Very thankful for the M-CARBO trigger upgrade. The factory trigger had a major malfunction of breaking during practice shooting. The new M-CARBO is the right fix. Thanks for the easy to follow installation instructions too!

Chris, your instructions are very clear and never rushed. You also point out details that are either necessary or just good to know. I didn't know you had a trigger for the LCP1 and bought one elsewhere and the installation video they had was rushed and difficult to follow at times. I have followed several of your videos and never had issues like I did with the other guy. Thanks for being clear and taking your time and for having a good working surface, background and lighting so we can see what exactly is going on.

That trigger is the bomb! I changed the trigger from the factory to another companies trigger when I first got the gun but i wasn't totally happy. This M*Carbo trigger is Amazing! If you have a LCP, you need this trigger. Keep up the great work guys. I'm a fan. I also have trigger kits for my CZ pistols as well. Love the products.

MAN!!! Super happy with the trigger and the spring kit! I bought the tools and parts from your site last week, followed the video to the tee and BOOM! Snappy, amazing feel and light trigger pull! I am a youtuber as well and conceal carry a LCP first gen when I vlog on the channel. The LCP is small, light, and fits in my jeans when I ride the motorcycle, yet the stock trigger was stiff and not that good, but now with the M*CARBO trigger and spring kit I am in love!!! Thank you for the great products and support videos. Yamayari

Recently got around to upgrading my old LCP with the new LCP 1 flat trigger and spring kit. (Hated the stock trigger!!) Really a great difference now. Was initially concerned about the warning that it would not fit models with XXX-XXXX serial #'s. Mine is a 376-XXXXX (5 digit after the dash) and it fit/functions fine. Watched the installation video by Chris and he was right on the money on everything but the tool he used to install the X power mag spring. The new spring is quite stiff and my old arthritic fingers would not have been able to use the tool he had. I put a notch in an old flat blade screwdriver and it worked well for the install. Wanted to also replace the take down pin but they were out of stock so I
I'll order one later. Can't wait to get out to shoot this highly upgraded gun. Thanks MCARBO for Your Great Products and Videos.

I got this for Christmas, installed it and just got back from a short range session where I put 50 rounds through it. To clarify, I got the aluminum flat trigger and the trigger spring kit. Here's a short review: the video instructions are outstanding. Follow them and it is a simple process. There are few tricky parts, but Chris gives you ample warning. I have no gunsmithing skills but was able to do this in a couple of hours once I had a set of pin punches. The Mcarbo gunsmithing hammer and bench block are helpful. The modified trigger is much better, however it is still an LCP. The pull is now lighter, as the video shows, but it is a long pull and still has the annoying "double reset." This is not all bad, since the long, heavy DA trigger pull is the only safety on the gun. The flat trigger is much more pleasant and you'll find your finger rests on the trigger in a better position for that long pull.. A few more sessions and I feel like I'll have the hang of the new trigger. A quick, cheap and fun way to improve the LCP!

Recently got around to upgrading my old LCP with the new LCP 1 flat trigger and spring kit. Really a great difference. Reduced pull from nearly 8 lbs. to a consistent 4 lbs., with less "slop." Was initially concerned about the warning that it would not fit models with XXX-XXXX serial #'s. Mine is an XXX-XXXXX (5 digit after the dash) and it fit/functions fine.

If you own an LCP you have to buy these amazing products
I purchased the LCP Spring Kit, Flat Trigger Upgrade Kit and the Takedown Pin. These parts truly transformed my LCP! Everyone knows the trigger that came from Ruger is absolutely horrible and made the LCP very difficult to shoot. No longer!
I just installed the Mcarbo parts listed above and instantly noticed an amazing transformation. The trigger is now smooth, trigger take-up is short and the trigger break is crisp. It no longer has that long dreadful long trigger pull. Trigger pull weight was reduced from a measured 6.5 lbs to 4.5 lbs. Last and certainly not least the wide flat trigger is well designed, comfortable along with perfect finger placement. The Mcarbo parts truly transform the LCP into a highly effective shootable pistol.
I just got back from the range and I put 50 rounds through it. Before the Mcarbo upgrade I could never get consistently tight groups and it was frustrating to shot. Tonight I consistently got tight groups for the first time ever it is now fun to shoot. More importantly I am now confident I can defend myself with my LCP and would be able to put the shots where necessary to stop the threat.
IF YOU OWN AN LCP YOU MUST GET THESE PARTS.

Just installed this trigger along with their stainless steel guide rod today, and already had the Galloway Precison’s 13 pound recoil spring, Houge grip, and Garrison magazine extension. If you have all the right tools, all of them I purchased from M*Carbo when I purchased the trigger and guide rod, and follow this video for guidance, you can easily swap out the trigger in less than 30 minutes. This trigger is a game changer and definitely worth getting.

    Two years later….
Ruger LCP Max Flat Trigger And Spring Kit
I was introduced to M*CARBO when I upgraded my LCP I with their flat trigger and spring kit. It truly transformed a questionable daily carry pistol to my every day carry.
I decided to buy the LCP MAX because of its 10/12 round capacity and the fact it’s slightly wider giving it far greater controllability. The day after I bought it I shipped it to M*CARBO to have their Flat Trigger Upgrade Kit, Trigger Spring Kit, and Upgraded Stainless Steel Guide Rod installed.
Took it to the range for the first time on Saturday and it blew me away how accurate and controllable it is. The take up and break is absolutely perfect for conceal carry. Firing a single shot, fast double taps even ripping 10 rounds fast as I could pull the trigger made no different. All shots hit within the ten ring. IMO beyond impressive for such a small gun.
M*Carbo is the go to place for great innovative products and installation (gunsmith work).
Would not trust my life to anyone else.

You can replace just the trigger, but since you'll be doing a complete teardown, why not replace them while you're at it? The springs are inexpensive and make a world of difference! I swapped out the trigger, springs, guide rod and takedown pin on mine. Ended up going back with the factory trigger return spring, but kept the lighter mainspring and firing pin spring.
      It really helped!

  • @deucedeuce1572
    @deucedeuce1572 Před rokem

I like straight triggers... but I hate FLAT triggers. Very few companies ever make a straight trigger that's not flat, but the few that do have excellent, very comfortable triggers. Most people partially wrap their fingers around the trigger (anyone that don't have small hands).... so having a Flat trigger with 90 degree edges really makes for an uncomfortable trigger. It's like wrapping your finger around a board with sharp edges (as apposed to wrapping your finger around a dowel, which would be comfortable). I know they shouldn't be sharp and blade like (like OEM Glock triggers and the OEM LCP kinda)... but making them too wide with corners seems to make them even worse for a lot of people too.
