I wouldn’t say the MRI is useless. I had one today because I have sudden onset of migraine auras (everyday for months) & stroke-like symptoms (may be hemiplegic migraine etc). So they can’t just diagnose it as migraines without ruling out possible brain tumors, stroke, etc. That’d be dangerous

I’ve also had previous head injuries and migraines don’t run in family btw. I did have some traditional type migraine without auras after my last head injury here and there but nothing like now. Now I have all these weird neurological deficits and prior to that was diagnosed with narcolepsy which they are suspecting possible epilepsy now instead of narcolepsy. Who knows but the MRI is necessary. Even if it doesn’t actually show anything.

This will certainly help with awareness and importantly the PRIORITY of treating debilitating migraines with appropriate care. Now the advocacy fight is getting these therapies noticed in the IRA (Inflation Reduction Act) calendar.

Thank you so very much ladies. I was looking forward to this being uploaded to CZcams since I wasn't able to attend the live view. Aimovig and now Anjovy have seriously changed not only my life, but also the lives of my husband and kids who had to pick up the broken pieces of me when I was so constantly ill. She don’t have them I can tell! Headache phhf! 😡 and u keep saying brief.. what!? Mine last a hour to 3! And I have 4 to 6 or more every 24 hours on a good day! I’ve had them as bad as 18 to 20! I’ve had nervous breakdowns! I can’t cope when their severe different times of the years! Mine never ever stop! They just started one day many years ago and never stopped! I have PTSD from this. I can’t leave my house they happen so much. I sleep when I can. Because they happen day and night.. well. I just stay home. I scare people if I’m out. No one can help me. I also have Trigeminal Neualgia. Amd the cluster triggers the Trigeminal! So even tho my brain surgery worked, cluster forces it to kick in! So I get hit with both at same time! Two of the worst pains on the planet hitting me at same time on same time! I’ve had just cluster, and just Trigeminal hit. It’s less painful. With both hitting at same time. Omg! Double the massive pain! Life kicking me while I’m down! Hard!

I have had all my life aura migraine with a mild headache, as well as a very bad case of motion sickness, but 8 years ago I began to have attacks of vestibular migraine (disorientation, dizziness, vertigo, nausea, violent vomiting and after that a full-blown headache - and all the time I have to be completely motionless and my eyes closed to try to ward off the horrible vertigo and nausea). Some triggers: bad sleep, stress, motion sickness. But all my attacks have come after looking at the screen of a laptop or a phone. My neurologist found me one medicine which I can take immediately and it works: hydroxyzine in a liquid form.

I'd like to share what worked for me. What you are describing is worse than the migraines I get...however, I think this will work for cluster headaches...this may seem too simple and you may think to dismiss it, but because of how it worked for me, I am convinced it can work for you. 3 things: Most likely your body has contaminants like heavy metal, so stop using any non-stick pots and pans and the like (basically, remove the source of contaminants; Do simple detox that includes soaking in baking soda and pink hamalizan salt or sea salt (you will find examples on youtube); And finally, add magnesium to your diet; in supplements yes, however if you really want success, have a raw vegan diet along with a good magnesium supplement ....its easy to say this wouldn't work, but, try it for yourself. Off-course, its like building muscles, its takes persistent consistency, so be encouraged.

You should always take D3 with K2. (K2 distributes D3 properly to the bones and other places so it is not building up in the arteries!) I developed arthritis (sausage toes, morning stiffness etc.) after a car accident that wasn't my fault mind you, and after learning about Boron and D3/K2 from Dr. Berg online, i started taking 50,000 IU of D3/K2 DAILY. Yes, you read that right, dont make me repeat it!!! It is safe and anyone with a chronic or crazy autoimmune condition needs to FLOOD their body with it and needs a dose far higher than a maintenance dose that a healthy person would take. I reversed my condition completely with 50,000 IU daily after two months. Believe it.

I've had cluster headaches for about 40 years and at times it's been sheer hell. That said, a couple of years ago I was given a greater occipital nerve block (often referred to as a GON block or just a nerve block). What a life saver! I've not had any cluster headaches since. A GON block is an injection of local anaesthetic and steroid around the greater occipital nerve (GON), at the back of the head and top of the neck, designed to reduce the inflammation of tissue and relieve headache. It's literally changed my life as I was in a very bad way.

Definitely some great hacks for me to adopt. I currently don’t have a migraine bag but I’m going to create one. The soda can is a quick easy one. A somewhat costly option is an eye massager device. I use the Eyeris 3, which I purchased during the holidays for a discount. Either heat or ice can be added. Castor packs with heat give me some relief also. And using a neck light to use less light at night or in dark rooms.

I'm 47, i've been having migraines everytime I had my period since I gave birth 17 yrs ago... But just lately I've been experiencing one sided headaches which was so severe..it even wakes me from sleep. I thought it was just migraine just in different form. and I suffered from dizziness too everytime I have them. Just last week, I felt like the right side of my skull was being pierced with a knife...my right eye was so so painful i had tears coming out of it.... Yesterday I woke up dizzy so i just stayed in bed, as everytime I moved I wanted to throw up... then at about 9pm, those piercing pain on the right side began, then my right eye started to hurt, even my right cheek and temple were throbbing... I wanted to cry from the intense pain but i knew it wouldnt help... it lasted maybe 2 hours or more...
