Today, I try to survive Louisville in Project Zomboid, one of the craziest areas in the game. The population of these zombies seems like it’s X100. Of course, I had to try clearing mall out, getting the Crossroads Mall experience. Lastly, I had to see the Saul Goodman easter egg in Project Zomboid. Enjoy my friends and I’s suffering.

I lived in the irl Louisville KY, if the game was really realistic Louisville wouldn't be overrun because every single person has a free mini souvenir baseball bat from the slugger museum
it was airborne infection... although there is one factory in the game in which it is filled with baseball bats.
Then once a lot of people turn, a small but overarmed mob will fire 10.8% of the entire US supply of ammo and kill every Zombie 5 times over before finally dying lol
@@RoseDragoness Yeah its situated North of the City near the bridge, just a factory with an endless supply of Baseball bats which you can add nails for more damage.

The fastest option almost always is the worst, running will make you trip, letting them surround you due to false sense of safety is purely on you.
If Hank was there, this zombie apocalypse would've been ended.

TLDR: I went to the mall with 3 friends and 2 of them died
Me and my friendgroup(4 ppl including me) raided the mall but we had our shotguns in the trunk because we didn't want to constantly be over encumbered(We all had strength 3-5). We should've immediately grabbed those shotguns. We survived for awhile but inevitably 2 fell. They came back and one was able to get into the van so we did drive by refills of shotgun shells, but the hordes were too large and our inventory too small to hold the necessary amount. Finally the other who hadn't died yet was able to make it to a neighborhood nearby where he was safe. 5ish minutes later and a lot of walking away from the horde of 100+ zombies behind me and I managed to get into my car and bolt to the neighborhood.
Edit note: We did not have multihit on so taking on the horde with melee was incredibly dangerous

*HALO REACH OST LONE WOLF INTENSIFIES*
On the server settings you can deactivate the zombie spawn by setting "Respawn hours" to 0. Its cool to make a "persistent" run. Like "We need to clear this city to loot" and then you really indeed clear it and the only possibility is if one big group migrate back to the city. For it you also have to activate group migrations on the settings
Also, use cars with sirens and then molotovs to clear areas
And playing only throught the in-game communication, using walktalks, radios and etc makes your >>>immersion

@@totallynoteverything1. Thanks I'll be sure to keep this in mind for my next run. I tend to disable loot respawn and zombies. Disabling zombie respawn doesn't do much by the way, it just makes the zombie threat less prominent. But they always return thanks to migrating hordes

You could have escaped that last stand. There were two windows with curtains on them. You could have crafted a sheet rope, broke one window and roped out of there.

There’s also a mod that adds the Walter White House. It’s called ‘Over the River’. Also features a second mod that adds a secondary bridge.

They've got to make some sort of Cincinnati DLC (I live in Cincy, don't know what it was like in the nineties). Imagine the crazy population and the skyscrapers! They could also add the "things".

i highly recommend Shared Faction/Coop Map Symbols MOD so you can see the drawings the member of your faction. you have your own map and you have shared map that you can switch maps with single click in map menu.

I made the mistake of making a base in Louisville because now I cant make another base anywhere cause the other towns are boring to me lol I love how everything I would ever need in a playthrough is there. The only problem is trying to find a new base location in Louisville lol
I had the same experience basing there. Turned on runners and smaller towns got a lot more exciting again.

almost ritual at this point, all my runs start bucknaked in louisville, your first day shouldnt be calmly preparing for more zeds, it should be spend full sprinting out of the military checkpoint, its like a right of passage before i sink time into a new run
