@@cenketsu Yeah, Gnar is REALLY old but that's just because he was preserved in true ice, his brain never developed into an adult Yordle's brain. I think I read somewhere that even though Gnar is really old he's mentally around 4 years old.

Make his W as little Gnar an active ability to turn into Mega Gnar (but still keep the auto passive)
I love that idea, the issue would be that you would lose full control of when you turn mega (super important mechanic)

Gnar is the only Yordle we know of that can transform so he’s the missing link. Other yordles lost the evolutionary trait or simply don’t know how to tap into it..

from what i could gather, yordles can temporarily hyperevolve during high stress. which is probably why their culture advanced way faster than the humans. heim is always stressed, hence, had involvuntarily hyperevolved brain. veig is also always stressed, hence hyperevolved to a dark creature, losing most if his yordle form. same can be said to the other yordle champs in lol, except maybe teemo or poppy.

what if Gnar was the missing link in Freljord history? The story kinda depicts him as the sole survivor of Lissandra's betrayal, the only one who saw everything and lived to tell (kinda xd) the tale. He could be the "missing link" in Freljordian history that explains the watchers
