- I visited Bucharest, Romania and quizzed Romanians on their geography knowledge. I showed them three different country shapes. If they were able to name at least one of those three, they won 20€. BUT: the shapes were 180° turned around. Here's what happened.

How can you not know Italy? That boot is easy to recognize no matter how you look at the shape.

I am from Bulgaria. I am a huge patriot. I am also fairly good with geography and can greatly guess each country based on only the shape.
I remember watching an Americans doing this challenge, and I was like "how can't they tell their own country but upside down".

@@cerebrummaximus3762 That reminds me of trying to play online geography quizzes that ask for the capitals that begin with a certain letter like "a" or "c". Sounds easy, but I have to think about every damn country to get any of the answers! Very hard.

I went to a pub quiz a few years back where we were given a sheet of country shapes but they were all rotated or flipped. It’s harder than it seems.
if its not a well known country shape its even hard without them being flipped. Most african countries id have NO chance haha
