Here’s a comprehensive list of things to do, places to go and see in Redding that are more out-of-the-way, less popular, and most likely won’t be mentioned, but that I would highly recommend as a BSSM graduate:
Cal’s Books (briefly mentioned in the video, but it’s such an amazing and whimsical place to go to. I’m talking floor to ceiling books AND a sliding bookshelf ladder!)
Heritage coffee (my favorite location is in Shasta Lake, which is a bit of a drive as Jordan said, BUT they just opened up a location at the Stirring on Churn Creek. Has better tasting coffee and lots of seating.)
When Pie Meets Bread (also on Churn Creek. The absolute best baked goods you will ever have!)
From the Hearth (Try their southwest wrap, you won’t regret it!)
Lema Ranch (Lots of beautiful and scenic walking trails.)
Shop Around the Corner Books (Love this store and the owner is so friendly and nice! Located in downtown Redding.)
Gather (A cool consignment store with lots of different vendors and artisans also located in downtown.)
Oasis Fun Center (Mini golf, axe throwing and laser tag!)
Goodwill (Has one of the best book sections I’ve seen in a thrift store. Also more wallet friendly than Friday Vintage Co., even though they’re a great shop too it’s just sometimes people don’t have $25 to drop on a single item.)
