You have mentioned something so important regarding auras and migraines. But what’s the alternative treatment for these patients? What works for prevention of migraines when patients suffer of constant auras and migraines and continue to ovulate without a period for more than one year? I noticed that ovulation continues to happen even after not having a period for more than one year . when I’m ovulating my hair falls down, moodiness, have mild acne, bloating and then followed by aura symptoms, followed by migraines. During perimenopause, I noticed OV every two weeks or back to back and symptoms of migraines w/ aura are worst and relentless. I have been dismissed by my GYN doctor. The neurologist does not want to treat w/ hormones but all other alternatives such as gabapentin, magnesium, complex B and topamax have no prevented them . Ubrelvy sometimes works, Keval is more effective but appears to have a rebound effect. Fiurocet is not ideal even though it works faster. Zoomig sometimes works after 3 hours, as well as Excedrin. Women should be educated about this topic. Thank you
