i can already tell Nicolas Cage had a blast in this role
Thank God, we need more Nick Cage in major movies again.
Yup. I think he fits comedy roles best.
it's cage, he is always having a blast
Most actors state in interviews, villains are the most fun to play.
the best ones are when they let him run amuck
How nice of them to give Nicolas Cage's agent his very own film.
Underrated comment.
What?! That is so true.
this is ridiculous but i love that this seems to actually be observing Dracula novel lore. from Renfield being an unwilling semi-vampire slave to Dracula, to the "can't enter without invitation" rule, this looks pretty cool
Could Renfield cut off people's arms with serving platter? So not really respecting the lore.
And it’s Nicolas Cage for the Cherry on top!
@@mecurian485 Renfield spent the whole book clapped up in irons behind the bars of a sanitarium. They obviously considered him dangerous.
@@dickstryker Not "cut off your arms with a serving tray" dangerous. More likely just the more mortal "bite your face" crazy. He was constantly eating insects to "absorb their life" and would have killed another person given the opportunity. That's why he was locked up.
I always thought the "Can't enter without invitation rule" as being one of the dumbest Vampire gimmicks that have ever existed.
I mean the bursting on fire in the sunlight, garlic, and crosses are arguably just as dumb, but this one just strikes me as particularly stupid.
Aren't Vampires supposed to come across as these unnatural, unstoppable, abominations that crawled straight out of hell.
Gives me "Dracula: Dead and Loving it" vibes, and I'm loving it.
Vampire in Brooklyn
With just a hint of Mandy
@@SomeGuyandanAmbulance
Unfortunately not to, "Vampires Kiss" level
Nicolas Cage as Nicolas Cage as a vampire playing Nicolas Cage in a Nicolas Cage film
That’s golden
That`s what we all love him for.
and i keep Pickelus Cage in a jar next to me when i watch his films!!
Wow nicolas cage ception
Lets all head back to 9gag and choke on some dicks
Everyone else is just a walk-in part.
Me seeing news about this, "no no no noo." Me seeing this trailer, "yes yes yes yees!"
Yes! Yes! Yes! Oh my god...
Same
@@dionysosalters6763 Was that a Jojo reference?
I am so damn excited for this! Nicholas Cage as Dracula, fuck yeah!
Or Dracula as Nicolas Cage?
Nicholas Cage has been in many good and bad movies, he should give a TED talk "never give up, eventually you will hit the landing again and again, maybe not, close enough, crash, landed again." I am watching this movie : )
heard he made so many bad movies because he was in depth feom not paying taxes or bad investments or something like that and he got black balled from hollywoood
The thing about Nicolas Cage is that no matter what movie he's in... it's instantly a Nicolas Cage movie. He never phones it in. As fucking weird as his performances often are, he never dials it back. You hire Nic Cage, you get Nic Cage. And that's pretty damn admirable, because his style is practically impossible to replicate.
@@bryanhill4446 he's a fan of Comic Books and invested in them a lot..
Not a great idea..
As one person put it - 'Sometimes he's making good movies and sometimes he's shitting a hole straight through the bed, but he's never NOT entertaining.'
His movie is always 50/50
Cage actually looks like young Christopher Lee's Dracula in the shot 2:20
That can't be a coincident.
Correct, as it would be a coincidence.
And it is not, this is just another trash copy of something that needs to be done for the next generation they haven't captivated with a historally wrong depiction of Dracula.
Kinda bored of this media and how they just copy and paste for years on end.
Yeah, I get the feeling that they deliberately went for the Christopher Lee/Bela Lugosi look of Dracula, and it definitely works with Cage.
@@Abduckted Thank you. I thought I was the only one who thought this way. Hollywood is a dying business. There is no originality coming from them. Lately, it's just been superhero movies & really stupid remakes of old classic movies & TV shows. Not to mention all their political garbage they're spewing out. They think they are God's gift to humanity & that we should worship the ground they walk on.
Damn you nailed that. I knew he looked different/familiar in that shot!
Ok, this looks like some classic Cage ridiculousness, I'm all in!
He finally became that Vampire 🧛♀️ (Vampire's kiss 💋 1989)
You're right!!!! Lmao 🤣
❤️❤️
its a sequel
More like Bram Stokers Dracula
This is Vampire's Kiss part 2. He didn't actually die in the last movie and is stuck in a mental ward.
Fun Fact: They chose Nicolas Cage to play Dracula because he already had the clothes and he's already a vampire.
Civil war picture came to mind
I am genuinely excited for this, Nicolas Cage and Nicholas Hoult are going to be an interesting duo. I've loved Hoult's acting since that one zombie show
Nicolas Cage as Dracula ... I'm sold. Even if this movie isn't great, it looks like a fun time.
For any one familiar with Cage's work, the irony shouldn't be lost, considering one of Cage's earliest succeses and passion projects was playing a fake vampire in Vampire's Kiss, now we have gone full circle.
-Queue bass guitar.
-Enter Kramer stage right: "Sorry to interrupt."
-George: "Are you okay?"
ohhhh RENfield, my bad!
haha. very good
It would be nice to see Nicolas Cage and his unique acting talent back in the big movies (please)
i second this
I miss Nicholas cage type of movies! Always loved them
"Every line is either whispered or screamed." SNL: In the cage with Nicolas Cage.
Renfield continues that great tradition.
I'm pretty sure everyone in this movie had a blast. I'm going to see it.
I'm a simple man: I see Nicholas Cage doing a silly face in a thumbnail for a movie trailer,
i click it!
"I'M A VAMPIRE I'M A VAMPIRE I'M A VAMPIRE!"
I want to watch this for sure... SO DIFFERENT!! definitely caught my attention
How to get a person to not calm down: Tell them over and over to "calm down".. haha
Nic Cage = still Bossman
I knew Nicholas was actually a vampire!!
I don't know about the movie, but the trailer sells it.
this is why nicolas cage is the greatest
not even close.
Someones standards are seriously low....
Renfield movie? Cool.
Nic Cage as Dracula? Awesome.
Mulate's restaurant? Now you're just making me hungry.
In my head cannon, this is just a continuation of Nicholas Cage's character from Vampire's Kiss.
I guess he really did become a vampire
_(stares at Vampire's Kiss)_
Well, look at that. He *_was_* a vampire after all...
its nice how this movie is a love letter to nicolas cage's old movie about vampires, now he is the vampire 👏👏👏
my how time flies
Nobody in a million years.
Hollywood: Hey let’s keep pushing that Aquafina chick.
I read "Reinfeldt" who is a former PM of Sweden and i was like "This'll be interesting".
Imagine you are something of a noble general, betrayed in the family feud, lost your province, spent all life wondering from one important dude to another and fighting for them. And later in life somebody makes a book about you being an ungodly monster that sucks blood out of people....
THIS is now on my schedule !
Ive watched this trailer so many times it looks fantastic!
Nicholas doing faces
I'm sold
I’m not convinced this isn’t a sequel to Nic Cage’s Vampire's Kiss lmao
Dang, I've seen this trailer like 6 times. Nick Cage as Dracula. Didn't recognize him. Now I have to go see this movie.
This actually has me interested.
First time in a very long while I’m looking forward to a movie! Seems like a fun movie!
Well consider me charmed. I'm looking forward to this.
I swear that "I need your assistance" read is Liam Neeson
"It's all in the wrist." i love this guy already XD
This reminded me I fell asleep watching the menu
Inside my head audiences have been screaming for AWKWAFINA and this movie satiates that "bloodlust."
I can't tell if this is meant to be taken seriously, but Nicolas Cage is definitely the freakiest Dracula I've ever seen.
This...actually looks great.
I'M A VAMPIRE! I'M A VAMPIRE! I'M A VAMPIRE! I'M A VAMPIRE! I'M A VAMPIRE! - Nick Cage back in Vampire's Kiss
I cannot wait to see this movie, looks great.
I'm so excited for this
I'm so in for this.
Seems like an interesting concept for the show. Can't wait to see how they f it up.
yes please
This looks good!!!😊
this trailer reminds me of that scene in the Tim Burton Dark Shadows adaption where the vampire hangs out with a bunch of hippes..thanks them for thier counsel and empathy..then tearfully announces he's going to kill them all. which he does. Just...one of those things.
"Master Master I mean Mister Mister " Renfield
Nicholas Cage is so much better these days when he is in roles like this, weird and whacky suits him so well. He was amazing in the colour out of space.
Just yesterday I was thinking "I haven't seen much of Nic Cage lately, what's he up to?"
Pretty pretty pretty cool
Nicholas Cage seems to live by the motto, “Say yes to everything,” and this role is exactly why.
Im up for another What we do in the shadows, but like in Nick Cage funny way
I think at this point Nicolas Cage has been in literally 100 movies.
Aggggggh!!!!!😍😍😍😍 - all my favorite actors: Nicholas Hoult from The Great (Peter) & Brandon Scott Jones from Ghosts (Captain Higgentoot) & last but not least - Nick Cage!!!🎉🎉🎉
Can't wait!!!!
Love it
glad nick cage back on the main stage he been in hollywood pergitory to long
Funny thing is his uncle is Francis Ford Coppola who directed Bram Stoker's Dracula
when the therapist say he can come in and the guy screams implies he is a traditional vampire and can't come inside houses without invitation
This is way different from what I expected this movie to be, but I’m still totally on board.
that scream at 1:11, does anyone else hear peter macnicol from dracula: dead and loving it, 1995?
OMg, I love horror comedy!!!!! They don't make enough of them.
I think it is a lovely tribute to Mr. Leslie Nielsen :')
I don't know about you guys but i feel this would be better as a TV series
That is the best trailer I have seen in about a decade.
He’s so good.
Finally cage is back on the right track 😂
Looks hysterical. 🙂🙃
Morbius 2 looking pretty wild.
The best part of this is that Nicolas Cage actually looks similar to Christopher Lee when he played Dracula.
I'm looking forward to this.
Finally a nick cage biopic
@@robertmoffit1135 🤣
This looks awesome
Wow can’t wait
So Nicholas Cage finally became a vampire 😂
Yes
This is going to be the movie of all time!
This is going to be unoriginal comment of all time!
YES YES YES!!!!
Looks fun.
Peter mcnicol played the best renfield ever in Dracula dead and loving it ...
When I heard about this, I was expecting a shlock retelling of Dracula but from the Refield perspective. This actually looks like fun!
This....looks fun.
excelent
Looks fun and enjoyable
omfg Nick Cage just dont miss
Calling it now, the scene when cage walks into the meeting will be at the end of the movie and will be the only scene he's actually in.
This looks like a hoot! Fingers crossed it's as good at this trailer looks

DEF GONA WATCH
