When I was 11-19 MC was my all time hero. I grew up going to Starwest, and in 93 I was able to meet MC and I thank him so much for being so cool to me and not letting me down. I always say that he is my all time favorite rider due to the fact that he treated me very well when I was a young kid, who walked up to his truck on a practice night while he was loading up and he was gracious. And yes I have met him several times since and it has never changed. Thanks MC.
Seen McGrath in Houston Supercross, He won the race and then the Fans tore down the fence by the Honda hauler and started chanting McGrath.... Jeff Stanton had to come out and calm everybody down, and then McGrath come out😂
Everyone born in the 70's did the 90's proper. That's a FACT.
Not really 60's and 70's people are the reason shits the way it is lol.. all brainwashed
For the record Jeremy is famous because he is an extremely skilled athelete and "actor" in the title of his discipline, he is and never was an "actor" he was and is the real deal. He gave us so many exciting times we will never forget! Thanks for being you Jeremy and being the real and honest guy that you are, whether your talking about riding or giving your family and sister much credit for there supporting your your efforts!!
The best ever interview series with the King! Thank you!
it's not being famous, it's what your famous for. McGrath is being modest to set a good example. he doesn't want to be someone who craves fame. he craved winning. all the same, he was a lot more famous than he lets on. and not only famous, but for being the pinnacle of a sport so awesome, even the people outside of it get it. I'd rather have McGrath's skill than any athlete aside from maybe Mike Tyson. McGrath was hugely famous he's just laying low and not saying it, which is part of what makes him great on top of being great.
I stood next to Jeremy at the chapel service for the supercross at the silverdome in 2000. Really cool time in my life.
I’m from South Africa where we looked up to McGrath in a big way. What he did was insane, he truly is the King of Supercross!
I remember seeing Jeremy at Australian beach club and the Metro back in the day. I was friends with his buddy Adam that owned a car stereo shop in Temecula, so got to see him all the time. Every time I met him, he was super chill.
I love moto- big part of my late teens early 20’s - but I am much bigger fan of mainstream sports- but I’ll say this - moto really doesn’t have anyone who ever even comes close to embarrassing the sport- everyone seems to represent themselves and the sport, retired and current stars, in a very humble, gracious way- you don’t often find an entire sport represented in such a fashion- hockey is close- but moto has turned out some quality, high character athletes. This dude is one of the best.
Jase your a legend yourself in moto world. That interview with Big Mac was amazing, he too inspired me with the old VHS tapes/ terafirma/supercross/and that shows how far and wide that video footage reaches because we lived in humpty doo /N.T. 🇦🇺Go the Lawrence brothers yeuuww🍻
im 35 and still my all time favorite rider
I saw you when you had your first still roots movie in Hollywood. It was the greatest night ever.
Long live the King!!!
FYI the Pink/Charlie’s Angels collab was indeed a music video for a song Pink did called “Feel Good Time” filmed in Long Beach ca. I only know this because I did stunt work on both projects
We used to have the coolest parties at millville. You could mingle with the riders. And there was always some crazy s*** going on. This was through the nineties. Through the two thousands they really cracked down. They got really corporate and they would search your car on the way into the gate
The partying is why the Era will always be the Golden One.
The Pink song in Charlie’s Angels was called “feel good time” - Pink was featured at the beginning of the coal pit motocross race scene. 🍻 mate
Heart interview 🤷♂️🤔. Mc is such a legend, thanks for all you did, and currently do for the sport, pretty sure I wore out every moto movie ever made a couple times 😂🤙
Mc forgets all the fun in the AOL motocross chat room we all had back then! Bahaha!
Yeah the days before phones was f'n great. No stress anywhere. Good times
Dude I recorded every moto when JMC went 15 of 16!! Had the pages of Moto Cross Mag on My Walls! My favorite Picture was McG on the 94' CR250!!
Nice to see the human side of famous folks.unfiltered and real. 👍🏾
Yes fame is strange. I was standing and watching Josh Coppins at the Motocross GP England and he pointed at a guy next to me and I looked at him and I was stunned Kevin Schwantz , walked through the crowd and up to Josh and started talking and looking at his bike.
If I remember right she was also the person taking the bets.
Dude the outro voice sounds real now! Used to sound like AI. Sounds a lot better and clear 🔥
King of Supercross 4 ever!!!
And thats why he had showtime on the back of his helmet!!
Just a random thought- it would be sick if you could find a way to have Ashley fiolek on and translate the sign language. Another person with a sick ass story
I still have his replica helmet
You have an edit error in your video at 2:40 you may want to repost. It isn't a pro look.
Hey atleast your fans like you for who you are and what you have achieved Vs. Those people who are "famous" for acting like someone else.
I remember a rented Mustang GT that got mudded. Was it Gainesville? Must have been 30 years ago. Maybe a couple more.
@@OGLD Damon may have been in the car with him and may have even been in his name but as I remember, it was MC in the driver’s seat. T-tops or a convertible. Convertible I think but I was rarely sober in those days.
Mtv Sports with Dan Cortese...
Still waiting on my helmet from Carey that he promised 20 yrs ago
There are people out there who don't know what MC looks like?
Remember that almost perfect season where Jeremy McGrath wore his helmet on the podium after every race so no one knew who he was..? 👽
Editor made an oops
Jase next time real ? For the man. How many time have you had botox
Chase stop interrupting your guess… it’s like your to turnt up and hyper
