All the nails salons I've gone to can't day any major nail art, all they can do are lines and dots and can't shape em the right way smh. Just knowing how to apply acrylic on a fake nail doesn't make you a true nail tech, you gotta know how to shape, design etc. Lol man the the CZcamsrs on her make salon techs look like beginners 🙄
There are tips without a distinct curve downwards like these, you don't necessarily have to sculpt with a form to get the nail straight out.

I wish every technician knew the difference between stiletto and almond. I got my nails done for my graduation in May, asked for almond shaped and ended up with short stilettos...
This is great there are so many different shapes and alot of people who have there nails done want different shapes. I know how to do square but it's the only one and this tutorial shows me the proper way to do the other. I also love that I can come back and watch this when ever I need it so thank you I really appreciate it

Back when I started I use the claw grip nail tips and now have moved to the c curve tips and it’s changed the game 💕💕💕💕

Lani K thats what i said!!! Coffin is nowhere near that narrow. Coffin is slightly more tapered than a tapered square and it honestly killed my soul when she said it was coffin 😂

Thank god I found this video, I've been struggling to get my nail shapes , I didnt know what I was doing wrong! Also, I'm thankful you used a hand file and not efile! I cant afford one right now plus I'm still a beginner so I'd prefer to learn with the hand file first before I graduate to the efile!

Hi, thanks for this great video. Why do some nails drop down more than others? This gives me a witch nose vibe. Is it the finger or the nail brand?
My OCD has me stressed out on selecting best easy to remove fake nails. Should I go for full coverage or only tips?. I know gel nails are by far the easiest to remove but which brand???
FYI - I’m about to become my own nail tech. Just for my ADHD amusement. Hence my sudden awareness of these details.
