Alpha Centauri B

- This is from my "In Space" album, which came from an idea back in 2018. I had just made Alpha Polaris, a song I just intended for background music for The 8-Bit Guy and his videos. After releasing it, it became popular with a lot of fans, so I soon made another one, Alpha Centauri B. This song was used by The Brick Channel and then got a lot of plays from his videos.
I got the idea of making an album with only slow, spaced out songs and put them on vinyl and cassettes. Some four years later, I finally got my crap together and finalised enough songs to actually fill this album, so here you are. 11 songs in more or less the same vibe, however some turned out to be a little more upbeat than the first ones, but hopefully this is a good thing. Vinyl and MC is coming later this year.

💖
8-bit guy brought me here.
me too :D great nostalgic music btw !
me too, while he was restoring a Commodore 64.
I recorded it on my reel to reel tape recorded and I listening this fantastic song min. 1 time at the week...
It's like a new 80s song. I love your sound!!!
This man is the second coming of Alan Parsons. He's taken a relatively straightforward progression and just the faintest hint of melody to carry it, but, the orchestration is so wonderfully complex and layered -- and for electronic music, the "individual performances" have plenty of nuanced variation to give it character and keep me discovering awesome little tidbits of it with each new listen. If the 8-Bit Guy weren't already using it, I'd love to have snapped up the opportunity to use it in my flight videos...
Thank you, that was very nice to hear. I really like it when people look past the exterior of a song like you did! 👏🏼😃 You can of course use it if you want, I only require people to credit the songs they use and if possible, link to either of my channels. :)
Anders Enger Jensen .....dude this song is stunning......ever heard lost in space Paul Hardcastle.......your song is up their with the best......love it.
@@AndersEngerJensen This is too generous! I'll make sure to use your music at the first chance, it's so sweet!

Yup, I will rotate once every 5x10^91 years
This song reminds me of one of those epic 80's/90's movies I watched as a kid and just takes me back... I could listen to this for hours 🎧
I've been listening to electronic music for 20 yrs there is only a handful of music that tears me up. Such an emotional piece. Congratulations
Why am I constantly repeating this song? Because it fills me with hope. Something unusual in today's hopeless environment
Nice (chill) progression, build-up and flow. I like the snare sound :)
Absolutely love this track. listened to it more times than I can remember now. It's especially superb when driving late at night on your own cross-country at speed. The mix of gentle repetative bass and an interesting melody is just wonderful. More like this please!
This song barely made it through the space teleport, just in time for the 2020’s
This song will help us get thru 2020
Watching smoke pouring up from the pipes of giantic Chinese factories and power plants in Winston's video with this track in the background felt so epic and eerie at the same time.

8 bit guy brought me here. Fabulous 80s vibe. Brings back really fond memories of Miami Vice, 12 inch remixes of The Pet Shop Boys, Frankie Goes to Hollywood, Tears for Fears etc.. Great work Anders 👍🏼
Thank you! Glad you like it and think so. :D
Exactly. Takes me back 35 years in a heartbeat
this tune is way too good for us. we don't deserve it
This song makes me nostalgic for a time I never experienced.
It has a majestic wonder to it. It’s got a very nice melancholy, yet hopeful vibe going on.
Yes, Lego guy brought me here originally, but then I stuck this in my playlist and come back every week or so because it slaps.
The 8-Bit Guy has led with here. Great! Some parts remind me of the music from the point-and-click adventure "Hotel Dusk: Room 215". A mixture of romance, longing and nostalgia.
I think this is one of your best tracks Anders. Just had an eargasm :):):)
SerpentZa brought me here.
Hmm.. this is beyond me, could you enlighten me on this? :)
@@AndersEngerJensen I mean vlogger SerpentZA used one of your tracks in his latest video...

"So I'm gonna open up the case right now, and there are only 2 screws keeping the case together. Watch out for this little reset button on the side; If you don't see it while you try to open up the CPU, you'll just make a mess. [Music cuts] Now let's talk about (insert microcomputer name here)."
Haha, yeah, something like that :D

Brick Experiment Channel brought me here. Love this song!
I can’t convey how much I love this song…….(video is spot on too!!!)
I was looking for this music my entire life!!!
This one sticks out to me from the "In Space" album. Really great track, good vibes galore! Thanks man!
Thanks! :) Yes, there are some discrepancies in the form of some of these older songs were made back in 2016-2020 so there were different approaches to each one. And the newer tracks were actually intended as backing tracks for youtube videos, but I felt they could complete the Space album that’s been in the back of my mind for some time now. Originally I had thought of making all the songs in this style as this one here, but you know how things tend to change as you go along. :)
Good stuff as always Anders! Always happy to listen to your wonderful songs, especially after a long and stressful day at work.
Thanks! Good to hear that. Relax and open a beer/soda is what it's all about after work indeed. :)
I've had this on repeat and in my head (when I'm not listening to it) for two days now. I really wish more synthwave-y songs were this jammy.
Still trying to figure out how this channel only has 15k subs... worth way more
This is a very gentle and a slightly nostalgic feeling i am gettimg from listening to the piece. Thank you for the experience! I really enjoyed listening!

Yes, checking in from Brick Experiment Channel. Though I'm not sure which visualization is more epic. The eternal demigod minifig who will witness the heat death of the universe, or this amazing galaxy and spacecraft one.

This track is the business. Couldn't have found it without Serpentza
Heard your music on the GOOGOL connect artifact. You've got a new big fan. Love it. I used to make some of my own electronic tunes and you've inspired me to try to pick it back up. Cheers!
The wind at the end is a great way to end such a subdued/upbeat track. :)

I've been getting more Spotify recommendations for this artist and have to say he's a far better artist than he gets credit for. Shocked this doesn't have more views, I expect this channel to be huge in a year or two.
I think its still my favorite. Reminds me of a science fiction book I reed when I was 13

Man, I totally fell in love with this track. It's one of the very few in existence that I can play on an endless loop without ever tiring of it. Would love to hear more in this style.
Gorgeously lush and deep grooves...
This would have to be my favourite composition of yours Anders. But I like many of them. It gives a feeling of hope. Thank you for making your music. I get a lot of joy from it.
