Echoes of You

- One of my many unfinished projects that have been bugging me for some years now. Took a long time to finish the song and record the video during insane workloads these past months at my daytime job. But it's done now.
This was originally intended as song dedicated to my late mom, but we never got around to make lyrics and it just fizzled out. It became an instrumental track after all, still dedicated to the loss of those dear to me.
Used a lot of Roland MKS as usual and some Yamaha. Even a good deal of Ensoniq gear too as well as Nexus4 for the intro arpeggios in the background.

Great song, thank you.
You are extremely talented. Another great tune!
I love this tune. Everything sounds so bright and shiny. It actually clipped my headphones lol
I'm always happy to scroll through my youtube and find a new Anders track.
It's finally here! I have been waiting so long for this one!!
Beautiful piece. Always look forward to new music from you.

Greetings from Mexico Anders, congrats on this piece, I really like it, and I've been a fan of yours since I found your music thanks to 8 bit keys, especially of the "Discovision" theme, such a great one. I'm also a fellow musician and I've been learning quite a lot from your music. Thank you so much!
Amazing song!!
Dang it...this is so good! Listened to it for the first time this morning...way to make my morning better! So much talent!
YEEESSSSS!!!! A new tune and it's amazing! Your mom would be very proud of you for this fantastic piece! It's so strange that you are such an amazing musician and yet the world barely know you. You if any should be able to live off your music with ease. Thank you for all the work you do.
I just found this channel, and never before have I thought to myself "Every track on this channel is a straight-up banger" so quickly.
Subscribed! Please keep making music, you're incredible!
Thank you! It's very nice to hear that. I'll keep on pushing those tunes out. ;)
Ohh man.I listened to this song almost all the day, and now it still playing in my head, I can't sleep. At least is a nice one.
Anders, you never fail to amaze me! This tune is so sweet and light. I did even feel a slight flavor of Harold Faltermeyer's vibes at couple of places. Thank you!
If I managed to get some Faltermeyer vibes, I would consider that a success.
Yet another superb production, Anders! Greetings from New Zealand.
Stumbled upon your work for the first time not to long ago and wowzers! Quickly becoming one of my favorite musical artists! Just sooo many bangers its insane! 🤯 Keep up the amazing work!!!
Made my head bob. I approve!
Bobbing is always good! 🤘🏼😎
Another happy tune from Anders is always appreciated.
Absolutely top quality music as always, Anders. I can tell it was a labour of love. It's such a joy to listen to your creations. I love when you release new music.
Verry nice! Thank you, again, Anders! This was so very worth finishing.
Love it, video and music so well done 😇
Calm and uplifting! It contains a lot of hope and really brightened my day 😌
Love this! All your music always sounds so uplifting!
--I keep listening to this on my SoundCloud and, I get these random vocal feels & lyrics well up inside me... I even hear it, the vocals a la Pet Shop Boys/Tears For Fears..
Can I write some lyrics for your track, mate?
Love the Home Alone T Shirt :)
Nice work 👌 thank you for continuing to share 👍
Nice tune, and I love the glassy synth sound!
Sooo good.
Awesome! Didn't actually know you could play the guitar 😆
Haha.. well, it’s usually just strumming bar chords. And to be honest… it’s just for illustration. The actual guitars on this song are two slightly different accoustic guitar patches from my two Roland CM-64 modules hard panned Left and Right. Played by hand with a sustain pedal creates a wide stereo image and a pretty convincing and cheap alternative to real strummed guitars. 🤓😄
Sounds like the instrumental of a classic by the Pet Shop Boys or smth, nice choon
What is this? Synth Pr0n? I love it :D
I think I heard part of this somewhere... but where was it?
(IT IS JUST A RHETORICAL QUESTION!)
Hehe, yeah you did actually hear it in one of The 8-Bit Guy’s videos last year. It was only a test version back then. ;)
@@AndersEngerJensen Yeah, you got it :)
Yes, what a great tune. Just a question, has anything happened to your upload of the knightmare theme?
Thanks! :D Yeah, when I was monetizing my channel, I was getting reports that some content was preventing that, however being delightfully cryptic as CZcams is… they wouldn’t tell me which one(s). So I was removing stuff I thought was duplicated and/or copyright infringing and that was one of them. I have been meaning to record some playing those parts and replace the BBC video which I think was causing the copyright issues, but haven’t had the time yet. :)
@@AndersEngerJensen ah. Sorry about that
Hi Anders! This tune is beautiful as usual, could you upload an instrumental version of it?
It’s available on Bandcamp. Check the link in the description :)
@@AndersEngerJensen Sounds great, Thanks!
Hi, I'm from Brazil and a fan of your work. I've tried contacting you via CZcams comments. I wanted to use a track of yours to play drums on top in video...
Hi. Everyone can use my music in their videos as backgrounds etc as long as they credit the use in the video(s) and link to my channel(s) in the description.
(What’s not accepted is re-uploading the songs as their own, without relevant creative alterations and/or selling the songs without approval etc). :)
@@AndersEngerJensen do you have Instagram?
oooh this song is great, Anders, can i use it in my youtube videos? 😊
Thank you. Yes, as with all my music people can use it as background music in their videos as long as the song(s) are credited and links to my channel(s) are provided in the description.
@@AndersEngerJensen omg, thank you so much for making these wonders and letting us use them, you are the best!!! 🥰💖
With energy prices these days, making music on retro gear must be getting quite expensive! How many watts does your studio use when you power up all your toys?
About 2500-2800W if everything is on. But I rarely need absolutely everything going at the same time though. I do check the prices and try to time when I work because it is indeed making an impact these days compared to what prices were during summer of 2020. ;)
