  • Jeremy McGrath is the King of Supercross. With 72 wins and 7 championships he stands alone as the man inside a stadium. Obviously I am a lifelong fan of MC but it wasn't until recently we got to hang out at Mammoth Motocross where I got to see the secret to all of his success. He really love riding his dirtbike.

I had a sweet hole shot at a hare scramble in Ohio that had like 80 riders in it. It helped that I always had a good start at my local races for sure. But I never expected to do it at a dead start 80 rider lineup. Was a great feeling. 30 minutes later my rear sprocket came apart because the sprocket bolts had vibrated loose. DNF

Great interview, always like hearing from JM. Seems like yesterday watching him race 250cc supercross at the Indianapolis Hoosier Dome when he was getting booed by the majority of crowd due to the crowd lean to in state suprecross rider Mike LaRocco,. Mike was coming back from an injury (broken arm?) and did a solo parade lap on the track while the sound system in the dome blasted Aerosmith "Back In the Saddle ". JM won the 250cc class that night and I told everyone I went to watch the race with he's special. They wouldn't have any of it the time, they liked Damon Bradshaw and Jeff Matiasevich (Chicken). I think around mid 1995 they were all over JM, in my opinion he was to supercross what Micheal Jordan was to NBA in the 90's.

He was the original focal point for FMX and the dumb ass was too ignorant to eliminate using the F bomb and other choice curse words when the microphone was in his face. After just one TV show the networks dropped FMX coverage for a number of years. Thank You Metal Mulisha

You must be a complete moron. That was what people tuned in to see. Deegan and The Mulisha against Travis. Mulisha as a “brand” is still around and owned by Brian and Larry. 95% of the “Mulisha Family” riders still have name recognition to this day. Hell even the core Mulisha supporters had a split years back when Larry and Brian had a falling out over Brian making it more corporate and Larry wanting it to stay “core” to what it started and was meant to be.

The amount of pain and suffering Brian Deegan has endured to go another route should never be looked over, did 360s went to hell and back and still can ride all hemmed up.I can't believe Jeremy can even pedal a bike let alone line up for moto after his surgeries.
Who empties these guy bed pans, seems nobody remembers the injuries associated with riding.I couldn't stand to put my kids on the cold steel operating table. Instead of building death machines, the whole sport should work on safety gear and more manageable machines instead of inflated egos and quick cash kids.
Remember NASCAR put a limit to engine displacement before it was an unobtainable family pass time, that's what's happening now in moto.
