I could actually see them getting stuck in Sacramento or Salt Lake City for a decade when the Vegas stadium plan collapses after they move to a "temporary" home in 2025.
Where’s the 9:11 content?
TB needs a new, state of the art, 15k seat stadium! That way it can be 1/2 full, 1/3 of the time!😂
Then make it 5K.
Royals should stay at Kauffman Stadium. It’s one of the best ballparks and the only reason that fans haven’t shown up is due to how bad they’ve been after 2015
The problem with Kauffman is that there is nothing to do in the area after the game. No restaurants. No night clubs. No nothing.
Why would the Angels move? Sure they’re in the Dodgers shadow but LA and Anaheim is a huge market.
I actually like Anaheim's ballpark.
What is that ring on the Oakland A’s stadium?
No one knows. They threw this together in 20 minutes and now they say wad it up, new and improved renderings coming up soon. That was 6 months ago. This ownership is a joke.
then why is everyone on the net using the renderings if they are bogus? seriously. EVERYONE@@oiler62
No one goes to Rays games, so why build a new stadium in the TB area? Public funding has been rejected many times already, so the Rays best choice is to move out of Florida.
Other than that, I really don't see why some teams feel they have to have a new stadium every 10-15 years. It's a bad investment for taxpayers, and proper maintenance should keep any ballpark going for at least 50 years, if not more.
For Athletics
Make it last as long as Wrigley too
Yankee Stadium III Next
They put a good product on the field, it's pretty understandable to me why they don't draw. The Bucs and Lightning pack their places. The Rays current digs are a dump. Putting a new stadium in the same area is the worst idea imaginable, fans do not want to drive 45 minutes across the bay each way. They need to move to Tampa, preferably somewhere that is easily accessible from North Central, Central and the South Gulf Coast of Florida.
Royals move to downtown is far from finished. As of Friday, it's not in the ballot for public vote. Lots of opposition to John Sherman and Royals move from Kansas citians right now.
Which is really stupid. The Royals need to move downtown. It's in the best interest of the team and the city. They are not staying at Kauffman long term. If this drags out to the end of the lease, Sherman will just sell the team and they are worth a LOT more in a larger and faster growing city with a modern stadium, so they will be gone.
@@kc2dc444 The Royals do NOT need to move downtown. A downtown ballpark would be a freaking nightmare regarding traffic and parking...and if you can find a place to park good luck with having your car not missing any parts when you are ready to head home.
@@HawklordLI Well people like you who are scared of cities can not go. You will be replaced by others. But they are either moving downtown or leaving the metro. If people vote down a new stadium, they will keep Kauffman, but it won't have a team much longer.
@@kc2dc444 You're about as sharp as a bowling ball.
@@HawklordLI That's all you got? I can debate this for days with real facts and reasons. Can you?
And traffic, parking and crime are only things people say who are scared of cities. Maybe most royals fans are country folk or something who don't go near tall buildings? Example one of why the Royals desperately need to widen their demographics of fans.
Talk about being as sharp as a bowling ball.
A’s & Rays ok but why White Sox and royals? Royals stadium is still one of the nicest on eye appeal?
Kindly explain to me as to how the city of Buffalo did not build a stadium with a roof on it!
The weather should always be part of football. It's a shame there are so many domed stadiums
Never underestimate Tampa Bay, Florida’s ability to excessively waste money and taxpayer dollars
When do you think the Red Sox and Cubs are getting a new stadium bro???
Never
@@noaho8457 Then why do other stadiums get replaced after 40 years or so but they don’t?
Royals are not getting a dowtown park... Anyomne thinking(or wanting) that is on crack... Nobody wants another downtown ballpark. Parking and traffic would atrocious. Disrespectful to Kauffman family.
Downtown on some empty space, no silly veiws of downtown of the lake.
why does the internet producers insist on continuing to use that trainwreck of a FAKE A's stadium rendering in all its youtube postings?
I dear you to rank the mlb themes
Why are the White Sox building a new stadium? No one goes to the one they already have. Chicago should build the Bears stadium.
Angel Stadium is fine. Build up around it and keep them in Anaheim. Blasphemous to speak of relocation
The new Rays stadium looks phenomenal tho. Too bad their fanbase sucks
The Rays need to get out of St Pete, and move to Tampa. They will never draw fans to that run down crime ridden area.
There is no guarantee they'll draw 3 million fans a year in Tampa either
It doesn't make sense the Cubs need a new stadium way more than the white sox. The red sox, cubs and tampa bay are the the true franchises desperate for a new stadium.
Wrigley and Fenway temples offered to the baseball gods.
Wrigley Field is in better condition than many modern parks. Plus whenever I go there, I always have a great view of the game. Not so in Fenway. The last time I was in Fenway, I missed the first three innings because of late-comers blocking my view.
I don’t hate the rays plan at all if you modernize and build up St. Petersburg people will go to the games and it will greatly improve the community
First
This is so stupid and wasteful. Tropicana needs to remain. Renovate that mess! That's it! Stay far from tampa though. They can redo that dome easier than any other stadium ever could because it's already got the essential chassis foundation. They could easily cover all the industrial crap with proper interior design materials. They could invest like $200M and get a great effect given their attendance.
HOW ABOUT THE PROZAC DOME, IN HONOR OF DEPRESSED GINGER!?!?!? BWAHAHAHAHAHA! BWAHAHAHAHAHA!😂😅
1st choice Oakland.
2nd choice Salt Lake City, or San Jose, or Sacramento.
No choice Las Vegas.
Oriole Park at Camden Yards. Follow that.
I guarantee if ohtani stayed w the angels and they signed another superstar I bet they'd be the ones moving to Vegas
Oh no. Kauffman is grand. Trop is unique. Oakland is crime filled cws new comiskey is fine, city is bad
Need a team in NC
😂 Mlb has enough teams.. smh
White Sox need to leave for Nashville or Indianapolis
Get lost, Cubs fan!!!
@@damitzdesign I hate Chicago
@@nuancedliars112 and I hate NY....
I don't see the point of moving, especially when the White Sox can move their ballpark into an area that used to be a dreadful slum and add to the gentrification efforts even more.
@@brettsinger9565 cost analysis. Let's see how it plays out. Chicago's not cheap. Also the fan base isn't that strong.
F The Royals Ownership!
NO DOWNTOWN BALLPARK!! IDK WHY YOU SHOWING THIS B.S.! KAUFFMAN STADIUM IS BEAUTIFUL!
Hopefully the White Sox move to.Nashville.
GO CUBS!!!!
Kufman was always a dump.
But climate change climate change.
Your takes on the Rays are completely lacking in any semblance of knowledge about the situation.
I think the White Sox stadium should be a cookie cutter dome.
No. Cookie-cutter designs were a failure. Why do you think they aren't used anymore?
Stop!
No...
