
I miss the 90’s and ima 90’s kid and I consider myself an Millennial 1990-99 I was born 1997
I was born in 87. The 90s were great. And knowing that there is no going back, really makes me sad
The music… the toys… the cartoons…WHAT A TIME! This was to be a kid ❤
1:51 i feel like no one actually bought these they just appeared in our houses one day
Literally was thinking the same thing. I remember be around a lot of these things but not owning them or remember my parents buying it -1996
I remember the feel of these things as if I was holding one right now.
XDDDDD But mine lit up when you bounced it.
For anyone who only lived through the 90s, a lot of these things actually came from the 80s or even earlier, but stayed popular until the 90s. Glo Worms for instance were introduced in 82. The board game Mouse Trap (I'm just learning) first came out in 1963!
Yeah, he mentions that in the beginning, but it's still BS. Make it strictly 90s or forget about it.
I want to cry😭😭😭. I miss these days. Life was perfect then.
I started crying . what an amazing 90s childhood... Tears of happiness remembering.
I wasnt even a 90's kid, yet I still knew most of these things. I remember playing with so many of those toys.
Miss the 90s tv show and toys and computer screen savers
I recognized 65, I thought I would have recognized way more. God damn though, this really took me back lol. I've said it a million times and I'll say it again. Growing up in the 90s was AWESOME and I miss the 90s every single day of my life😭😭 We were lucky to have experienced that decade as children!
Even the 90s tv show intro theme songs are iconic
Wow, memory overload. 🏰🤯 I was watching this simply, nodding happily in a nostalgia vapor like, "oh yeah, haha, I remember this, cool" and then... that castle & its (awesome) wooden chamber door popped up (3:00 mark). I was transported back to a childhood Christmas day memory & every day after, playing my HEART out with that castle 🤩🥺 It hit me like a brick, I haven't had an intense memory dunk like that in a long time. Thank you for that, really. How could I ever have forgotten something so precious to me? 🏰
Born in early 80s, got 76. Really shows the power of advertising when I can remember toys like Crocodile Dentist from commercials 25-30 years ago, as I don't think I ever owned or played with it.
I'm 31. I remember a bunch of these! I remember that make believe microwave getting it as a gift when I was like 7 or 8 years old. I miss this time and wish I remembered more! I especially remember having one of those lunch boxes in 96 or 97! Proud to be a 90s kid.
I was born in 1999 and still remember a lot of these
The “S” got me 🤣 Used to write that all over my notebook during class. I feel old having to have played with so many of those toys and man, the nostalgia. I appreciate more of what I have now and watching this, I wish my kids now have some of these simple toys.
The yo yo craze of 1999! So many memories here, definitely the best time to be a child by far
The nostalgia runs very deep. What a great generation to grow up in. I look back now and thank the Lord for still being here with my family. Thank you so much ❤
It’s crazy how these forgotten songs just came to me
BLOCKBUSTER was left out... that was a big deal in the 90s! I remember seeing 99% of these either owning them, playing with them at friends houses or seeing them at school.
I forgot how dope the Arthur theme song was.
I'm such a nostalgia junkie. I was born in '91, 27 yrs old and I think I'll never get over the fact that I had such a beyond fantastic and incredible childhood. Take me back please
I still have all of my Goosebumps books along with the “pick your ending” books as well
Oh wish I could go back to the 90s I miss my era born in 93
Nostalgia is a blessing but also a curse at the same time
So glad to be a 90s baby man.
I feel like every other year I get this video recommended to me for seemingly no reason whatsoever.
My main takeaway from this is that the future is incredibly exciting. What was nostalgia for our generation will be how future humans feel about the incredible discoveries our kids will make decades from now. Truly amazing cycle.
Watching this video made me realise just how awesome the 80s and 90s were to be a child growing up in. It was such a different era only a couple of decades ago wasnt it? How the world can change so much in such a short space of time is truly astonishing isnt it?
This was a time that i so much wish i could go back to and just freeze my age forever. Thank you for making this video Mike , it sure brought back so many wonderful memories of my childhoof for me !
Had most of these. Wanted some of them. Miss it all. Take me back. Please 🙏
I had a horrible childhood.... but tv and my bicycle gave me some type of joy 😊
I was born in 2004 and even tho I had over 60 of these things growing up I wish I was the people in the comments talking about how fun their childhood was in the 90s ☹️
I was born in late 2007 but I have so much nostalgia to this stuff. Anyone remember purble place? I was a MASTER at making damn cakes
You were born too late. You missed the greatness
@@efaciler2462 But I also missed 9/11, which is good because I don't know if I could've dealt with it
@@efaciler2462 And i had enough friends
Perfection, lite brite, and a lot more of these are from the 80’s.
I had a dream I was in the 90s again the other day my house and everything was how it was when I was a kid again it was wild and since then I’ve been watching these videos, I’d do anything to be a kid again for a day
82 - but the music kept messing my count up 😂 I miss that time, the future is not what they promised us 🤦🏽♂️
I was born 96’ and still a “bro” according to the scoring lol
Jesus, I made it through 5 pics and almost died from nostalgia. I was just going "oh no" over and over.
Thanks for making me feel like a kid again
Lol I remember most of these but what stands out is how wired I'd get as a teenager after a couple cans of surge!
I remember wow I miss the 90’s and my Childhood
August 1990, and let me tell ya, I really wish I could have stayed a kid for much much longer. I have 3 now, and I wish they could experience at least half of what my childhood was like. Even the atmosphere felt different. 33 this year, and it just shows how life moves too fast without you realizing it.
This video made me smile when I seen so much of this stuff and heard the songs ! 90’s is where it’s at! If only we could go back
The Hey Arnold music hit me hard! Such a classic!
As a 2010s kid I still remember these 😭
2:21 oh it the talkboy from home alone lol
Thank you for this.
Arthur really helps capture the overall Atmosphere back then.
I wish I was born in the 90’s. Sounds like it was a much more amazing time than today.
It's all perspective, tomato tomato yeer
This video dragged so many memories up 1986 is when my journey began it's insane how much things have changed both better and worse
OMG I'm so happy I came here now I hear Arthur theme song. Taking me back to the late 90s for sure
I’m a 2000s-2010 kid, but I love the 90s and I’m amazed and super happy to hear from others that it was a magical or just a pretty special decade, if only I had a time machine so I could see for myself
(And yes, I’m a “peanut” according to the scores)
Man I needed this, I could picture almost each item and which one of my friends had it. The music was spot on too, when you’re lost in 1990s on your phone, and look up to see you’re back in 2021 lmao….. fuck.
Me and my wife just went down memory lane watching this ! I love our childhood tbh ! Wish we could get it back !!
I wish I could go back to road trips with my family, leaning against the speaker, listening to Cheap Trick at night...
80's and 90's toy were/are totally cool. Crash test dummies. Nerf. Super soaker. Aw dude so much. Kurplunk. Creepy crawlers. BMX
One day you're watching Rocos Modern Life....then you blink your 31 and its your modern life 😞
Loved Rocos modern life! One of my faves for sure!
I was born in 2009 but for some reason I have this feeling of nostalgia I think it’s because I think about my mom when she was a teen
I remember most of these as a 1992 baby. I am 30 now lol. I even have dreams that I was younger and when I wake up, I just wanted to go back to sleep and dream it all over again
Just smile each time something you remember 😁
Not even a kid from the 90s and I recognised 49 of these
Guess my parents tell me quite a bit about the 80s and 90s 😅
8:24 how I learned to drive lol why was using the turn signals the best part 😅😆
and they say things cant make you happy...heck, just by looking at them brings me fond memories
oh the good memory's that is long gone.
Wow, I remembered 92 objects. I did have a massive family though.. 😆
This brings back so many nostalgic moments of my life
I was born in 81. I ad no idea adult like would suck so much. Between hating my job and panic attacks I enjoy nostalgia. Lol
What a beautiful time to be a kid! I still have my streetfighter sticker book and comics. I have the rugrats comics too and a spiderman animated series sticker book! Feel lucky to have experienced this era
I mostly grew up in the 80's, but there was some crossover with these items. Some of my favorite toys/items: (Some not listed on video)
Ring Pops, Perfection, Speak n' Spell, Pop Rocks, Atari, Operation, Fashion Plates, Play-Doh Barber Shop, anything He-man or She-Ra.
Some items I wanted but never owned:
Lite-Bright, Easy Bake Oven, Snoopy Sno-Cone Maker, Hot Wheels with Key.
Thanks for the fun trip down memory lane.
my childhood has been retapped THANK YOU!!!!
Im laughing before the video even started. Seeing the level ranking from "Toe Jam & Earl" brought back some great memories
Those were the exact rollerblades I had as a kid in the 90s!
29 here, we had the best toys and times in the 90s, if you didn't skateboard you were a nobody back then
Born in 1986, got 14 unknowns. Score 86, I am satisfied. Thanks for this nostalgic video, found it very amusing seeing all these items again. 💯☮
Got 96, not bad. Brought back a lot of memories.
Loved the fact Toejam & Earl’s ranks were used! Such an iconic ‘90s video game
Wow I've forgotten about so much, this was so cool to see. Gosh...just take me back ❤❤
Oh God I forgot how it felt hearing those songs as a kid this warmed my heart I wish I could go back to the best time of my lifeeeee!!!
I wish I was 9 years old again
I wasn't born in the 90s early 2000s but I can still relate to basically almost all of these because I collect vintage toys and all these objects
hahaha... Loved this! Haven't seen so many of these things in forever. Bringing a Triple Power Push Pop to school made anyone into an instant celeb! XD
I got 42! Was waiting for big frank to pop up that was my favorite!
If your a 90s kid and your not crying... idk what to tell. This made me smile
1998-2005 was probably the best era of my life
I desperately want to go back
I was born in August of 1992, and I miss the simple times too. Not a care in the world, using our imagination, playing outside, Powerpuff Girls, Zoom, Between the Lions, All That, Amanda Show, Playing on the playground at recess, Blockbuster, roller rinks, KB Toys, Rave, Wonderful World of Disney, PS1, PC games, Movie Surfers, DZ, Bop It, and when Mcdonalds had the most awesome toys and the play areas. Just take me back!!! :(
I was born April of 1993, I miss those times.
Wow I remember all of these from back then! I used to love the goosebumps books and television series!
