I've been using my Z13 for a few weeks now. The only cons are 1. SD card driver on XG Mobile keeps Z13 from rebooting. 2. Battery life is just ok. 3. It's a tablet so it's very "top heavy". You can't easily carry it around like a laptop.
Btw if you change your settings in elden ring either raise or lower it without resetting the game the fps stays around the same. A trick i used for a pretty bad laptop was to set it at low then change it to medium/high, trust.
Interesting question but I never tried to charge or use the device without the included charger. Im pretty sure you can slow charge via a small phone USB charger but if the power gets too much I think it wont sustain charging it.
Yes... u can. As long as ur regular c cable supports 100w and above. If not it will slowly discharge it if your tdp output is on the higher side as per playing games etc. But once u go to lighter tasks like just browsing etc, it will charge slowly.
USB c pd charger (so no USB a cable ). I can work all day long with a 65w charger and actually charge the battery. But while gaming, the battery DROPS with a 65w charger connected.
I had mine for 2 days. Love it but my top part of the right hand screen is clicky... like it's not sealed properly... not sure if it'd the same as yours.
I'll get mine one day. Ordered the newest 16gb/1tb/4060 from Best Buy almost 2 weeks ago. Fedex "lost it", now waiting for Best Buy to approve sending me another (pick up in store). Have this XG mobile 4090 sitting here lonely. Guess I can hook it up to my Ally and mess with that in the meantime. Replacing my old desktop with this so I can take my main pc with me anywhere I want easier than a laptop even.
Good to hear! Btw im uploading a review from the new 2024 ASUS Zenbook DUO.. I think that is a crazy good design if they could only make a ROG model with a 4000 series nVidia card or like with Flow, to be able to add a 4090 externally.
elden ring doesnt run like that how you displayed it , looks like you didnt restart the game when u changed the graphics settings, for me elden ring on medium settings on my flow z13 the 3050 with i7 12700h model im getting average 55 to 57 fps on turbo settings.
If they make a 14-inch OLED version (the current panel sucks, I've seen it live, it's pitiful, let's face it). With a bigger battery (since then the space is there), 56Wh not even 2 hours do you do with Google Chrome/Opera/Edge.... eating up all the resources with its awesome CEF or whatever, like GPU with DLSS/RTX eating watts like they are chips. Then damn these mini trackpads, it's so much space, why make a square. This tablet/laptop has always been a dream, however on 2000-3000 I expect quality. Another thing on a gaming PC 1TB is nothing, why put a chipset that supports max 1TB, so you can't expand...bhoo. Before they put a solution, they reflect or not.... If they play the saving game on 3000 euros people think 1000 times....
4K is too much for such a small screen and then the hardware too.. but should be fine to play on lower resolutions just you wont get that 120Hz possibility.

bro u got a fake flow z13 ain't no way this performs this bad. u are like stuttering having 20to 30 fps...u might aswell take it back and ask for a refund..i have seen other videos that run games at 8- fps

SD Card issue should be brought to attention, clearly an oversight.. or maybe you can switch the boot device in BIOS?
