We are uploading our next video testing the mileage of our new Honda City 2020 5th Gen V MT. This includes city ride and highway drive.

Honda City is an amazing car. Recently I completed a family trip of 1100 km that includes about 150 km drive in village roads. Over the weight inside the car (including people and luggage) was 250 kgs and we did a linear driving (no harsh acceleration, harsh braking, overspeeding). About 400 km run was done using ADAS cruise control set at 80 or 90 km/hr. Got an overall trip average of 22.34 km/litre which according to me is great for this car.
Do you have a manual?
Got my honda city last month. I was also first skeptical about ground clearence but i havnt encountered any issues. On the contrary suspensions are just awesome. Happy with my decision !!
Which varient you have? Hows the overall experience?? Have you tried mileage??
Same..even i haven't faced any issue for ground clearance..even on very high bumps or deep pits (as heard in the rumours)
True one of the finest engine.....this car is not for racers,,only for those who really love driving.....honda,❤️

Very well made video and thanks for the effort you put into making it. Surprised to see such results from the petrol version. How has the average been during summers with AC running in the city? I am trying to decide between Ciaz Alpha and City V, thanks.
In summers, if you go on a long route which does not have major stopping, it can easily gives mileage of 15 to 18. On highways, it gives more like 23 we shown in the video. If there are red lights or bumper to bumper traffic, we experienced only 12 to 12.5 kmpl.

Not required in Mumbai roads as far my experience. I have the V model.

Have you done upholstery? Floor mat is company provided?

Thanks for taking out time to watch the video. It has fabric upholstery as provided by the company. We are thinking to buy seat covers from Honda Dealer as it has seat airbags and getting the seat covers from a local shop may cause warranty problems.
We got the mat from outside. 9D mats. Beige color.

Thanks for watching the video. We are running the car with 15" alloy wheels and would like to tell you that there are no drawbacks. We find the car drive very smooth upto 80 or 90 kmph.

in case of low size tyres they increase the profile of the tire to compensate as per to have the accurate speedometer things uk

@@jinkswinks408 I would suggest making a simple DIY maintenance check video. I would like to point out that we didnot get a toolbox or tools holder that is generally made of thermocol mould and fits into spare tyre. Am looking for options with Maruti Genuine Parts store for either Brezza or Ciaz's tools holder.

@@jinkswinks408 I think It was your video only where you mentioned that it was missing a tools holder. So I searched alot even at boodmo but they have no pictures. So I went to MGP store and found the part number there. He said it can be made available in a weeks time.

The A/C was On for few minutes but not all the time. This was for two people sitting in car. But this should be reduced to 15 to 18.

Thanks for taking out time to watch the video. Yes, alloys can be upgraded to 16 inch. We checked the cost from the local shop and found the price to be 6000 bucks per alloy.

Fabric quality seems to be average. The color is very light and highly prone to dirt and dark spots. I will recommend to upgrade the fabric seats to leather seats. Upgrading to leather seats will give a more premium feel as well as it will be easy to clean the same with a damp cloth.
Considering the comfort, the seats are really confortable to sit. It gives a pleasure to drive this beauty.

Thanks for watching the video and posting your question. Apko agar sporty feel car chahiye to Go for Verna. You can feel the power when you put your feet on the accelerator but the problem is ki verna mein ki back seat mein leg space bht kam hai. Kuch users ne verna ki brake problems bhi report kari hai. This is true that verna has more sporty feel than Honda City.

That is a very tough question. It actually depends upon personal preference. If you like design, features, Space, Luxury then go for Honda. If you like High Build Quality, High Speed, 3 Cylinder Engine with Turbo then go for Rapid. If space at the back seat doesn't matter to you and you like power while acceleration then go for Verna. If you like low maintenance, high resale then go for Ciaz.
My personal choice was Honda as it is pure luxury and loads of space. It has some problems for which I have made video, but many positives too.
I would have been selected Honda City which I did. :)

Expect bit of a lack in CVT as it has rubber band effect. The power throw is not that much comparing to Manual. But it is very easy to drive. Take care while overtaking the cars. That is all you have to consider. CVT is best in Honda City but you have to expect upto the respective level from your car.
Honda CVT top model is a great choice indeed.

Hi Aditveer, speaker quality is decent. They are loud. Bass is there but quality is of medium range. Overall acceptable.

Drive quality of the car is really good in City. High speed stability will not give you a lot of confidence. But overall worth buying because no other car manufacturer provide such huge space and features in the base variant.
I have 4th gen honda city. Bought on july 15. Ran only 2800 kms. Once i got 27.1 avg. Nd have taken the pic also

Thanks for watching the video. We also have a Manual V petrol variant. Normally, if we drive car in city, we also do get the same average. The average we got was a combination of highway and city drive. It was pretty good.
Yes. Combination mileage is around 17-18. Its good to have a 1500cc vehicle producing 18 mileage

Hello ishwar. Thanks for your response. Disclaimer: The average is purely based on travel distance, traffic conditions, driving style. Weather and many more. This is just our observation. The actual average in traffic (on ac) varies normally from 10 kmpl to 13kmpl.
