Rick and Morty | S6E6 Sneak Peek: Dinosaur Utopia | adult swim - Krátké a kreslené filmy
I like that raptor’s disagreeing, disapproving nod, as if to say “no they do NOT sort it at the facility, and YOU should know better Beth” 😄
Yeah they sell it to india to dump
they DO sort it. but only the metal.
I like that interpretation, but I saw it more of a "Why force them to do something you could do, because of your lazyness" kind of thing.
Beth blatantly half-assed being environmentally friendly, then ridiculed someone else cleaning up her mess by saying someone else will clean up her mess later... It's shameful and very human of her.
Beth-san
1K likes in two hours?! Great Googily Moogily! I have to randomly comment on [as] vids more often 😄
“I was already doing what I wanted.” This is flawless writing. And acting; Rick sounds honestly confused how Beth hasn’t put that together.
As I doubt the series is going to end with "the dinosaurs took over all jobs for humanity" we are likely also going to see them take over doing Rick's "occupation" as well but yeah funny in the meantime.
I was like 101 baby looks like a emoji doing snake hands
@@DianaGohan yeah.... it's nice you aren't on the writing team at least
Beth and Summer have defined themselves by society's standards. Rick and Morty on the other hand simply do whatever they want because nothing matters. Something this trailer shows clearly.
Curious to see how Jerry prospers in this world. If he isn't actually working with the Dinos as some experimental guinea pig to see how they can help humanity or something. Him missing, likely means there's some B-plot going on.
@@beanseason6515 They dont have to be on the writing team; the writing team has made it clear that they are transitioning to being way more vocal with Rick's character flaws because some inane portion of the fan base idolizes him rather than correctly seeing him as broken. So yes, they most likely will position Rick as being also susceptible to the dino's plan because if they didn't wed get more cringeposting from people that're subtext illiterate.
Anyway your comment is just bad anyway; why is the most obvious plot for the episode, that Rick is yet again the only person in the world capable of solving the problem and thus justifiably smug and condescending, the one that the writers ought to write? Its nice that you arent in charge of who is on the writing team.
That last line was so raw. This seasons writing is fantastic
Reject humanity, go back to Jerry
I mean aside from all the incest stuff then yeah I guess
There's your low point, when you had a job, you were better than Jerry, now with no need for jobs, you basically are the same as jerry
@@livinglegend2055 If they add too much incest, it will totally ruin the whole season. Dan Harmon needs to be fired and that goes for the new writers too.
@@nas0518 I think the gross humor is more of a Justin Royland thing. He came up with the pilot's plot. And don't forget how this series was created.
"I do think it's funny you're all basically Jerry now". Comedy gold! This season has been brilliant!
To be fair, Beth had it coming.
Now Beth finally realize how Jerry felt even when he got fired from his old job.
Can't wait to see Jerry's take on the situation next week, the writing has been *chef's kiss*

Rick's attitude to the Dinosaur Utopia is basically how I reacted to the pandemic. Oh, no. I couldn't go to parties and people weren't allowed to touch me. My life changed so much.
Bruh! Same😂 I was already pretty introverted
Those are indeed all real dinosaur's names. I can't believe that they really name a dinosaur Dracorex Hogwartsia.
Hm... could there be a connection between this and Sam‘o‘nella coming back after years to make a video on taxonomy?

dude when it comes to naming things scientists sometimes choose between "interesting reasons" like references to things they like (the water bear _Neostygarctus lovedeluxe_ which is a jojo reference and was a reference to a Sade album, making it a reference^2) or people they hate ( the gender _Siegesbeckia spp._ named by Linnaeus himself after the botanist Johann Siegesbeck who criticized his work, since Linnaeus used plants' reproductive systems for his work, pissing off Linnaeus so much that he named an useless weed after him)
Well at least that Genus had a chance to be invalid
But at least it isn't a goddamn Thanos (yes Thanos is an actual Dinosaur name)
It’s weird to think Jerry and Rick have one of the best relationships in the family at this point.
Rick even called the rest of the family all basically Jerry now.

@@rattelv426 yea this season jerry is finally getting cut some slack, it's nice to see actually.
@@ragingnoob3603 Dude literally became a cuckold three episodes ago.
@@ragingnoob3603 In surprisingly many ways, even.
From his benefits of his kind nature all the way to how strong and capable Jerry can be given the right conditions.
You either die a Rick or live long enough to see yourself become a Jerry.
I love that whole "I was already doing whatever i want" comment. Rick obviously knows how to handle excess free time.
He regularly plays Roy doesnt he? I have a feeling that Roy is practically a free-time simulator if you play it that way.
I swear they better respect Jerry after this episode, now realizing people need purpose in their life to feel useful and fulfilled, with no responsibility left to do, it just leaves an empty feeling inside as if you literally have no place in the world that "you" live in....
This makes Jerry's seemingly "pathetic" behaviour throughout the show make sense, and why Cronenberg Universe Jerry was such a badass. As soon as Rick came into his life, it's all been going downhill. He was robbed of his purpose, his status as a father figure, and ability to provide for his family. Admittedly, it was mostly his fault, and Rick was right to call him a predator and not prey. But it all boils down to Jerry needing to be needed, and being able to do things on his own.
When Cronenberg Jerry had to save his family and survive, he became a badass. If Rick intervened at any moment, he wouldn't retreated back into his shell. Jerry's weakness is being so intimidated by Rick and his ability to sway the family dynamics against him (intentionally or not). Jerry's the most normal person and sane person in the show, IMO. He's pathetic compared to the rest of his badass family, but he's definitely more grounded. All he really needs is a job and he'd be 90% less pathetic.
There's never not purpose you could be fulfilling even in a situation like this. You just need to stop being stubborn about how you find it. The family needs to just adjust their perspective. It's all in what Rick said: "Why would I? I was already doing what I want."
I thought Morty would respect his dad by now after learning his father from the Cronenberg timeline beat the apocalypse. They're really underestimating Jerry.
yup. In a year suicides will start.
So long as they don’t let Jerry get all smug about, he should be ok.
Suddenly, the whole joke about a simulation running at minimum power creating the perfect life for Jerry is gonna be viewed differently
Guy’s greatest dream was to just be a water delivery driver.
No it won't
I honestly respect that.
Feeling appreciated for your job goes a super long way
Can’t believe that world peace was achieved thanks to Dinosaurs.
This show literally made my childhood dreams a reality.
Just a shame Beth’s probably going to ruin it all
@@cominguponinfra-red3038 I will hate her with every fiber of my being for the duration of the show if that happens.
I mean, unless it turns out these Dinosaurs are secretly evil and want to eradicate humanity in order to reclaim the Earth or something.
@@Laserbeak316 Hopefully it’s the second option
But I’m not going to put it past Rick & Morty to do something extra edgy or someone like Beth does something obviously bad, it gets played off for laughs or whatever and it’s just another thing to add to the list to why I hate her
:/
The funny thing about this is that Rick could probably just solve all of humanity's problems with his science in the same way as the dinosaurs, and make everyone "All basically Jerry now" but he doesn't, because that's simply who he is
Probably because Rick knows how boring that is.
Like he said, he sits dead center on the alignment chart
probably already done it and got bored
The thing is, Rick is capable, but lazy. He could solve all of humanity's issues but that would also require careful management, balancing and maintenance. The dinos are willing to put the effort in, Rick isn't. Gets bored too quick and doesn't care enough to bother because hes already content
What? Cynical? To the point he thinks nothing matters so why bother?

The fact that we now know who Summers “TicTok fans” are explains a lot…
I feel like the writers are probably getting at something more true about TicTok than society probably wants to admit...
@Slow Decay There are literally billions of people using Tiktok, you expect all of them to be teenagers? Atleast 75% of Tiktok user are adults.

So yes, adults are the largest demographic online.
Millennials were the largest generation group in the U.S. in 2021, with an estimated population of 72.19 million. Born between 1981 and 1996, Millennials recently surpassed Baby Boomers as the biggest group, and they will continue to be a major part of the population for many years.
This season has been a night and day improvement over last. I’m so invested in the portal-less, one dimension (but certainly not one dimensional) family drama
nice wordplay.
Now if we can only increase the incést 20%, we'll be set.
This season is very family centered. So far each character has had an intimate interaction with Rick. Not only that but almost each episode has been very Jerry focused in an odd way. I’m guessing this episode will be less about Rick this time and more about the family and how they are towards each other (especially Jerry). I also have a theory that Jerry plays a more significant role later in the storyline and that’s why they keep alluding to Rick accepting Jerry and slowly becoming close to each other.
Jerry is gonna permanently die??
It’s more fun when they can’t portal travel and have to stay home now
@@SerAbiotico i dont think so, i think thatd ruin the dynamic of the show. the show is already quite lean in the sense that no main character (the family) is un-needed. they all serve a vert specific role in the dynamic and story and so losing any one of them would cause the balance to be lost
edit: plus jerry serves as the straight man for all the wacky nonsense and for the scifi stuff. hes the regular dude who notices how strange or amazing things are giving the audience something to hold onto. morty also used to serve this purpose but hes arched out to the point where he doesn’t do that anymore. and the straight man role both in comedy and in scifi is a very necessary and important role and so i think in a real way hes one of the most valuable characters behind rick and morty themselves.
Oh no Jerrys gonna die isn't he
i think ironically our jerry will be the factor that lead to prime rick being defeated, not in a physically way like what season 1 jerry tried but he get through to rick in a similar fashion to how morty stopped rick from chasing prime rick, it be the connection jerry has with our rick that bring prime rick down
Jerry got all the hate for being useless. Now everyone is useless! 😂
Now they're gonna get the taste of what it feels like to be him for a change.
Rick doesn't hate Jerry because he's useless he hates him because a pathetic man knocked up his daughter and ruined her life and also because he's annoying.
@@destroyerblackdragon In which universe did I say Rick hates Jerry because he is useless? xD And no, Beths live got ruined regardless of Jerry. We know this since season 1 for gods sake xD Rick is or was just a bitter old man with nothing left, so he lashed out to Jerry.
@@DundG Beth's life wasn't ruined in the alt universe she was a succesful surgeon she was just a bit lonely plus her and jerry got together in that universe too so she basically had it all except kids.
@@destroyerblackdragon Not his real daughter, though, in his original universe his daughter was killed in childhood. To Rick the Smith families across the multiverse are just convenient, replaceable stopovers on his way to killing the Rick that murdered his family, but it seems like he may be slowly warming up to these families through his prolonged interactions with them. Of course it all really depends on the whims of whoever is writing the episodes.
Honestly with no work and no global danger to worry about, you basically can use all that free time to hang out, do hobbies, and literally anything fun. You wont have to of wasted a chunk of your life doing a job you hated or trying to make a change for the world that will only make a little difference. Its pretty much a utopia except there are some people out there that enjoy working
Wonder what the scientists are doing. With all that free time and free resources, they would have an unlimited budget if money meant anything anymore.
I'd take dinosaur world, so long as Video games are still in development as passion projects.
I'm retired, the only thing keeping me from being Rick is money. If everything was free there would be no stopping me
I mean, they could still technically work, it’s just that they don’t NEED to do so, it’s just a matter of not conforming and just carry on doing your thing, if the dinos are just that keen to help/serve, it shouldn’t be hard for people to find a way to carry on with their previous work life.
People enjoy being useful. Since there are no needs, they have literally no use.
Anyone notice Rick seems a lot healthier this season? I wonder if it's because he hasn't been using the portal gun.
He also doesn’t seem to be drinking as heavily as he originally used too, especially with the disappearance of his iconic droll that usually is present when he does drink
His voice also changed a lot too! It seems more monotone and chill than his usual harsh tone.
@@octabodemes I guess we're seeing Rick being genuinely happy living with his family
@@Timmothy_plays Then we know what's likely to happen to the man who hated himself so much that he put his reality on a loop, now that's he's enjoying life again.
I think its the fact that he has a chance, to grow and not only that avenge his wife something he’s been wanting for so long is almost within his grasp
I can tell this episode is going to be underrated for the ages.
isn't it already being hyped up, from this clip alone?
At least for the Holocene Epoch.

If anyone's curious about the Dino names in the song...
- Zuniceratops christopheri, an older relative of Triceratops that demonstrates a transition between small early ceratopsian dinos and the big flashy ones like Triceratops.
- 'Elvisaurus', a nickname for Cryolophosaurus ellioti, which has a unique bony crest on top of it's head that looks a bit like Elvis' hairstyle.
- Bambiraptor feinbergi, a small raptor known only from a single immature specimen. Hence, it was named after the Disney character Bambi for it's young age.
- Erectopus superbus, a carnivorous dinosaurs related to Allosaurus. The name means 'upright foot'.
- Dracorex hogwartsia, a now defunct species as it has been found to be a young specimen of Pachycephalosaurus wyomingensis. Seems the person who named it was a Harry Potter fan.
- Gojirasaurus quayi, a primitive carnivorous dinosaur named after Godzilla, due to it's exceptional size next to it's relatives.
- Vulcanodon karibaensis, a long-necked herbivore long considered the earliest example of true sauropods. It's name eludes to it's remains being discovered nearby lava flows.
- Sauroniops, a giant carnivore named after Sauron from LOTR. Conversely, the only fossil of it is a bone that would've sat above the eye socket.
- Phuwiangosaurus, a titanosaurian sauropod named after the Phu Wiang mountain range of Northeastern Thailand where it's bones were recovered.
Hopefully this has been interesting trivia!
My man Jerry really catching W's this entire season

"You're all basically Jerry now"
Serves them right
1:20-1:25 This is a low point for Beth… and probably the rest of humanity.
The biggest issue creating a utopia first has to handle is removing peoples dependance on being told what to do. People arent good at coping when there isnt a set answer placed in front of them; most people cant come to their own answers, so they look to their neighbors and colleagues for answers and when they see confusion and dissappointment they cant help but reflect this.
People really are the mirror to their communities and family.
So we really are all just Jerry after all, except for Rick because he already knew that the answer was to seek out your own happiness regardless of what others are doing.
This is it. People need to learn to live for themselves. They needn't be stuck at home, they could be out doing things. Meeting new people, trying new hobbies. Creating things - they even have the Dinosaurs there to back them up.
Hmm, I wouldn't go as far as to say that people need to be told what to do. I would classify it as people needing a purpose to live for, which is contradictory if some people live to solve problems. It has been a thought of mine that machines are similar to animals and other living things. But, natural creatures and plants are nature's machines.
Seems like a utopia unless your the kind of person that enjoys working and or feeling useful.
Look so long as they don't stop me from brewing beer, they can't stop me from doing what I want.
@@DISTurbedwaffle918 That's what people don't seem to get. Yeah, in a utopian society where humans aren't responsible for things anymore and are just allowed to live without limits, it does mean the people who thrive on feeling useful are going to be set back a bit when they're forced to confront the fact that they're just as useful as everyone else. But it also means that there are ways of being useful apart from the norm; the guy who just wanted to build birdhouses, for example, could literally sit and build birdhouses as much as he wanted to. If he really wanted to, he could expand his knowledge or expertise. He could spend the rest of his life making the same old birdhouse, sure, but he could also learn more intricate builds, experiment with different paints and styles, and enjoy the limitless potential of nonperfection. Just as you could do the same with brewing beer. You will never make the "perfect" beer, and attempting to strive for anything resembling perfection in anything is the path to madness -- even if you achieve it, that would only mean your goal has been met, there is nothing else down that path, and you will be forced to pick another focus. Instead, you can just keep shooting for "better" or "different" and your life will always have meaning and worth.
@@MasterAndreRaven As someone ones said in a Movie/game i dont remember about dreams (which in this scenario is the same as goals) :"Well that the wonderful thing about Dreams. ones your Dream comes true, you can set out and find a new one."
i might have misquoted here a little ,it has been awhile. by the way if someone know where this is from, please post, cause it kind of bothers me that i cant remember.
I don't think it's people who want to work or feel useful. It's people who want conflict or drama. The world isn't in chaos because people can't fix it. Some people want chaos.
@@mermidion7552 Unfortunately that quote flies in the face of literally everything we know about human psychology. It's not that humans want conflict, it's that we need it. Here’s a list of all the dinosaurs in the little song
1. Zuniceratops
2. Elvisaurus (technically this is nickname for Cryolophosaurus and not its real name)
3. Bambiraptor
4. Erectopus
5. Dracorex hogwartsia (technically an invalid genus now since it’s fossils were revealed to actually be that of juvenile pachycephalosaurus)
6. Gojirasaurus (another invalid genus)
7. Vulcanodon
8. I honestly can’t understand what she is saying
9. Huayangosaurus
If someone can understand what she says between Vulcanodon and Huayangosaurus pls let me know. It sounds kinda like Ceraniops but that’s not any dinosaur I know of and I can’t find anything online about it either.
Sauroniops. Check the subtitles
I'm so glad that one of "my" dinosaur species is mentioned in an episode of Rick & Morty (Sauroniops)! 😀
Favorite one? Edit.: looked it up, you were among the people who first described it in 2012. Nice meeting you here.
That's so badass! Also yay a fellow Tolkien fan.

So many good jokes in just the short table scene. This season just keeps them coming.
Ive been waiting for an episode that examines the pros and cons to a utopia, just never expected Rick to not be cynical or that it would be done by dinosaurs, 😂
Say what you will about Rick, he does not care if it doesn’t negatively affect or inconvenience him in any way. Live and let live kind of guy until something is in his way of doing whatever he wants
I bet they destroy the dinos and prove Nietzsche right. if we had a perfect paradise we'd tear it apart just looking for something different, and purpose.
I love that morty is so broken at this point that he’s the only one that also sees this as a net positive
Every episode of season 6 has been top tier its been one of my favorites so far
The only dinosaur in that list that technically had a fake name was 'Elvisaurus' its true name is Cryolophasaurus, thats just its nickname
Watch them force Rick to ditch this universe and go to another just so they can feel needed by a society.
Or worse, they murder all the Dinos..
It's the utopian mouse experiment.
They split into two groups and went extinct after two generations.
The bruised ones who fought for no good reason.
The pretty ones who just groomed themselves.
How many people overcome this. I mean we 7 billion people. I am sure some find purpose in them self.
I was thinking the same about that episode. Depriving an intelligent species from purpose is far from a Utopia as the experiment showed
What's the point of them even grooming themselves in this experiment?
Is uncontrollably grooming supposed to be the opposite of fighting uncontrollably lol.. Sounds like they just enslaved mice to do what they wanted them to do and called it a utopia experiment. How very human.

4) Like all social creatures, rats have menopause.
It wasn't rats communism, it's ghetto without family subsidios

Jerry got a whole lot of love this season. I like that
that last part made me physically gasp because throughout the entire show they’ve been screaming at jerry about getting a job and now they’re all unemployed LIKE JERRY
Beth's reaction to realizing she's on the same level as Jerry is priceless
This episode was a banger and I didn't even watch it yet.
Jerry Catching another W. Less Rick and Morty and more Jerry and Family, amirite?
Such a Jerry thing to say...which is good now, goddamn
...that Jerry dig at the end though!!
🤣🤣
This episode has one of my absolute favorite jokes when the dinosaurs are answering human’s questions and get asked, “what do you do when you want to kill yourself?” “You don’t do that” like it’s the stupidest question they’ve ever been asked lol.
The final line just salts the wound
"The dinosaurs kicked the pedos off of tik tok" lol if only
Raptor shaking his head… that was too good, I can’t.
This season Jerry is definitely getting his respect atleast far more than the previous seasons
This season has been my favorite so far. I love the commitment to previously considered insane ideas that most shows would just trash by the end of the episode, such as the BethxBethxJerry Adventure. It's an adventure. I didn't spoil anything.
would anyone else actually listen to the song because I think its fire 😂
“You’re all basically Jerry now”
Chalk up another win for Jerry this season it seems
Everyone is now Jerry. But if everyone is Jerry then who is Jerry to everyone else?
The Jerryist Jerry
Honestly that song is pretty soothing. Would like a full version!
"You're all basically Jerry now." O o f , He really called them out like that now.
Gotta love how Rick's life doesn't change.
Rick: "I do think it's kinda funny that you're all basically Jerry now."
Beth: "F ***!"
Me:😂😅😂
Him:😂😅😂
“You’re basically Jerry now.” Is probably Rick’s most savage insult.
Honestly, this is amazing!
This episode is like a combined parody of Dinotopia and the 1983 series V, but where humanity is bored of living in a perfect dino-human utopia, and the alien dinosaurs are not evil or devious. The only bad things the alien dinosaurs did was attract the ire of angry meteors onto the worlds they sought to help, and publish Jerry's book without crediting him. Denying Jerry credit for a book they helped make popular was a pretty low blow.
The horse "operation game" gag has me dyin over here!
I genuinely spit out my coffee at that ending. OMG that hit hard!!!!
Yes Beth. That is the appropriate response.
"Those are real dinosaur names"
For 30 seconds I really thought that was a real dinosaur names.
And yes, even the Erectopus.
They are. Erectopus even has its own Wikipedia page. Brilliant song.
This song is a parody of an old song that is tickling my brain but won't come to me. Anyone else hear it?
Meanwhile Jerry is enjoying sorting out trash with the dinosaurs😂
I love how Beth's reaction to the dinosaurs fixing everything is really realistic, and refusing to believe that humanity is not perfectly fine and keeps thinking that they didn't cause as many problems as they are being told.
Funny... I always thought aliens would be the ones fixing the Earth, I like how this show put a Twist on it with Dinosaurs 🦖☮️🦕

Jerry and Rick are the two faces of the same coin, this is confirmed by how in the utopian society that dinos created outsmarting rick jerry s book is basically a sacred text. The only one that truly defeats rick again and again trashing on his ideals is Jerry. And it s a perfect rivalry because they re the most powerful and the most impotent humans while also they both dont really believe in anything but their own gains.
Episode 5 of this season is hands down the funniest episode of Rick and Morty so far IMO. I still laughing a good 10 minutes after the episode.
I always like the episodes that have their own original song in them
When the dinosaur shook his head "no" I died laughing 😂😂😂😂😂
i cant wait too see this one i smell another good ep
OMG i like this season the most if only there was a way to connect it to the silver cops and this its gold
“So what’s this for! Phone calls?”
Lmao!!!
1:20 best line ever heard 👂 👌 🙌
Man, im pumped for this one. This season I think by far outshines the last season. The only real saving grace of season 5 were the last 3 eps
This season just keeps getting better and better 😂
That you're all basically Jerry now
Best insult ever in whole series
oh wow the animation looks so slick and vibrant. can't wait to watch this season
This is why people need hobbies to dedicate their lives to
yeah I agree. I can understand why a sudden surplus of free time would at first feel liberating, and then feel boring - but it means you need to pick up some hobbies. Learn new languages, instruments, etc - create something. There are definitely people who would not be able to adapt to a 'jobless utopia' though.
