Alpha Polaris

- This is from my "In Space" album, which came from an idea back in 2018. I had just made Alpha Polaris, a song I just intended for background music for The 8-Bit Guy and his videos. After releasing it, it became popular with a lot of fans, so I soon made another one, Alpha Centauri B. This song was used by The Brick Channel and then got a lot of plays from his videos.
I got the idea of making an album with only slow, spaced out songs and put them on vinyl and cassettes. Some four years later, I finally got my crap together and finalised enough songs to actually fill this album, so here you are. 11 songs in more or less the same vibe, however some turned out to be a little more upbeat than the first ones, but hopefully this is a good thing. Vinyl and MC is coming later this year.

The 8-Bit Guy - Hudba
who else found this 2021 via @Brick Experiment Channel ?
Nice track!
Nope I found this way before from The8BitGuy
BEC brought me here.
Same
This is the sublime, authentic 80s synth music I'm craving for! More of this style please!
I feel like restoring a Commodore 64 now.
Welcome, fellow Brick Experiment Channel viewers, and congratulations on the journey of watching him create a 117 gear count 1:1 gear train!
How did you know😭

i just came lol
how??
Damn! ❤️
Dude you make the best study music, you're the reason I got 96% on my last exam, no joke, thanks so much
Congratulations, bro! ( or sis, whichever suits. Not assuming gender)
I'm two years late, but I agree with you 100 percent. This kind of thing is perfect because it provides pleasant background noise without stealing focus from what you're trying to work on. Thanks Anders!
Yes same
@@FSM_Reviews Just say Buddy
Congrats on a job well done!
1:50 reminds me of PlayStation X intro :D
Amazing song !!
Really wish I could find more synthwave that followed this slow relaxed style. Goes well with some of the struggling malls I cover.
Awesome stuff.
Takes me back to the best of the 80s
I'm getting some serious Unreal & Alexander Brandon vibes from this. Very nice work!
Added to my Synthwave list immediately when hearing it at 8-Bit Guy's channel.
I don't see stars and galaxies. I see the 8-bit guy restoring an old commodore 64 computer.
😄😄
This brings me back to... uhh when I was young. And I really, really like it!

This is definitely up my alley. Reminds me of the 80s. Late Friday nights. Ahhhh......those were the days.
Came for the DiscoVision, stayed for the Alpha Polaris.
Chill and beautiful bro! very pleasing to the ear, nice transitions and great use of ambiance vs dry sounds.
Oh my brain is so pleased with this
This is absolutely stunning! Have you ever considered doing more ambient tracks? I'm certain that you would make some beautiful ambient compositions! :D
Thanks :) Yeah, It's in the pipeline.. just have so many other ideas I've been wanting to complete first. There will be more like this too. ;)
You're welcome! I really love all of your stuff, but I really like the slower-paced electronic music as well as the synthpop releases. :D
@@AndersEngerJensen Please
I don't see planets and stars. I see the 8 bit guy doing restoration to commidor 64.
What an absolute amazing hit! Feels like 70s California driving on a highway and find myslef floating in the milky way the next second... Beautiful
After about a solid 8 months of only listening to your Alpha Centauri B track, I discovered you had a plethora of other songs for me to discover. I was not disappointed, and this is an amazing and chill song! Great job, mate!
aight time to binge watch 8-Bit Guy again
Anders knocks it out of the park again! A chill track to keep you cool during this heatwave.
This tune is unreal
This should keep ya cool during the summer.
Every time I close my eyes while listening to this music, I imagine myself being with David (8-Bit guy) and my friend Roland.
Very nice beat! This kind of Relaxation music is straight down my alley! It kind of reminds me of a couple of Bubblegum Crisis tunes, cool! :D
Never have I known I needed this genre of music until now, glad I dug this up out of curiosity, keep up the Awesome jams
Love this track! So chill, so fluid, and so tranquil without being torpifying. I could really go for more tracks like this and Alpha Centauri B. It's like the heartbeat of the Milky Way galaxy.
I love this video, it puts you in a dreamy space-age kind of feel and it is relaxing too.
It's a really smooth groove. Thanks for the nice start to my Sunday!
Very Nice! Thank you very much!!! God Bless!!!
The beggining faintly reminds me of Space Quest for some reason, very atmospheric
Really layed back! Great production, and writing. I'm lovin' it!
Great stuff as always my man.
this reminds me of how it's made in a way
Man this is so good
You've got a new sub, my Norwegian friend. Your music is simply the some of the most consistently awesome stuff I've ever heard in my life.
Man this is so cool
You are the most underrated artist on yt no joke...
Jan Hammer’s Beyond The Minds Eye influences perhaps? Sounds amazing! Also reminds me of the 90s demo scene. Great memories.
Alpha Polaris absolutely pops!!! This is totally awesome!!!!

That tune is so well produced!

Did andyone else think of the 8-bit Guy?
I found you from the 8-bit Guy’s channel quite a while ago and often wondered where his intro’s came from, but once he put a link to your music, I never got a chance to come here and thank you personally.
So thank you, so very much for sharing with the world your music which is so incredible, and which somehow has managed to combine my love for Running, Space and The ‘80’s!
Oh and just so you know, my favourites are this track, Alpha Centauri B and The Last Goddess - Carmen’s Theme (All amazing running songs for my countryside green roads) 😊🙏🏽
Thank you! Very glad to hear that.Good to know my music has an audience. Keep on running in the 80s, I don’t plan to stop just yet! 😎🎹🤩
Literally this sounds like a bejewled soundtrack

Mi first contact with this... whatever really is... was in a game, top gear 2, in my childhood. Its something right? this synthowave, but its more than synths palms, sunsets, retro-grids, 80's neons, and planets... its expansive, awakening, nostalgic, inspiring but its, non of these things... ever since i always have wonder what 'this' really is.
Came from BEC
The bitrate gets messed up a bit, but it sounds great on 1.25...

I like to use this in a puzzle game...
hopefully I can🥺
Is your music copyrighted, Mr. Jensen? I want to have music to record onto a cassette tape that isn't copyrighted BUT also sounds good, for a demonstration of the Sony CFD-S70.
Well as long as you don’t copy and sell tapes, you can surely record songs you buy from my webshop or BandCamp on your own tape for listening pleasures etc. :)
@@AndersEngerJensen Thanks! :)
This is amazing piece, so calm yet so powerful! I would very - very much like to use it. I don't want to infringe on your copyright. I understand that I can buy it for listening on SoundCloud, but how can I pay for use in a video?
Edman Just use it and credit my channels. It’s usually fine :)
@@AndersEngerJensen: Will do! Thank you :D
Where can i buy the retro grooves vol 3 album (preferably cd or digital download) please
All my complete album releases are available on all streaming platforms as well as BandCamp (eoxstudios.bandcamp.com) and SoundCloud. BandCamp would give you best assorted high quality file formats to download.
(CDs cost a lot to make because I’d have to order like 2000 to get the price down, and having that much stock of all my albums isn’t viable.)
@@AndersEngerJensen thank you 😁👍
😃
Can I use this song in a youtube video with credit in the description?
Yes, everyone can use my music for background and similar illustration purposes as long as they credit the use in the video somewhere, and link to my channel(s) in the description. :)
I know it’s on SoundCloud, but could you post to iTunes too? I’d like to buy, but I’m not ready for a monthly commitment
I'm planning to include this on the next album, but in order to release that (and upload it to all the streaming/store services) I need to have the entire album ready first. Still need a few more songs done, so it'll be a month or so.
I can’t wait. This is gorgeous
Lol I thought this was a gta 5 soundtrack at first 🤣
Is this creative commons?
No, but you can use it or remix it as long as you credit and link to one or more of my channels. :)
Can I use your music in my Video?
Yeah. Just credit the use in the videos and link to my channel(s) in the description. :)
Commodore 64
You should check out my Keeping up with Commodore remix then. ;)
