This is the most thorough, technical and articulate skate tutorial I’ve ever watched. Amazing. It’s like a doctor or master martial artist explaining something to me haha. Much love.
Wizard skating and rollerblading in general feels so Yin
After a session I always feel like I want to do some Katas. And transmute the Yin energy straight to Yang 😂
We need more of your great tutorials!
Great content, Shaun! 🙏🏽
We all love and cherish your flow videos, but we beg you with all our hearts to do more tutorial videos... with great skill comes great responsibility to teach.!

oh man, that first rotation exercise is going to help me so much to at finding pivot points even for gazelles, thanks shaun!
The swing leg...Thanks Shaun for breaking all the components of this move down to the point where I can start at the base and build up from there. You really are a great instructor !!
Just what I was looking for. Now I'll be a lion tamer. Thank you very much!
Really great tutorial, Shaun! Here it looks so much easier than the countless exercises I went through myself when I was trying to learn Lions.
Your deduction methods are unmatched 👏🏼
Dude I'm amazed on how easy you explain these movements.. you really have a teaching gift.
Your voice is so chill! Smooth tutorial ✌️

Thanks Shaun. U made it easier for me to understand!
Wow. Instant favorite! Thanks for making this tutorial.

I have watched many of your videos over the past two years. They are very interesting and instructional even for a new senior year old rollerblader. Many thanks.
Great video Shaun! I find you're teaching/tutorials very accessible and well explained. Thanks for that. Will be watching them all!

Great stuff, thanks a lot for the technique breakdown.
Love watching your videos on my days off. Can’t wait to kill it like you 🔥
Thx from France ;)

Yes!! Thanks a lot for this video!!! I think I finally got it! 🙏🙌❤️
Awesome bro! Thank you a lot!!!
thank you for this early christmas present!!
Nice one, gonna try that! Thank you so much
Man, Ure such a good teacher even on screen! I just startet skating because my family made me to after everyone already had skates. I started with your exercises and overtook the hole bunch of people in a second! Balance is so critical for skating and your exercises helped me so much to learn that in the very first second in the skate. Thank you so much! Ihoped I‘d be such a good teacher too, as I have to show it to the family now. Everywhere are brights and shadows 😊 I ask myself what the kids will be yelling like when daddy starts lions while they are crouching. It’s in your head kid. Just look at my movements for one single second.
Please do more tutorial videos. You have an amazing teaching talent. Thank you
Thanks a lot. Great máster class
I really like your videos, especially when you walk through the streets and play very relaxing music and listen to the wheels, it is very pleasant😁😁😁
How did you know this is exactly the inspiration I needed next? (rhetorical, and thank you so much for this GREAT tutorial!!)
excellent demonstration and explanation of the mechanics. i will definitely be wearing all my protective gear when i try this out lol
This is an incredibly helpful exercise, even if I don't understand how you do this leg-juggling with this afterwards, i am going to practice. Thank you
im gon give it a try!
eu amo os seus vídeos
Nicely cut in smaller parts, can't wait to try em all, as soon as I got my new rockered frame set up! :-D
Thanks so much Sean
Great Videos. Two things…one I feel like I have been wizard skating unintentionally for two decades. Two…my bucket list consists of outdoor ice skating in Canada and here you are on the only bit of concrete not covered in frozen stuff. 😁
Great Tutorial!👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
😍😍 amazing
Thank you!
Thank you for really didactic videos.
Thank you for this. Going out to practice now …
Nice moves
Best video on CZcams
Veriy nice video ❤
Good stuff
You lil baddies ❤️ got me back into rollerblading
Спасибо большое !
great video
Me encantan tus enseñanzas además de patinar excelente!!! ..algún día pondrás traductor al español? Gracias totales 🇦🇷
Aparte de ser un genio en ruedas, está muy bueno el flaco 🙏☝️
Great tutorial. Thank you so much. Just want to point out that all the moves that are done on a single leg require perfect transmission of motion end to end. You can notice that Shaun's boot it's perfectly adjusted And locked on foot.
very nice
I am a Chinese,. I study skating and English From you . and your videos are very good.
Seems like I did a lion yesterday without even knowing what I was doing 😂 Really enjoying these PR80 frames
That's the dream winter spot for aggressive
Had a blast this AM just working on the front lion all morning. Those first few building blocks were incredibly helpful. Thank you!
I also realized that I need to work on my back open tree! Fundamentals, right?
awesome tutorial!! give me next
Tanks 🤙😉
Man I love your style of teaching this stuff. I am clueless and it has helped me get skating. Now I want to try these wizard skates. It seems like a super logical skate design. I have super wide freak feet. So looking at mission inhalers. Maybe next year upgrade to wizard frames. Or is there a complete skate to look at that fits freak wide feet?
It's crazy how close you get the wheels on crossovers without catching
Was thinking that 😂
Am a skater from Zambia,, do more videos on skating backwards ❤❤
I find rolling in a figure 8, wether its forwards or backwards is a reallllly good warmup, and exercise.
Smooth
Me visualizing me doing this... Shaun: "good" me... thanks! Lol. I feel like I'm learning and I'm just chilling here at work
Are all those moves even possible without a wizard frame / rockered setup?
Defenitely possible with some natural wear on the wheels, I wouldn't try it on a set of fresh wheels tho. (I usually do moves like this on an 4x90 endless frame, but i also have a different 3x110 flat setup with some slightly worn wheels that works fine too!)
edit: A rockered setup will make the learning curve easier and the experience more enjoyable tho!
Excellent explanation. Do you think Wizard guards would be a good runner for an Bauer Vapor 5.0?
Nice tutorial! By the way, would you recommend a beginner to start with wizard skating?
Do you still have a shop in Calgary? Great skating btw!
Saludos dónde compró unos patines así de geniales de 6 ruedaas😊
Thank you namaste
I am from India sir
That doesn’t look that hard…. HA!! GREAT lesson!!! The crossover “twirl” is a really helpful concept, as is the chalk circle indicating the target diameter of the moves, as well as your demonstrations from a standstill (very daunting to try these at speed). Thank you!!
hello Shaun, thank you for the great tutorial. How can I, as a person not in the NA region, support your work? I can't quite afford to buy and ship merch from shop-task and/or your merch store, but would love if you had a Patreon page or something similar.
once again, thank you for imparting your skills to new skaters, and for inspiring us!
Thank you so much. Naming different directions of lions are a bit confusing for me…pls explain.
I just realized Ive been trying to skate backwards with weight on my heels. Cant wait to fix that and actually get good at skating backwards
Namaste🙏
🤩🤩🤩👍
Quick question, do you have to have the wizard frames to be able to perform these tricks. If not is there any added benefit from having them?
How much of a difference do 6 wheels make on feeling heels and toes? Compared to 4 wheels
👍🙏
I been trying that moves with a "traditional frame" but is a little bit harder. Is really neccesary a wizzard frame to perform it? Thx Shaun! Greetings from Chile! 😁
As long as your wheels are rockered you should be able to do them on any frame. Might be hard on a 3 wheel frame though. Look at all the swivelly stuff slalom skaters do.
shaun do you think i can do wizard skate with normal skates or at least with slalom ones?
Yes!!
Can you please tell me what kind of frame are you wearing and what kind of wheels please 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽💫💫💫🙋🏽♂️
