I think the price is a little steep considering most of the stuff included is fairly affordable at any local beauty store, and you still need a drill and led lamp to cure 🤷🏻♀️
The lamp and drill aren't really needed you can hand file and use a polish top coat. What you are essintially paying for is the kit, that is set up for beginners. Items that were carefully picked, popular brand, for some one practicing on themselves or practice hand. This is a mini pro kit. If the price is still stopping you; buy all items included in this kit seprately save your coin. This tutorial is that to show how to with the it. You can do all the technique shown with any other product.
I was mind blown by the price..Not taking away from the facts they are great quality products but wow!
The stuff at your local beauty store doesn’t compare to this acrylic or monomer. I have bought many cheap powders from various brands, and I genuinely know Kiara is a great brand.
Are their prices a little high? Yeah, but they have sales. If you bought anything from her, do the acrylic powders and monomer. The rest you can get from your local beauty store.
Well that’s the same for every product in the world lol. Buy what you can afford. Simple
You have a point, but you're definitely not going to get quality as good as KS. Anywhere. You're not paying for individual products, you're paying for the set of them, at a quality that's unrivaled in the industry. Yes, by all means, go buy the products for as cheap as you possibly can but you're gonna get what you pay for and the time it takes to learn application WILL be double without quality products. In the cover application on the full nail, the first bead only covers the apex and doesnt go to the cuticle but when you apply the second bead the cuticle is covered was there a missed step?

It doesn't need to be cured. It hardens naturally.
You'd need to use a lamp when you seal it in with top coat.

Hi there! Thank you for your question! In this video, we are using acrylic powders, which don't require a UV/LED lamp to cure. The acrylic will air dry in just a few minutes. I hope this clarifies things for you! If you have any more questions, feel free to ask! 💅✨

I would like this explained a bit because as far as ive read and watched other videos, this is a no no. It looks like the monomer is getting everywhere. Because its all over the glove, its spreading to other fingers. Is there something im missing? Is this monomer non allergy causing? idk 😅

Use alcohol to dehydrate and acetone to prime. Won't stay as long, but works.

Why dip into the monomer again after placing the bead? I thought once the bead is down the brush needs to be dried a little on a paper towel before sculpting? All other YT nail techs don't go back into the monomer until they are picking up their next bead or cleaning their brush a bit and then drying their brush before continuing.
The logic I thought was a) contact allergies due to monomer contact with the skin. b) it affects the consistency if the bead is still polymerizing, c) if the bead is the correct consistency and acrylic is good quality it shouldn't stick to the brush (if that's why she did it) d) once it starts to cure having more monomer on the brush is pointless.
Am I mistaken?
Acrylic brushes must stay somewhat moist to sculpt acrylic properly.

I struggle to use her stuff , it’s so watery . I could drain my brush of liquid and it’s still too wet. I use her powder, brush, and monomer . Maybe it’s just me .
I think it’s you, maybe you’re wetting the brush too much. I suggest to watch young nails videos I used to do the same thing like you till I realize what I was doing wrong
